Occasion: Visiting my daughter in Cleveland and couldn't leave without a trip to Malley's Drove to this location specifically because they have ice cream. I really have no idea if Malley's actually makes the ice cream, or if they just use their chocolate products to embellish the ice cream. I suppose it doesn't matter. Daughter had some kind of sundae that was as big as a meal, ate every bite, and loved it. I had the puppy kids sundae and it was so cute - they made it in the shape of a puppy dog!! So unexpected and cute - I ate the whole thing and smiled while I did it:) They have the usual selection of chocolates. Favorites include: discs covered in non-pareils, cle bars, and bordeaux truffles. Least favorites: truffles because there is no flavor guide and nut cluster boxes, because there were not enough nuts to call them nut clusters, they were more like chocolate globs with a piece of nut hidden in there somewhere. My purchases: non-pareil discs x2, large bordeaux truffles, nut clusters, assorted truffles, ice cream sundae, kids puppy ice cream Bill: almost $150. Staff was friendly but not exceptionally helpful - although there were several of them, they were all standing behind the counter instead of on the floor attempting to help customers. Would I recommend: yes, puppy sundae Would I return: yes, not that I have a choice. Empty store. Friendly employees. Expensive chocolates. I got the bag of mistake chocolates which had quite a few delicious chocolate covered marzipan pieces and some pieces of bar chocolate which was very hard but tasty. It was $9.99ish for a bag which is spendy. read more

Wonderful, family owned place! Malley-Os (chocolate covered Oreos!) are terrific, and the chocolate covered pretzels are amazing! And if you want chocolate covered Fritos, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! This is the worst Malleys location I have ever been to and being a local lover of malleys it pains me to leave this review....Malleys is magical to me and a tradition from my childhood, a treat to visit and a pastel pink paradise. This location does the malleys brand no justice- no greeting when I entered, no 'can i help you find that delicious pretzel bar youre after', employees who were being short w each other, mediocre displays, no thank you as I left... and still having a selection of full price valentines themed packaging on the 20th is not cool. Discount ALL the stuff please. I'm sure the treats I did purchase will be delicious, the product is the only reason for this not being a one star review. read more

This Malley's location is terrific! Easy to get to, lots of parking and a staff that will entertain you and make you smile! I stopped at this location, on impulse, while in the area having dinner and got a craving for chocolate. Kathi, Jasmine and Laura are so personable, friendly, fun and clearly enjoy working at Malley's and with each other. As I shopped, Laura was restocking the many gift boxes that had been sold throughout the day, asking if there was anything she could help me find. Jasmine was walking around the store offering guests chocolate caramel samples. Kathi was efficiently helping customers at the counter, all the while treating you like you were part of their Malley "Family". I found everything I needed and truly felt appreciated for stopping in this staff's store. I had a fun experience, which frankly caused me to buy a couple of extra items, because of this staff. I am glad to have a local Malley's that's not as chaotic as the other location(s) but can't gush over the experience that I had. Malley's is a great product although a tad pricey. I wonder if the customer service (or lack of) is due to the small town suburban vibe which gets better as you become a frequent patron? I can't answer and doubt that I ever will be there that frequent. The reasons are two fold... I am not a big chocolate fan and my wife is sugar free only. They do have some sugar free varieties which is nice because it's hard to find but the cost is the other reason you won't find me there very often. When I crave chocolate, it's usually a Mallo Cup or Reese's PB Cup from the local gas station. Malley's is great for special occasions and gifting but not on my list for the occasional craving for chocolate. I do hope the location works out because I like supporting local businesses whenever possible. This one is just "average" at least at this point in time. read more
