I was told a price on both silver pieces, so I had her set them to the side for me to purchase. For the gold pieces, they did the same but did not know how much gold they had. They weighed and ran numbers. Gave me a price of $387 for both and I agreed. One of them tells me "let me be sure" and starts looking through her phone. I sat down and waited for 10-15 minutes. She proceeds to tell me that they now cost $500. I asked why, and how much each would cost. She proceeds to do the same, and after 20 minutes nothing. I asked her a couple times and she finally makes a call. I agreed to purchase a gold piece and the two silver pieces. I went to make my purchase, and all of a sudden it's card only due to "company policies". I've been a customer for a year now, and have always bought all the junk coins they had in the show case. All my purchases have always been card and tax free. I recently made a purchase not even 5 days before today. This also applies to every other coin dealer. I have always paid with card. It's a shame, but it is what it is. This was by far my favorite store to come to for all their pieces. The two ladies were very unprofessional and were unknowledgeable. Also eating on the show room floor in front of everyone laughing and joking the whole time. I waited 30-40 minutes all for nothing. To all who helped me in the past, I want to say thank you. I am very disappointed. I went in this evening to inquire about a new movement for my watch. When I told her that I had a battery done recently and that my watch was still losing time, she said that my watch was not worth a new movement, which costs about $125 to $150. I explained that the watch was worth more than that, and had sentimental value and that I had no problem spending the money. She then proceeded to tell me that the watch was running on time and wasn't broken. I explained that I had just reset it in the car before walking in, and she then said that the watch person was not going to get to me for at least 10 days because "there are other people in front of you". I felt like she didn't want my money or business. I purposefully went into a small, privately-owned establishment rather than a chain store, but I feel that I would have had better service and better luck somewhere else. She then walked away while I was in mid-sentence to answer the phone and proceeded to ignore me. If the owner reads these, I would hope he would take away the following three points: 1. As the customer, it is up to me to establish what I am willing to invest in my pieces. It is not up to the clerk to establish what it is "worth". "Worth" is a subjective term. 2. Ignoring a customer and then reluctantly admitting them into the store 3 hours before closing does not leave a good impression. 3. Jewelry is an emotional, relational industry. There was no attempt to establish rapport, welcome me into the store, or in any way make me feel that my business was valued. In fact, my presence was treated as an annoyance and inconvenience. From the 2 locked doors, and the "Rob someone else" sign and the "if we are busy you'll have to make an appointment or wait sign", to the lack of welcome or even a simple hello, it seems like clients are an unwelcome presence. However, based on the giant "We buy Gold" signs, their money certainly is welcome. Perhaps you could just put out a collection plate or hire a robot since personal interactions are not something you are willing to invest in order to gain business.

They're right across the parking lot from Whiskey River Tattoo and usually have a piercer from there attend and you can go there for piercing care and advise if you have issues so it's nice they're so close. I stopped in the store for the first time last week while in Red Mill and, although it's small, they had a lot of beautiful and quality diamond and gold jewelry on one side and some cheaper options on the other side.
