I ordered a half pan of macaroni and cheese. The pan was full, heavy and hot. To my surprise and embarrassment when I arrived to my engagement it was a pan of Kraft macaroni and cheese. Have to love the Bronx! The fact that this spot was open on Christmas Day was a blessing! My family and I took the risk of not cooking and ordering out instead. When I tell you we got so much food- delicious food at that- for a bargain! I had the ribs with their Moro, my partner had the chicken Mofongo and two chicken pastelitos, and my mom had the baked chicken special. The portions were fulfilling and seasoned just right. I ordered from ubereats, the delivery was fast and everything was still hot. I ordered Combo 1 which is the whole chicken with a large rice, medium beans a small salad and a soda. Because I ordered Moro they didn't send the medium beans, in my opinion if the customer orders Moro they should replace the medium beans with something els of the same value. I'm sad to say they get just 1 star because literally EVERYTHING lacked flavor, it smelled good and looked delicious but NO flavor what so ever I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! Fast delivery and food was great!! I came home from a long trip and was hungry for some dominican food. Original Brisas Del Caribe on Castle hill doesn't deliver so they recommend their sister restaurant Brisas Express. I will be ordering delivery from here more often now that I know!! Moved to the neighborhood in September and I am soooo happy I have Brisas Express as my go-to spanish restaurant. Their food is fresh and tasty. I have tried a variety of the items on the menu, from pernil to Bistec encebollao (Steak with Onions) to one of their breakfast items,Mangu. Delivery is always fast and food is always good. Their jugo de Chinola (Passion Fruit) is also amazing. Definitely should try it out if you are in the Parkchester area! read more

We ordered via Uber Eats. Order arrived late and the food was cold. Perhaps that wasn't the restaurants fault. However, the food was horrible. We ordered acapurrias and they were dry and tasted old as if the oil they were fried in has been sitting there for weeks. We threw them away. We also ordered the boneless breaded chicken chunks. They were bland and breaded with shake n bake. I thought we ordered Spanish food but ok. The tostones were soggy but tolerable. The rice and beans were decently seasoned and tasted good even though they were cold. We probably won't be ordering from here again. read more

Although the food is really good, their service sucks. I have been there a few times and I notice that patrons that speak Spanish get waited on faster than those that do not. I was looking to get my pork on, and lo, there it was, windows all steamed up from the massive trays of meat and stews. Brisas Express has the typical Dominican Brisas (Cuchifrito) menu. You can get one of three different kinds of rice and beans on the side, or like me, with boiled yuca and green banannas. The pernil was beautifully done, with crispy skin and tender meat. While a little underseasoned, the meat is so succulent a bye is given. I wish I could say the same for the alcapurrias, which were a total dissappointment, gummy, chewy flavorless orange colored mounds of monotony. Boo! read more

They are normally good and i have had their pepper steak before but this time it was terrible somebody messed it up and put wayyyy too many olives or something in it. it was just disgusting I could not eat it and on top of that i called back letting them know and they told me no its good basically my opinion doesn't matter.
