I've had this restaurant saved for a long time. The sandwiches were different and worth trying. I got a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato, and it was delicious. The service unfortunately was lackluster. Maybe next time it'll be better.

I was in the area so I decided to try again and was able to get the French toast, which was quite good. The coffee and eggs weren't anything special but it was fine. I would probably return for the French toast.

The Dirty Bird chicken sandwich

Stopped in for lunch today. The owner suggested a new item to try; The Dirty Bird chicken sandwich, comes with a citrus slaw made fresh in-house and delicious serrano pepper aioli. Very good, would order again.

Banana Pudding

Got the basic breakfast and it was basic, which is good since that's what I was looking for. Next time I'll try something else. Banana pudding was really good. It's big portion so plan on sharing one for two people. Very busy during lunch. Good place for a casual get together.

Asian Salad

Excellent food and very kind service. We had juice, coffee, fries, the Upstream, Asian salad, and side of roast vegetables. Everything was just wonderful. The Upstream has definitely inspired me to go home and make my own salmon salad. What a fantastic idea. And I especially enjoyed watching our server make the Asian salad in a giant bowl basically right in front of me behind the counter. Prices are moderate but totally expected for the quality that you get. And I loved the ambiance and decor. Such a nice inviting vibe. Highly recommend.

Old dirty B with Argentinian chorizo

Mother's Day was great, coffee, breakfast burrito with Argentinian chorizo, called Old Dirty B, amazing! And super cool DJ on the patio keeping with chill Sunday morning vibes. Loved the experience and great craft beer selection as well. The place and staff don't leave anything for chance. Very impressive

Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and food was great. Great place to come and chill out for lunch.

I had the Old Dirty B wrap. Loads of filling in the wrap: eggs, potato, Argentinean chorizo, cheese. Came out piping hot that I couldn't hold it. I decided to eat the Caesar salad while I waited for it to cool slightly. It came with a side of sauce which I wasn't sure what it was but it had a nice kick. It might be their Serrano pepper aioli. So much food I couldn't finish it! You can serve yourself water and even bring a pitcher of water to your table if there's a larger party. Hipster place with modern decor.

I had a great lunch at Mamón. They have a large selection of sandwiches. The price was fair and we will definitely be back! Check em out

DIRTY BIRD w/ breakfast potatoes
Damian S.

Went on a mid-day Saturday, a good amount of people and greeted nicely wanting to start a conversation. Was new so took a while to check out their menu, everything looked so good with so many options so asked for help. They were very patient and told me go for THE DIRTY BIRD w/ a side of breakfast potatoes. Let me tell you one of the best Chicken sandwiches I had, and it was enormous definitely worth your buck. The breakfast potatoes were good but the homemade sauce that came with it made them 10x better. Also had gotten one of the in house ipa which was actually really good. There is lots of seating the decor is nice, it gives off neighborhood diner, everyone friendly and nice.

I was skeptical. I was wrong. Excellent pork sandwhich. Spicy and not too large but delicious.

Dog friendly outside seating?

There are outdoor tables, I assume so since everywhere else with outdoor tables don't say anything about dogs.

Can I bring my 12 year old?

Absolutely! I think he might get a kick out of the owner. The guy is VERY friendly and a talker. Makes everyone feel like they're in his home.

Good for gluten-free eaters?

Yes. All soup is gluten-free and delicious

What does Mamón mean?

Mama's Boy! It's a term of endearment my family uses for the boys in our Family.

Quality/Quantity: The food here is sooooooo good. We had a pretzel which was the greatest ever by a mile. It was buttery, salty, and soft. World's greatest pretzel for sure. Also, got the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich which was delicious. We also got a burger that was cooked perfectly and served brioche bun. Lastly, we had the brownie with ice cream which was also amazing. Overall the food was really tasty. The serving sizes here are really good. Value: Pricing seemed very fair to me. Overall: I'm a huge fan of this spot. I plan to come back and try their breakfast which is on Sundays. They have a lot of additional unique and fun activities here (see picture). Very cool ambience here folks. Can't wait to return.

I came on a Saturday night and was very busy so we had to wait in line for a while, but our food came pretty quickly. I got the turkey bacon, avocado sandwich, and it was delicious! The one thing that I was kind of surprised was that they did not have fries as a side you get chips for the side so that was kind of a negative, but not a bad thing My husband ordered the burger and he said it was amazing as well! The ambience is super fun, we were watching game seven of the Dodgers and that was really cool. I will definitely be coming back!

It was a Saturday, so I grabbed a Patty Melt with a side of crispy, fresh fries. Had them spiced and made good use of the Cajun spice shaker--no regrets on the extra shakes. I'm still a moto rookie, so I stuck with a fountain drink while watching the steady stream of bikes roll through. Good timing (Saturday): they had a six-piece live band playing at noon, and they were seriously talented. The crowd was a true mix--all types, all walks--some smoking twisteds, cigarettes, and stogies outside (fair warning on the smoke). That said, there are plenty of spots if you're looking for a quieter, smoke-free place to hang. Definitely take a stroll around--there's a lot of cool stuff to check out. No bike? No problem. Everyone's welcome here, not on wheels...no problem, and people are friendly as long as you're not a jerk. Come, enjoy, and soak in this iconic place. You'll be glad you did. And if nothing else, it's an experience--maybe even a bit of a people zoo--in the best possible way.

Our bartender, Tami, was awesome -- super attentive, friendly, and made sure the drinks were poured just right. Prices were surprisingly reasonable too. We ended up hanging around for lunch. I wish I could give less than one star because of the girl working at the bar on 3/14-3/15. She refused to give me her name for this review. I understand that everyone wants to go home, but if the bar closes at 2:00 AM, then staff should be prepared to work until at least that time--not start rushing people out at 1:30 AM. I used to work as a bartender and waitress myself, so I understand how the job works. But if your closing time is 2:00 AM, then that's the time you should actually close. Anthony gave his name and was nice, but the girl... she was extremely rude and honestly does not belong behind the bar. We got there at 10:30 PM, so it's not like we showed up last minute. Overall, the experience tonight was disappointing.
