The Pad See Ew is alright, not as good as other Thai restaurants that I have tried elsewhere. I liked that the noodles were long and thicker than most Pad See Ew's however it was a bit undercooked. Got chicken as my choice of protein and it was overcooked and extremely dry, should've gotten the beef instead. The dish wasn't overly bad, but I personally wouldn't get it again. I'd be open to try the other dishes though. Got the egg rolls as well, and it had way too much breading and the meat egg rolls had a bit of a curry taste to it, which was interesting. The beef noodle soup was absolutely transformative! I got mine 'hot' and that was plenty of spice. They also have a seasoning bar: get some garlic oil and dip the broccoli in it - you'll be taken to a new galaxy. They do a MONSTER lunch business. Also: HUGE servings. Very good flavor with decent portions, nothing huge. Fairly small location, with limited hours, clean with a few tables for inside seating. Restaurant staff was very nice and accommodating while very busy for takeout. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table quickly. Mam's is always very good. I had the Pad Woon Sen today for the first time today. It was great. What I love about Mam's is everything I get from the classics to the "not so common" dishes are all really good. Nice mix of veggies and had the crunchy noodles as a base which is mandatory for my wife's tastes. They also served us a basket of fried wonton wrappers w a dipping sauce. You can still get hot-n-spicy without scorching your tongue out. The focus is flavor, the umaminess from the herbs and spices they use! You'll always get very balanced flavors no matter what you order.
