    Chicken Tikka masala naan-lupa, omg
    Liz P.

We got Doordash from this place yesterday and their menu is super unique! We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, some naan, and four naan-lupas (yes, you read that right - like naan sandwiches). Paneer, but unfortunately chilli paneer is what showed up; chicken tikka masala, which was great; curry chicken, which I also liked; and Manchurian cauliflower. All of the sandwiches were a bit spicy, as was the cauliflower appetizer, but my chicken tikka masala sandwich was mild, as I had ordered. There was a mixup and we received a chilli paneer sandwich instead of paneer, so that was too spicy for me. The cauliflower sandwich was surprisingly tasty too. The garlic naan was also delicious. Definitely would order from here again and next time I'd throw in some mango lassis as well.

Wide open place. The Chinese zodiac is our placemat. One free mama roll with a check-in here. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest or warmest. We ordered the cauliflower gobi manchurian, chicken butter masala, veggie malai korma, avocado mama dilla, Chana masala, all medium plus spicy and garlic naan. Forgot to ask for the gobi manchurian to be crispy, it's soft, wilted and quite soggy. Tastes okay, spicy. The avocado mama dilla was yummy. Tortilla is nicely toasted. The creamy chipotle sauce with the avocado is delicious. The chicken butter masala is good, nice flavor profiles, creamy and spicy too. Chicken chunks are a tad big. The Chana masala is different here, sauce isn't so thick, it's more of a dry Chana. It tastes different with the red onion, tomatoes, almost tastes like a pico atop it all. It's so-so. The veggie malai korma is also okay, not my thing at all. Korma sauce here isn't for me. The garlic naan wasn't bad.

Indian and Mexican mixed cuisine. I got to give it a try!! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The server/attendant, knew exactly what I wanted and tweaked to my desire. I like my biriyani moist with more masala but not hot (spicy). He delivered as requested. Paneer biryani - amazing vegetarian option. Served with raitha and Salan. 5 stars for just this. Friend ordered bejawada biryani. He loved that as well. But he thought it little dry for his desire. But that's the style of that dish.. he just did not know. Now to the Mexican Indian fusion.. meh.. good try but definitely needs some refinement to be a success or hit. I just tasted couple of their indoMexican items the Manchurian roll and which was way too creamy and a rotito.. again good try but not that great. The place was kept clean, its all the way back in the corner of the strip mall. Plenty of parking..

Mamaeatz is a restaurant with a lot of promise: trendy feel, the concept is a fusion of various types of cuisine, and based on the menu, it seems like there's a recipe for success. However... in reality the execution left a lot to be desired. Mamaeatz is located in the heart of Farmington Hills, which is a double-edged sword because FH is home to a huge Indian Diaspora. Let me explain -- Mamaeatz's core menu is based off of Indian food items, and as a result, there's a huge market in folks looking for good quality Indian food... however the standards are also high because there are a ton of great options in this area! This is likely why Mamaeatz went for the fusion route as it adds a differentiator to all of the traditional Indian restaurants in the area. In the time of COVID, convenience is a big priority and Mamaeatz does well in this area. They offer ordering via phone for takeout, and offer curbside pickup as well. Just call when you get to the restaurant and someone will come by with your food! The process is a little clunky, but no major complaints, I know they're still working through it! Now for the not so great part... at face value, the food seemed like it'd be great. Good visual appeal, and the aroma was on point! However I knew things were off when I bit into the first Vada and the inside was mushy...completely undercooked. I figured maybe it was just a fluke, but nope, I saw the same issue on the next one too! On top of that, the Chicken 555 was also undercooked! Flavor profiles were just right, but the undercooked nature of the dishes made it impossible to finish them. The Biryani was cooked to a good level, but the flavor left me wanting more. On the plus side, the portions are ample and it's not expensive for what you're getting. Unfortunately I think Mamaeatz has yet to reach its full potential... I'd consider stopping by the restaurant sometime in the future when they've worked out some issues, but as of right now, I'll be going to other Indian restaurants in the area.

    Chicken biryani was fantastic

The dining experience was a little odd, the space itself is a little odd, the service was odd but the food was great. I had the chicken biryani it was fantastic. One of the best I've had.

Ordered to go chicken biryani value bundle. Order was ready on time. This value pack is little different from couple of other which offer family pack biryani tray. It comes with 2 biryanis, 1 appetizer and 1 dessert. You can choose the appetizer and dessert while ordering in mama eatz whereas other restaurants provide no option. Thats the good part. Chicken dum biryani and special chicken biryani both are okay. I felt the little spicer even I mentioned medium spice level. Chicken 555 was too saucy. I didn't liked that much.

Mamaeatz is THE MOVE! I had the paneer tikka, mango lassi, pakora, samosa, and garlic naan and all of them tasted fantastic. Amazing service, we were seated quickly, quick orders and great recommendations, and our server was super kind! Overall a great experience and I'd highly recommend their paneer tikka and samosas! With every bite I just wanted to eat more! The paneer dish also came with a serving of rice which was An added benefit. All the food tasted great ALSO, if you're looking for good Indian take out, the value bundles give enough food for ~3 people and is pretty cheap!

Hakka noodles, egg fried rice n veg manchurian balls!
    SG G.

Was craving indo Chinese..but at other places they make the hakka noodles mushy n overcooked...here it was simply delicious with a lil bit of that wok hay flavor..yumm ..fried rice cld b a tad bit softer but was delicious ..the veg manchurian balls were ridiculous..huge( altho yummy) potato balls..shd b smaller n made of cabbage n veg..also shd have...lots of a dark sauce infused with garlic n ginger ..came home n made the manchurian sauce..n enjoyed those veg balls anyway!! Portions were great..no complaints..excellent cust svc on ph..def b going back for more..

Mysore masala dosa, lentil soup, coconut chutney, and peanut chutney. With paratha in the background.
    Hope D.

I was having a terrible day, had just gotten a speeding ticket, my insulin pump was out of insulin, and I had missed lunch. So I was literally seething as headed in, hoping for some endorphins and comfort. And was wonderfully rewarded! The Mysore masala dosa with coconut & peanut chutney was the standout winner. More later on the lovely malai kofta, free! (Thanks to Yelp offer) chicken tikka masala roll, perfect paratha, yummy lentil soup, and bonus chai that they initially said sadly they did not have.... But halfway through the meal, they came out with a cup they made just for me! My jangled nerves were soothed, my seething turned to joy, and I now have at least several more meals of food to take home.

The quality of food has completely deteriorated, their service is absurdly rude, and it is a total and utter SCAM! I know some places are lacking workers, they are family run so it can't be excused that they are horrible. Items have gone up $2-$3 a piece compared to what is shown, so you don't know until after you get home ordering carry out that we were not only charged for what we ordered. They forgot to put the kimchi in the kimchi fries! PSA - always check your receipts before taking your carry out all the way home. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. I would recommend you don't go there either.

The online ordering system was simple and even though I had intended to go down the bulgogi route, I ended up with a sample of good-for-the soul food. I'm talking about chicken wings, dumplings, Korean corn dogs, and Bulgogi and spicy pork tacos. Yes, I was in for a feast. The chicken wings in soy garlic sauce were phenomenal and rivaled any offering from wings-only places. I loved the large, meaty, crispy wings. Had my friend and I stumbled across this place as part of our Fried Chicken Odyssey, we would have been truly satisfied. The tacos were outstanding as well. The flour tortillas were a perfect foil for the tender beef and spicy pork fillings. The sauces complemented the meat and veggies; I would definitely reorder them in an instant. Now, for the less stellar parts of the meal: the vegetarian dumplings were more like baos. The bread part of the dumplings was okay, as was the filling. The Korean corn dogs were missing the sausage. Instead, it was only the cheese that was lightly battered, deep-fried with a sprinkle of sugar. I do want to emphasize that the corn dogs were well-prepared, crunchy, and well-seasoned - but I was really looking forward to the sausage. I was heartened to see that take-out was brisk. The staff in the kitchen was working furiously and quietly.

I ordered the hibachi bowl with chicken and steak, and both proteins were extremely overcooked--well beyond well done. The steak was tough, and the chicken was dry, which really took away from the dish. The chicken fried rice were just okay, nothing memorable. The yum yum sauce was also disappointing; it tasted like a knock‑off version and lacked the flavor you'd expect. To make matters worse, I had a slight stomach ache for most of the afternoon after eating. The atmosphere was another drawback. It was very loud inside, likely due to the high ceilings, and the music was blasting to the point where it was uncomfortable. That said, I'm not writing this place off completely. I love hibachi, and the concept is right up my alley, so I'm willing to come back and give it another chance. Hopefully next time the food and overall experience are better.
