Weird unprofessional email from who I presume is the owner after asking for a justified refund.

Terrible experience! I would prefer to give it no stars. I scheduled a tea for myself and my mother in advance, one omnivore and one vegan. Upon arriving, I confirmed this with a member of staff. We then waited at least 30 minutes before being asked what tea we would like and the server discouraged us from ordering too many as to not make it difficult for her. We then did not receive refills to tea, or additional items until we had been there for over an hour. We received fruit, then later soup. I received the Indian curry soup. The base was good, but the chickpeas on top were so hard I couldn't even bite into them. After our tea had gone cold, we finally had another member of staff come to assist. We asked when our food would arrive, he said shortly. He refilled our teas and poured "fresh" cold water on the side for drinking, mine was white and clearly dirty, so he refilled. After repeated asks of when our food would be done given we (and the only other party there who arrived before us and also repeatedly expressed concern) had been there for over two hours, it finally came out. Neither were vegan, it took an additional 30 minutes for the vegan meal (which a member of staff had to ask what vegan entailed). It was not much food and I'm not sure if it is the full vegan offering. One of each of our meals was a sandwich square that was pb&j and olives/roast beef - inedible. A member of staff told us this experience was not typical, as the entire experience should only take two hours for completion, not items coming out after two hours. I asked for a refund and was denied. I was offered a partial gift card and repeatedly given excuses after ongoing back and forth. I was more than happy to settle this matter privately but this was unacceptable. I have been to number of establishments for tea and never had this poor of a service. Would have loved to patronize this establishment and would have considered returning, however, the poor service and response to my valid complaints is disgusting. Reported as fraud to my credit card!

Me and my family went here couple days before valentine's day, Very akward experience. The business owner, was rude to employees. They didn't have the little papers to put the chocolates in, and the employee helping us was extremely under trained. However, I ordered a honey black tea and it was very good! it had a very nice vanilla taste. Yea i don't recommend going here, Very rude business owner.

Service was stellar and I had an opportunity to meet the owner Anne, who was kind and accommodating.

B'Lynns is somewhat new (I think the Grand Opening was December 2020), and there wasn't much information available online, but that only intrigued me all the more! The location is off a one-way street, so I parked near the bitty downtown area and walked there, but I think I might have seen parking behind the shop, just don't hold me to it! Inside, shelving displays a variety of treats: barks, chocolate bars, brittles, pralines, chocolate covered pretzels and more, plus plenty of pre-packed boxes with mixed truffles and/or bon bons. I saw the later in a case, so inquired if I could build my own box, and happily did! All chocolate shops should allow this, but you'd be surprised by the many that don't. The lovely proprietress was so much fun and incredibly patient as I mulled over all the delights. She was also incredibly generous, allowing me to sample a couple goodies I was unsure of. I was most surprised by her cherry cordial. While that is one of only a few chocolates I generally eschew, hers was lovely with a thick chocolate shell, and no icky artificial flavors. I ended up with a box of 15 (which I embarrassingly finished off in just three days), and everything was wonderful, though I have to say the truffles stole my heart. While the bon bons are beautiful (and still delicious), for me nothing can compare to a well-made truffle, which is just what these were. Prices are in line with similar shops, and while my focus was on the gorgeous and tasty chocolates, if that's not your thing there are so very many options of sweets here. Pair that with a small local business deserving of support, and I bet you'll find B'Lynns would make an excellent spot for some holiday treats this year (and all the time!).

It's always empty here in Beaverton for a reason. Hillsboro…read moreand Lake Oswego... read up. This is a biz model that you will see through. From bulks tea to repackaging. Marketing at best- designed branding and upscale look. That's how they can charge triple. Profit margins of middlemen example. Their tea from Africa is probably the best gimmick here, note: order extra hot (which you will get lukewarm) don't order cold it's horrible. Anyhow we are tea drinkers in nature and didn't get any sense of aroma. It might taste better if you fool yourself that the owner isn't American, up to your judgement ;) I know because I have good friend from Kenya. Many authentic women/minority for good cause out there that you can prove. Gimmicks are everywhere be careful. My recommendation for loose tea to take home; Tea is originated in Asia- here in Beaverton there are great options 1. Asian market for Oulong, Jasmine, Puerh, or 2. Apna Indian market for Chai, or 3. Uwajimaya for authentic matcha, Genmaicha, etc. Educate yourself go get a real deal. You pay a lot less for good stuff plus organic options, get air tight tin containers from Michaels, best consume within a year. And honey from farmers market is real local. Don't be fooled. Talk to the people who make things, not the repacking business. Afternoon tea? Invest in a set of tea pot, order British earl grey, grab pastries from New Seasons and do better yourself or if you have a lot of money left grab a flight to London, skip the fake expensive ones. Warn you.

Their sign said they had hot chocolate and tea, and I thought to myself: ... who can say no to that? The first impression of the shop was good. It was cute, clean, and spacious. On one wall you got array of tea on display, and on the other side you have the tea station along with a chocolate display case. Anne (with an e!) was there to greet us. She briefly introduced herself and explained what they had to offer today. Unfortunately the chocolates were very popular, so the case was a bit empty and we didn't get to try them. We ended up getting two Lavender Fog lattes and they came in super cute pink cups. My cousin was really impressed with the foam on top, since it was super fine and she just loved it! I also enjoyed my London Fog as well. However, If I can give one bit of feedback, I'd love to be able to control the sugar level. The tea latte was good, but it was so sweet that it muted my sense of taste a little. I understand that everyone has a different preference for sugar level, but I have been on a low sugar diet for years. So I think it would be very beneficial for a customer to order full/half/low sugar to their individual tastes. Otherwise the tea latte was nice and warm, and the flavor was enjoyable. Personally I'm very interested in doing high tea with my girlfriends. It sounded like it'd be a fun experience. Also from what I'd heard from Anne, they serve sandwiches, treats, and chocolates, soup, salad and unlimited tea. I don't know about you, but that sounds like a dream to me! If I ever try their high tea, I'll post about that experience too. Like many reviewers have addressed, this shop opened during the height of COVID. Anne told me it was (and still is) really stressful and difficult to keep the business going. So, if you are into tea, chocolate, good company, and/or supporting black owned businesses. You should definitely check this place out!

We did the classic tasting without any add-ons except for mimosas while we were there. The highlights? We were raving about the vanilla scones (so simple, so good!), the meat pie, and the tea sandwiches. Every tea we selected was delicious and the pomegranate mimosas were a highlight for all of us. I encourage leaning into the theme, get dressed up, wear a fascinator, and fall into wonderland! Notes: reservations are highly encouraged due to limited space, so definitely make sure you reserve ahead of time! Allow extra time for parking - this is in the heart of downtown Beaverton and may require a little bit of a walk, but don't let that discourage you, keep circling and you'll find something, or settle for a nice little jaunt and enjoy the charm of downtown Beaverton.

We were in on a Saturday afternoon and nearly every table was occupied while we were there, yet it felt like we were the only table. The setting is very cool. There's so many hidden gems as you look around the space. Even down to their dinnerware and teapots. Each one unique and fun, enough to generate table conversations. Our server, Joey, was fantastic! He took the time to go over his favorite teas and answer any questions we had about ones we were interested in. I'm not a huge tea fan and I really enjoyed the one I got (birthday black tea-decaf). The food was so yummy! Our party were all so excited to try everything. The vanilla scone was the standout for me, but I did truly enjoy everything. My only caution is that parking can be a bit of a headache in the area so be aware ahead of time, but do not let that stop you from making a reservation for afternoon tea, it's worth it!
