I figured it would be a nice place to see the sun set. I was still kind of full from lunch so ordered some appetizers. The Charley's Duo Wings (spicy BBQ and buffalo style) were okay, not great. The Triple Cheese Toast was cheesy but a bit salty (I ate one slice because I was full). The service was great ... there were three servers and they were constantly asking me if everyone was okay and if I needed anything. When I left, the pub was about half full ... it looks like a popular place.

We expected a nice meal of fish and chips until the 1st 25 person tour showed up and started taking all the chairs. We were handed menus and the server walked away to go service the tour group. They were given a mini soup cup, half a biscuit and they moved along pretty quickly. Our order was taken and then shortly after it was put on the table with no eating utensils or condiments. We asked for both and got silverware. We asked for malt vinegar and it was brought to another table and we got nothing. The food was very greasy and basic because it had no seasoning on the fish or the chips. The cole slaw was good, the tartar sauce was not fresh made and it was a tiny portions. The chips (fries) were cooked well but needed salt and we got none. I would not return here again nor would I go to their food truck that is at the port area. It was over priced and the service was poor.

The server brought the miso soup quickly, followed by the sushi dishes. The portions was quite large: the California rolls were overstuffed with filling, and the fish on the nigiri were two-biters (my apologies to the sushi purists, but I couldn't get these in my mouth in one bite). Even the miso soup came in a larger-than-normal bowl (maybe it's a normal Canadian portion). Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
