So many people are getting confused thinking they are still located in Vermont. (By the way, in order for me to post this I need to give it a rating based on the last time I visited their bakery. I was not impressed with their staff...very rude & noncompliant to their customers. Their products were tasty but not the drive or cravings to go out of my way for.

I wish I didn't have such a bad taste in my mouth, literally. A week ago I walked over for a breakfast sandwich, the kind one would hope someone couldn't mess up. I ordered the basic bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin. Inedible. How could this be? Surely I must be hyper critical, right? Well my English muffin was raw, totally under-toasted. And since it's an off-brand muffin (I assume) the raw taste was awful. Top this with one single piece of bacon and NO cheese (I don't know if it melted off or what, but only traces of it remained) and my simple breakfast was ruined. Now, nearly every single other review warns of poor service. I have to agree. It must pain this girl to smile. Why work in hospitality if you hate helping people? She was miserable. Not rude or anything, but clearly not interested in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Maybe this business is focused on the catering. But at the end of the day, I'm not going to waste my money on this dining experience, even if it is my only option available. Sad.

Ten Bends Beer is a craft brewery in Hyde Park, Vermont that produces small-batch ales and lagers. The brewery's name comes from a neighborhood in Hyde Park and the Lamoille River, which bends ten times between Morrisville and Johnson, Vermont. Ten Bends Beer's beers are inspired by the region and are made with creative experimentation and perseverance. I enjoyed a flight while here: Refractives White Grape: A Kettle Sour Beer with nice notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Tartness isn't too high, which allows some of the aromatic and subtlety of the grape to come through. Cream Puff War Peach: A Double IPA that is brewed with honey malt and lactose, fermented with Peach Puree, and then Double Dry Hopped. The lactose gives it a fuller mouthfeel and pulls out the orange julius, dare I say, peach julius, vibes of the beer. Not too sweet, but definitely on the sweeter side. Green Fountains: A Hazy IPA hopped with Cascade, Mosaic, and Strata. I get strong notes of citrus and pine, finishing with dank overripe pineapple. Dark Daze: An Imperial Stout aged in Whiskey Barrels. Lower in viscosity than a lot of barrel aged stouts nowadays, but beautiful dark cacao, espresso, and fig notes rounded out by vanilla and oak. ______________

The chocolate croissants are buttery with crisp flaky exteriors and rich chocolate interiors. We first discovered them at Stowe Farmers Market. Then discovered the loaves stocked daily fresh bread at Stowe Living and at The Commodities Natural Market. More recently we went to Hyde Park location to try their lunch sandwiches. The Turkey Bacon Avocado with cheddar cheese and pickled red onions is fresh, tasty, easy to eat - a favorite. Panuozzo is an interesting creation using sourdough pizza to wrap around fresh burrata, roasted garlic cloves, roasted red peppers and pesto - the burrata is super fresh and rich type of mozzarella but sandwich is very messy (both hands and face) and we reeked of garlic afterwards. Seriously, the garlic taste and odor built up and literally lingered for 24h - so make sure to share this with your loved ones so all of you are in the garlic group. We would order the Panuozzo again but probably leave off the garlic. Bahn Mi is an interpretation of a classic Vietnamese Bahn Mi - it is tasty but contained no cucumbers, less cilantro and pickled carrots/daikon plus the gravy made the bread soggy. It is still good and we would order again but ask for the gravy on the side as a dipping sauce. All 3 sandwiches were winners and we loved our food adventure. We were missing pickles from 2 of our 3 sandwiches but the 1 pickle we had was good. The sandwiches were hearty so we didn't eat the fries. We will be back and can't wait to try Reuben, cheese steak, fried chicken as well as dinner!

Workers were very friendly and welcoming inside. The inside had some bar seating and some table seating with someone playing piano. The menu has a variety of different sandwiches. I started with a hot chocolate and the elote dip. Hot chocolate was nothing special but was good on a cold day. The elote dip was delicious! Warm and cheesy! Yum! I then ordered the falafel pita. It wasn't my favorite. The falafel was crisp but I didn't love the homemade gluten free pita. It was not fluffy and was just kinda bland. The fries were made well! Thick and very crispy. Overall the atmosphere was nice.

So while on a trip and looking for a spot to grab some lunch naturally we ended up picking this spot. I've been aware of Lost Nation Brewing but it's been since 2016/2017 when I had a beer from them last. To start they have ample parking and have a nicely painted mural on the side of their building. They have an indoor section we did not check that out and instead sat at the bar in the outdoor section. How can you pass up looking into the kitchen and also the wafting scents of burgers, fries and everything else being cooked. Despite a chillier day than most we have had lately it was worth it! Besides their own brews they had guest taps, guest botttles/cans, and even some cocktails including some spiked apple cider for that fall feeling drink. For beer fans they even had a rotating Hillfarmstead DIPA for a guest tap. I ended up getting their Kolsch and my wife got their gose. Both very solid beers and worth grabbing. Food wise they had a couple burgers, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork, turkey sandwich, hot dogs, and some small plates. My wife ended up choosing the burger and I got their fried chicken sandwich. She enjoyed the burger and thought it was cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was delicious, the fact it was smothered in honey did make it a bit messy to eat but tasted so good! The fries we got were massive and well seasoned and the side of pickles were great too. Would be a no brainer to get either one again if we visit again! Bartender was friendly and we didn't wait long at all for the drinks or food! Well made brews paired along side delicious food, really what more could you ask for? If you visit during warmer weather it appeared they have a huge outdoor area further back than we were in as well! If you like visiting breweries add this to your list to check out!
