Everything was delicious!!! Cuban Sandwich was out of this world! Fries were crispy! Mango juice was fresh! Empanadas were the best! Not dry at all very juicy!

Located in Plaza at the end with lots of parking. Tables and booth seating. Lots of choices on menu. In for lunch on Sat. Able to be seated quickly as well as drink orders taken. Food was out quickly and good size portions. Ham Croquettes for App and Fried pork chunks were very good. Hot and tasty! Will be back.

Got to eat in the restaurant this time instead of takeout. It was just as delicious and it's a nice, big restaurant. Could accommodate a large party. The only this, our waiter was cold and didn't talk much whenever we said thank you and asked for something. Not sure if there was some miscommunication but after I had addressed it, he got really friendly after I said something. I appreciated that and I wonder if it was just an off day. Overall, we enjoyed our food. My ropa vieja was delicious!

Their menu is fairly extensive with so many options.

Mambos in my opinion is probably one of the best Cuban food restaurants and all of the STATE OF FLORIDA. My Cuban heritage is my résumé towards this claim. They have a Cuban deluxe sandwich that is unbeatable by any restaurant in either Miami or Tampa and this one happens to be located right here in Jacksonville. Their menu is fairly extensive and the choices are difficult to make because everything is delicious.

Nice vibe and lots of seating. Our male server was a bit brash with how he spoke with us but we were willing to let it slide and enjoy our meals. We will give it another try because the food was delicious.

RUN TO MAMBOS!!! OMGosh the food was absolutely delicious! I was actually upset that their black beans are better than mine. The restaurant is clean and the service is great and the ambiance is like walking into an authentic restaurant in Havana. We don't live particularly close, but we will most definitely be back!

All I can say is wow. Seriously some of the best Cuban food I've ever had . We order this for a DoorDash order for work and was blown away. Had to come visit the very next day and it's seriously so good. The restaurant is a great size for a busy weekend. Service was an A+. Overall ambiance is a fun vibe with Cuban music playing in the background. A new favorite for our family for sure!

My new go to Cuban meal is vaca Frita after my visit to Mambo's in Jacksonville. We stopped by for lunch based upon a recommendation of a friend. From the outside, it looks somewhat like a fast casual restaurant, but once inside the vibe overtakes you - with authentic Cuban music, mural artwork and the wonderful scents of Cuban food, the energy of the location abounds. As I shared, the vaca Frita was amazing, accompanied by rice and beans and sweet plantains. The rest of the group had picadillo, and pan con bistec y queso (a cheese steak), and all were wonderful. We finished up with a shared order of flan, which was tasty and well prepared. Service from Gisela was efficient and friendly. Pricing averaged about $30 per person all in, which was a reasonable value overall. For a wonderful authentic Cuban meal, you should visit Mambo's.

I decided to go here for lunch today on this rainy Florida day, being that I was in this location. The food here is always good. The service is always good every time I come here. I managed to find a parking spot upon arriving. Today I decided to order their Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was very good and toasted as well, and a generous portion size as well. I will return here again.

My mother in law had someone suggest this restaurant to her so we decided to give it a try for lunch today. It was a very good decision. The wall decor and music were fabulous. The menu offers plenty of appetizers, sandwiches, wraps and entrees. I opted for the Piccadillo. It came with rice and beans and plantains. Everything tasted great. My husband had Vaca Frita. He loved his dish. My mother in law had the steak sandwich. She also loved her lunch. We ended it with the flan, which was also delicious. Service was quick and friendly.

We had an awesome lunch here! Came here with some family when we were craving good Cuban food. The proximity to the Mayo Clinic is super convenient as well. We started out with some croquetas as an appetizer. These were really yummy, even without the sauce they came with, although the sauce was good too. For our lunch entrées, my brother and I took the waitress's recommendations. I got the croqueta preparada sandwich, which is a Cuban sandwich with croquetas in it too. I really enjoyed it, and the portion was very generous. I could've finished it if I was extra hungry, but the sandwich really could feed two people. I got yuca on the side, and I thought it was a little dry, but still good. My brother got the pollo de oro. It was really tasty, but the chicken portion was a little skimpy, especially compared to the portions of the sides they gave, and the portions of the sandwiches. The staff is exceptional. They had great recommendations, were very accommodating, and you can tell they have each others' backs. The locale is super cute with cool Cuban decor and old pictures of the staff. Definitely check it out!

I had the Lechon Asado, and the food was absolutely delicious, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was great as well. I was seated as soon as I walked in and given time to order, though I ordered right away. My drink arrived promptly, followed by my food just a few minutes later. The dining area was clean, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back!

Yes, we ate there last night and they had a notice on every table that they were renovating. I am not sure if they are open while it is being done. I apologize for not snapping a pic. I really didn't pay much attention to it.

To this day it's still probably my all time favorite event I've attended here as an Elite! BUT it was also just as great on my second visit around 6 months ago. Now enter Le Petit Paris San Pablo! I knew there were other locations of Le Petit, but this is the first time I've visited one of the smaller locations, which to my surprise includes a drive thru! I kinda wonder how well that works! We didn't do the drive thru on our visit - it was to enjoy the inside experience! This location is smaller in space than the Southside restaurant. There is nice table seating but realize it can easily get crowded quickly - I would guess mostly at lunchtime. Overall, counter and beverage/pastry prep area where you place orders is clean, organized, and though there area less choices on the pastry side verses the larger restaurant, they still have much of the great stuff here. I'll also give kudos on how the servers and prep team work hard to keep the restaurant clean and organized. I rarely take pictures of restrooms but even with a lunchtime rush on a Sunday, they still managed to keep the restrooms pretty clean and great in appearance. The cashier and servers were outstanding in their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and checking up on us occasionally. They took care of us when we had a couple of special needs as well. Being familiar with this restaurant, I knew exactly what danish I wanted. I took the blueberry cheesecake danish and my Dearest chose a pistachio danish. Those who visit Le Petit Paris MUST get a pastry when they visit! I think the cookies and pastries here are the best in JAX! And get the chocolate mocha latte with it! For the sandwich, I chose the steak sandwich. The dressing on this sandwich was incredibly good - I loved it overall. I will say one thing though - the baguette is difficult to chew and with relatively chewy steak, though delicious, it can be a battle chewing the food. I won't score down because this is the normal way the sandwich is created. However, I would only recommend that a sour dough option would be more visible on the menu, or inform people of this option when they order this particular sandwich or other baguettes. But there were zero issues with the salmon quiche! It was amazing!! Rich in flavor and a nice healthy serving. We have leftovers on both of these meals. With life being a little rough recently, it was good to get out and find a happy place for a couple hours! I will note here that the food and service is great here. But people should be aware that meals, among some other items, are pricey here. But for a special day, it was good to set that fact aside for a couple of hours. Visit this restaurant! Le Petit Paris is in my top 3 JAX favorites! Recommend: HIGHEST

We ordered a 12" Italian on white bread, grilled without tomato and split it. The bread was fresh and soft. I really liked the grilled Italian meats, Italian dressing, mayo combo. Actually, I think the one time I went when I was already in the area, they told me the coupon I had had to be used at dinner time. So, I ended up leaving. I finally tried this place over a year after it opened and I didn't find it to be anything too special. I like the fact that they had a number of chicken subs and I was torn between the chicken teriyaki and the steak bomb. I ended up deciding I wanted to try sort of a Philly cheesesteak and so I got the steak bomb without mayo. We also got a half tuna sub and a kids turkey sub combo. I was very disappointed by the cheesesteak. I'm not exactly sure what "bomb" means, but I was expecting it to sort of be bursting with flavor. It really had no flavor, despite visibly having onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and cheese. There was oddly a strip of bacon sitting on top (not chopped into the meat) , which was really the only component that added any seasoning as it was a little salty. I ended up having to put both ketchup and barbecue sauce on it at home to give it some seasoning. The tuna sub fared better, although it was a bit liquidy so the bread was soggy. The kids turkey sub combo was just that, turkey and white bread. The portion was very good though for a kids meal as it appeared to be an entire 6-inch sub and a small order of fries with a drink. that was definitely a good deal. If you haven't been, note that they only offer white bread, no bread, or sandwich toppings put on a salad All in all, this probably wouldn't be a place I would return to unless I wanted to try the chicken teriyaki sub. But I will say that the worker who packaged my order was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. I was a little concerned about the fate of this place as nobody was in there eating, but hopefully they are doing well.

It was a first time visit for both of us. I told the young lady neither of us had been there before and she offered to run through the menu for us which was great. I loved that. She described "The Peruvian" as (her words) "meat heavy". I've heard amazing things in the past about the Peruvian sauce, so that is what I landed on and chose to have it on their onion roll. Hubby went with the "Angie's Philly". I want to preface this with my husband and I had complete opposite opinions and you're going to hear about both of them. For me: When I heard the words "meat heavy" I did expect a larger than normal amount of meat, and maybe thats on me, or a lost in translation example, because in my mind this is not "meat heavy". HOWEVER, before you start angry typing, I REALLY enjoyed my sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and at one point (which I will touch on further down) I looked at my husband and said "Yeah... this is so much better than Larry's". I even put a little extra Peruvian sauce on it while devouring it. The bread was toasted perfectly, had GREAT flavor. I could have easily had a second (or maybe double meat? ) Anyways, zero co.plaints except for the lost in translation expectation. I hope that makes sense. Now, for my husband, who is extremely difficult to please. At first, when our sandwiches were delivered to the table, he was given someone else's sandwich and he ended up having to send it back and wait on his, while I started on mine. Whatever, mistakes happen, shit happens, and we weren't in any kind of rush, so no biggie. When his sandwich arrived and he began to eat it, he was disappointed. He said it doesn't taste like they season the meat at all and it felt bland. He noted that the cheese was melted on top and could have used more cheese chopped and grilled in the meat along with more mayonnaise. He's picky. About halfway though, he said he'd give it a 3 out of 5. Then began to finish the second half and apparently bit into some areas that were burnt and overcooked and dropped it to a 2.5. He said it wasn't bad enough not to complain or send back but not good enough to write home about. So that's the take for today's visit. We would both (especially me) try them out again in the future, and I personally can see why they're so loved.

It has a large menu with many sandwiches, meats, sausages, among other great stuff to choose from. Our first moments here began by just navigating around the restaurant to see what it was all about. There are large number of wine and beer selections. Though I abstain from alcoholic beverages, I would guess that most are of the European variety - they have beer on the tap setup across from the dessert counter. After the quick self-tour and a conversation with the manager, we lodged in our seats and got ready to order. I actually was hoping the cafe offered speciality coffee like a latte, but that was quickly dashed when the server said they only served regular or decaf coffee. Initially I was disappointed but ordered one anyway. When it arrived and I dressed it up a little with some Splenda and Coffee Mate, I found it to be one the best regular cups of coffee I've had in a long time. We took a while to order because it is a sizable menu. However, I was sold immediately on the Rueben sandwich selections and just need to pick one. I settled on the classic Rueben, which was a mix of corned beef, pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, a superb Thousand Island-type dressing on pumpernickel bread - it was delicious from start to finish! I will note that you can choose other breads and cheeses with the Ruebens. Some options may come at added cost. I'm glad it was large enough to take some home with me. My dearest chose the turkey Parisian. This was a splendid choice with a nice mix of excellent deli turkey, Brie, raspberry sauce, cucumber, and lettuce on a large croissant. Both sandwiches were more than worth the price of admission! Our server displayed excellent courtesy and care throughout our eating experience. I greatly appreciate the manager taking time to chat with me as well. I really felt good at European Street Cafe! With the fantastic artistry on the walls, the large setting of wooden tables and chairs well-spaced and well-organized on both sides of the interior has the look of a classic cafe that has been around for a good number of years. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a nice outdoor patio area not far from the entrance. I think I found a great place to visit when I crave a Rueben sandwich! This one today felt like a Time Machine moment for me as my mom made them like this when I was a kiddo! Thanks for making this visit special today European Street Cafe! Recommend: VERY HIGH
