Special with sausage. This tastes like happiness!

Exceptional service. Each dish was made individually. With love. The ambiance was lovely dim lights beautiful decorations.

    Hours on the yelp page

I'd like to give them zero stars!! Was looking forward to going here..arrived at 8:15 and the RUDE owner came to the door to say they are closed. My friend said that it said online they were open until 9:30. I looked and sure enough it says 9:30 online. So we went inside to double check and let him know and he was so rude to us. We ate elsewhere instead. At 9:50 on the way home I saw people still inside Mamma Rosa. I will not go there ever again. Also the parking lot is very small and good luck not getting hit! Photos will show the hours listed online!!

I saw Momma Rosa's on my way home from the Berlin Farmer's Market a few months ago and kept it in the back of my mind. Good Yelp reviews so we tried it for my (early) Mother's Day dinner. Super cozy and cute place. I loved the decor. I don't think that the staff was prepared for so many people on this Saturday night. They open at 5 pm and it was a mad rush! I had eggplant parm and it was very good - Joey, chicken parm - same! My daughter had gnocchi - excellent, and my son had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, also excellent! No salads with entrees was a small ding. I get that they were busy, but we felt forgotten. Barely even checked on. Meals are made to order, so be prepared to wait. Guess that's where the BYOB comes in - lol!

Eggplant parm- opinion was very delicious

Cute little place, got a seat right away, I think we may have been only the 2nd or third table for a Thursday night- the only tables of the night . Dinner portions are generous, I'll say that. But we were charged $19 for a beet salad- seemed steep. Also I ordered the veal Milanese- felt priced very fairly at $29- but added a side of spaghetti which came out linguine , no biggy - but the side was $12!!!? For pasta and marina? My opinion is similar to others- I'd go back if a friend wants to try it/go...but not on my need to go back for anything list

The food was so good, I couldn't even take a picture of the food before I ate it!!!! Amazing(:

Really liked this small quaint place. Little gem here in Lindenwold. Will come back and try everything (maybe a lot of things) off their menu which isn't too overwhelming. Was peeping at neighboring plates and the food looked amazing!

Quaint little restaurant with a small parking lot. We enjoyed the ambiance.

We came to Jersey for the weekend to go to Diggerland and my wife wanted Italian. I found this restaurant through Yelp and it got good reviews. We were not disappointed, either. We both started off with Caesar salads, which were huge and amazing. They were a lot more expensive than I expected, but very tasty. For the entree, I got the Penne Salerno, which had peas and crabmeat in it. Very good. My wife got the Linguini with meatballs and sausage. The sausage was incredible and the rest of it was cooked to perfection also. The bread and olive oil was also great. You could tell that the olive oil was top grade, not the weak stuff some chains use. For dessert, I had a Tiramisu, which came with strawberries and whipped cream and was amazing. My son had some French vanilla ice cream which was okay. If there was a downside to anything, the ice tea we ordered were canned Brisk teas, and cost us $3 per can. It's been my experience that most of the nicer restaurants have brewed ice tea rather than the cheap canned stuff. Not a deal breaker, though. We really liked this place. The food was excellent and the service was also spot on. I'd definitely go back.

New restaurant on the white horse pike across from the little tuna. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating. Decided to do takeout from there to give it a test run and was not disappointed. Went with the classic Italian restaurant test dishes, Chicken parm with spaghetti and Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a Caesar salad. Everything was fresh, hot and flavorful, food quality and portion sizes are right on par with their very reasonable price points. If I had to give one criticism, I think my only gripe is that bread bread didn't come with the takeout order, which is totally fine, if I had asked for it when when placing the order, I am positive they would have included it, outside of that, it was really great! They offered me utensils and such when I picked up the TO-Go order and were very quick. This is a really friendly experience with a nice family owned and operated restaurant. I very much look forward ordering again.

We started off with fresh bread, made in-house, and a bottle of wine from Saddlehill Winery. (They sell bottles from the winery up the road.) bread was nice and crispy. For appetizers we did the clams casino and calamari. The clams casino were loaded with fresh red peppers and bacon and had a great smoky taste. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had! They don't use batter for the squid and it was still so crunchy and flavorful. The marinara was exquisite. For entrees I had the chicken francese which was battered well, and had a tangy lemony taste. Served with snap peas and mashed potatoes. My friend had the chicken parm and the spaghetti it was served with, as simple as it looked, was phenomenal. The chicken parm was a classic and fantastic choice, served with a nice oozing amount of cheese. We shared the ravioli Di aragosta which was stuffed extremely well with lobster and crabmeat and topped with carrot sauce! The carrot sauce was better than I expected, very creamy and light. Definitely a unique time to try. We ended the night with housemade tiramisu and Italian rum cake. Both desserts were so moist and tasty, not overly sweet, and light which made a perfect post-dinner treat. We also sampled their housemade limoncello which was so smooth and lemony! Safe to say I was blown away with the food. Everything is prepared fresh here and you can taste the passion in the dining. The owners are husband and wife, and Mr. Fieni does the cooking while Mrs. Fieni does the baking. What a perfect team! I love the simple collaborative approach they have. To top it off, the service was incredible. We had people checking in with us all night and our server was so friendly and personable. The dining room is simple - that would draw attention away from the outstanding food and service. This is truly an Italian restaurant done right! I'll definitely be back!

I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the night. The restaurant was packed and tastefully decorated. They have a great signature cocktail list but I couldn't hear myself or anyone at my table. We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.
