Mammoth is a lovely place with extremely friendly service that provides a relaxed atmosphere and delicious craft cocktails to enjoy together with friends.

Finally got to try Mammoth Distilling! Lighting is super dark and the vibes are very chill - reminds me of Watershed in Ohio. We stopped in for a round of drinks - they were very tasty! Our group got the blueberry gin fizz (a perfect summery drink, we thought), a highball (light and reminded us of Japan), an old fashioned (can never go wrong with that), and the El Picante (spicy jalapeño but also had a light cilantro flavor which i loved). We'll have to stop in to try more drinks and food next time!

We have been to the Mammoth distillery in Traverse City, but I was t aware there was one in Grand Rapids. We noticed it was nearby and knew we had to at least have one drink. It was a bit later in the evening. They had a marvelous two person band playing and we loved the ambiance. The service and drinks were on par with what you'd expect if you've been to another location. Definitely plan to check it out!

I am thrilled to state that Mammoth Distilling has found another location to call home in the heart of Grand Rapids, nestled on the vibrant and upscale Wealthy Street. Mammoth stands out as one of the few spots along this strip, and indeed in the entire town, that warmly welcomes your furry companions onto their patio. Immerse yourself in a world of decadence as you indulge in Mammoth's meticulously crafted drinks. Couple that with unparalleled service and a serene patio ambiance, you couldn't ask for much more. Mammoth Distilling provided us a truly relaxing and sophisticated setting for us to enjoy a few beverages which was exactly what we were looking for!

One of the best gin cocktails I've tried! I loved the combination of flavors and the drink itself was strong without being overpowering taste-wise. Our bartender was kind and prompt and the ambiance was really lovely with moody lighting and nice interior design!

Taylor served us and she was so sweet! She had good suggestions and was patient. Drinks were good and strong. Space was cute with a good amount of seating. We will be back.

This was a really cool place to hang out at. I absolutely loved it. The ambiance was cool, clean, and was not overly loud. Their high chairs were SO comfortable; I'd give it 10/10 for comfort! Or maybe even 11/10! I want to sit on those chairs again. The service was quick. The menu was quite creative; I loved how they didn't just hit you with a thick menu of different drinks. I got the blueberry gin fizz and it was super delicious. The presentation of drinks were beautiful! I'd definitely come back here again. Really great place to go with friends!

It's fun to see new spots opening up on Wealthy Street, including Mammoth Distilling which opened in early November 2023. They have several locations, mostly in northern Michigan, and I think this spot will do well. Upon entering, I found the door opening towards a wall was a little awkward, but we were greeted quickly and grabbed a seat at the bar. The menu had 16 cocktails as well as spirit flights. Drinks range in price from $10-$16, with most being in the $11 to $12 range. We tried the whiskey tango foxtrot and the fall into winter. Both were very nicely balanced, with the whiskey tango foxtrot highlighting ginger beer and the fall into winter being a bit fruitier. We also tried a spirit flight, with their barrel aged gin, gin, bourbon, and cherry vodka. All were great but the bourbon was my favorite, super smooth and delightful. Definitely will be getting a bottle of that to take home next time (and probably one to give as a gift). The space is a bit rustic, with a different vibe than other cocktail bars in the area. I loved the comfortable seats at the bar with a foot rung that my short legs could actually reach. (It's the little things.) They have a patio in back that will be great for warmer months. No food is served here but they don't really need to with all the great local restaurants right in the area.

Mammoth Distilling has become one of my favorite places to be! The drinks are exquisitely crafted and taste amazing! Even when I never know what I want, the bartenders seem to know what I want as they create delicious drinks for me to enjoy. The vibes are absolutely immaculate. Euchre night on Monday, Trivia Tuesdays, and live music on other days... there is so much to enjoy in addition to the drinks! I can't wait to bring all of my friends to this spot when they visit Grand Rapids.

We didn't eat. Busy we drank!! We tried flights and had some cocktails. Great ambiance and beautiful people. This location has been open for only 2 years. Love the decor.

A great, new cocktail place along Wealthy! A cool, classic vibe that makes you feel fancy without having to dress up. We stumbled upon this cocktail establishment while looking for food prior to our comedy show on Friday night. While they don't serve food, you can order carry-out from look restaurants, like Zivio's. Their prices are pretty standard for a cocktail bar. We enjoyed their two versions of Old Fashioned (both were great!) and our friend sampled a flight of gin. Bartender was super helpful and greatly helped us with the menu, and our glasses of water were constantly being refilled without asking. Being along Wealthy, parking rather sucks, but eventually you'll find somewhere to parallel park.

They offer outdoor seating even in the winter, and while it is technically heated, you will still need a coat. It was cold enough that we chose to sit inside instead, but the interior was also chilly. Every time the door to the patio opened, a draft of cold air rushed in, which made the space feel colder than expected. The drinks are on the expensive side, but the quality mostly backs up the price. I ordered the Donna's Kiss and it was absolutely worth it, very well made and delicious. My friend had a Moscato that was sweet and easy to drink. We also ended up getting two free shots of tequila because they liked our vibes , which was a nice and unexpected bonus! Definitely a great move on their behalf because it just goes to show that the staff there were super welcoming and that makes me want to come back (probably when it's warmer!!).

I sat at the bar and was met with good but indifferent service. I stated with their take on a dirty martini, L'oro sporco, which was very well executed; the honey really balanced the brine. I order the bread, it was stale on the sides and crust but a day ago this would have been a well made foccacia. The whipped Gorgonzola was great. The octopus came next, it had a nice balance of acid, was well seasoned, but some octopus was very overcooked and rubbery. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy with great brown butter notes, however the guanciale was burnt to a crisp and affected the dish. The sauce and tapenade were great. Here's where they shined, the agnolotti - perfectly cooked pasta, nice acid, goat cheese and pea notes. The fried chips provided a really nice contrast to the pasta. The ramp pesto is delicious. The asparagus's and peas are flavorful and well cooked. I can't believe this came out of the same kitchen as the last pasta fish and bread. If they can fix a few easy cooking mistakes and have a more friendly front of house, Allora could be the top of the GR food scene.

At 9:10, we finally had a table! They did bring us complimentary prosecco since our table wait was 40 minutes past the reservation time. Our server, Levi, was phenomenal. He gave great recommendations and walked us through the menu & style wonderfully. Our food was also delicious. Nothing disappointed on the menu! All in all, the food was spectacular, the space is gorgeous, and service once seated was amazing. It was a hot day, but after work the patio was out of the sun, so we opted for a table outside. The patio is cute. I like that there are a bunch of 2 person tables rather than large party tables, and the lights are nice. Our server was very pleasant. She definitely knew what she was talking about and was able to tell us if something was going to be super sweet, and which drinks were more popular. Also, after she seated us and gave us the menu she gave us a few minutes and came back with waters and little samples of lavender lemonade, which was really good! I ordered the rosemary gin fizz, and my friend ordered one of the zero proof mocktails. She was warned it would be sweet, and she said it was definitely sweet for her taste. I was told my gin fizz was a little sweet as well, but I didn't find it to be overly sweet. I thought it was really nicely balanced, and wasn't excessive on any of the individual flavors. I was hoping for a little more of a salted rim, but it had more of a decorative salt patch on the side. That's the only thing I would probably change about it. Oh, and it's called a fizz, but is definitely still, not sparkling. While we weren't there to eat, and it is a distillery, not a restaurant, I did expect to see a few more food options. I can't knock them for that though, as we didn't try any. Overall, I would go back here for a quick happy hour or to have a quick drink again before an event. I liked the space, the service was great, and the cocktail was really pleasant.
