The food was good and flavorful, and it was also not super badly priced. They made my order very fast, and you can order at a screen, which is nice if you don't love talking to people. I can't comment on the place itself because I did take it to go, but it seemed okay and clean for the short time I was there. I would go again.

We ordered food to-go late night on a Saturday a few weeks ago. We got there about 30 minutes before Mamoun's was about to close. There were still a few customers eating inside this corner spot on Washington. The woman behind the counter who took my order was friendly, and she also asked if I needed sauces when she handed me our food. We devoured the side of fries in the car and ate our platter orders when we got home. They held up during the car ride. My chicken kebab platter was awesome, and my hubs enjoyed his falafel platter.

Perfect lentil soup on a cold winter day. Healthy and filling for a quick lunch. The dining room is clean and calm as well.

First time stopping by since my SIL loves this spot. Tried the shawarma and the grilled chicken signature sandwiches. They are served in a pita with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tahineh sauce. I wished mine had a bit more sauce (next time I'll ask for extra on the side) and a more lettuce. Just felt like a a lot of meat that was kind of dry. We also ordered a small hummus that came with a pita and side of falafel. Didn't love the hummus sadly but falafel was pretty good! They have alot of seats and I bet they do a lot of take out. Overall good spot! Would recommend the grilled chicken!

Can't go wrong with Mamoun's Falafel. When craving Mediterranean food, there are different options here to choose from, whether you dine in or take out. You have the option to order a staff member or self order at the front. I love eating the Chicken Kebab plate. You can modify your food in case there is something you don't want in your meal. Everything on my plate is tasty and delicious, I love their homemade pita dipped in hummus. The times we have come here, we usually dine in and finish our food later at home. If you need to have leftovers, I recommend no more than one day. Fresh is always better. Leftovers won't taste as good past the day. Service is good, and all forms of payment are accepted. Hoboken is horrible with traffic. Just be mindful of all signs. It's always a pleasure to come back to Mamoun's.

This place is worth the hype. The food is so simple yet delicious. The texture of the falafel is soft and not dry like most other places. The sauce has great flavor and the hot sauce is perfectly spicy. This is my first time trying it and I will definitely be back!

Got a vegetarian plate for delivery. I got the same plate previously from the East Rutherford location. Instead of the hummus I decided to go with Grape leaves. Last time I was I thought there wasn't enough rice, and this location gives you a good amount of rice. But the rice seasoning was not the same.

The best place to eat in Hoboken . Soon as I pull of the long road from New England this is my first stop legendary for the lamb Shawarma pocket hummus is amazing. The hot sauce is so hot that they can't put a lid on it because it blows up in the summertime. Add lemon juice and salt and Taziki my sandwich was so good. I forgot to take a picture of it I got overexcited. highly recommended read the reviews are more than sure. They agree. This place has been here forever.

We've had delivery many times--today I stopped in for lunch.

Since my first trip to Hoboken six years ago we've always ordered delivery from Mamoun's. Today I happened to be walking by at lunchtime so I decided to stop in. When you get to the counter you can order in person or from their touchscreen menus. I tried the touchscreen and it was slick -- especially since I was using my credit card. You can easily customize your order by selecting ingredients you do not want on you sandwich. After selecting your food, hit finish and pay, select a tip, enter a "name," swipe your card and it's done. My order was ready in a few minutes -- your experience may vary depending on how busy it is. There are plenty of tables if you want to eat on site. I opted for the Lamb Shawarma sandwich. The pita was stuffed with seasoned meat, lettuce, tomatoes and onions and topped with tahini sauce. It was a bit drippy (in a good way) so you probably wouldn't want to eat it walking around or in your vehicle. A refreshing mint lemonade complemented the sandwich quite nicely. My family in Hoboken are vegans so we usually order things like falafel, hummus, baba ganouj, and lentil soup, along with a stack of pita. Vegans and vegetarians will be pleased with all the tasty meatless options available at Mamoun's. BTW -- their Middle Eastern hot sauce is the best I've ever had -- but proceed with caution because it's ultra hot and spicy! P.S. I wasn't planning on it, but my daughter and son-in-law decided to order dinner from Mamoun's in the evening -- so Mamoun's twice on the a same day! This time I went with the "Manhattan Sandwich." All vegan, lots of taste and texture, and with some hot sauce a bit of a kick. I probably won't, but I'd do it again tomorrow!

I remember when i used to eat at Mamoun's original location in Washington SQ... It was amazing there. The meat was superb... But in here, it felt watered down. I ordered the shawarma and it wasnt that good. It was dry. They didnt pour much of the sauce, the meat tasted nothing, and it was filled veggies, and only few dices of tomatoes in there. I felt cheated for $10 on it. Disappointed! :(

This slaps. Very good and flavorful rice and falafel. Nice and helpful staff. Would 10/10 return back here

Great spot to have a lamb shawarma. I usually get it for lunch or after a happy hour in Hoboken. They're very generous with the amount of lamb given compared to the New Brunswick location. I usually order through the app 5 minutes before I get there and my food is ready for pickup by the time I arrive. They have a great location off 3rd street and plenty of seating inside, but parking could be an issue.

I need to know, what is the flavor profile of the hot sauce? I love my hot sauces, but this was all heat, no flavor, or the heat numbed my tastebuds.

Is this place halal?

In the "build your own" option, I committed to the curveball premise by choosing Mexi-hummus over regular. In that vein, the Impossible kofta seems a better bet than the falafel, but I was quite impressed with the walnut chorizo. They clearly did their homework toward emulating the original, as opposed to places that mash up some black beans and call it a day. Delivery was brisk.

I can't believe I've lived without this in my life for so long!!! I had the Moroccan soup that had a tangy tomato base with rice and chickpeas, mouthwatering falafel, miti miti (turmeric rice & baby spinach), black bean & yams, lentils & carrots, avocado aioli, whole wheat pita and last but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST cabbage salad . Don't get me wrong I do love my fruits and veggies, but I am a meat and potatoes kind of girl, and I can honestly say I didn't miss the meat at all. It was all incredibly filling and delicious. This is definitely my new go to spot!

Looking through the reviews here, the consensus seems to be 4 stars, but I'm gonna rate it 5 stars…read morebased on the 1 experience I had. Usually not something I'm overly comfortable with, rating a place 5 stars based on 1 experience...a food delivery experience as opposed to a sit-down dine-in experience, at that...but I was stuffed at the end of my meal, the price was more than fair, and the food was pretty damn tasty! At work, a friend/co-worker recommended this place, which I had never heard of. Usually, I can resist entreaties to order food to be delivered when I'm working, but I was coming off of a bad migraine, a negative reaction to the medication I have to take for it and was feeling pretty famished. I decided to give Tastee Platters a try. Looked at their on-line menu and gave my co-worker my order, which he was gracious enough to place (I detest the whole rigamarole of on-line ordering). The food arrived pretty quickly. I ordered the chicken platter, which was a large aluminum container of grilled chicken over basmati rice, served with lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions, a slice of pita, all of it slathered in white sauce. Maybe I was even hungrier than I had initially thought because I gobbled everything down to the last grain of rice. I also ordered the banana pudding, which was unusual for me. I like vanilla or rice pudding, and will even order chocolate pudding in a pinch, but I don't think I've ever had banana pudding. And I've got to say-- it was really, really good, smoothly textured and creamy. Maybe too good, as when I had finished everything, I belatedly became aware that I had consumed way, way too much food. Still, I think the 5 star rating is merited. The food was good and plentiful, I didn't pay a lot for what I ordered, and the ordering and delivery process was relatively trouble free (even though I had nothing to do with that process, other than telling my co-worker what I wanted and handing over my money). Personally, I can't eat like this too often. I'm still dieting (or trying to), and a repast such as this is DEFINITELY counter-productive to that endeavor. But I certainly can't blame Tastee Platters because I fell off the wagon when it came to dieting. And I can't say that I won't fall off the wagon again at some point in the future. Not too often, hopefully...but I'm a fallible human, after all! Recommended. Good food for a good price.
