Last week I stopped in for my first haircut with Ann. This being my first time there, I didn't know what to expect. I told her that as much as I would like to have a fade cut, I can't go that close, due to my hair transplant scars that run all the way around my head, including the sides. Ann said, "Not a problem. We'll only take it down to 6mm and that won't expose the scars" She was right! On my next haircut visit, she will also add some color to give this old guy a more youthful look! Thanks Man Cave. I am giving this 3 stars not for the quality of the haircut or the folks that work there. It's because of the owner and their greediness. Twice in less than a year they have raised the prices. And nothing additional offered. I go to a similar salon in Dallas and for the same price I pay here I get an additional facial and 15 min shoulder and neck massage. To pay $50 for a skin fade is getting a little ridiculous. If it wasn't for Ashely, I wouldn't come here. read more

We were visiting from Los Angeles and found Man Cave Salon on Yelp. My teenage son hadn't had a haircut in 4 months due to Covid and his wavy hair was messy and overgrown. Morgana cut his hair and is an amazing stylist. She was very friendly, patient and accommodating. All the stylists wear masks and the salon is brand new and super clean. The salon has a comfortable vibe for men of all ages with flat screens tuned to ESPN, leather sofas, and a retro music playlist. Update (changing from 1 star to 4 stars) Owner was really nice and called me to offer redo the cuts. Took son in, and owner fixed him up great. I won't be we going back, but I was very impressed with the customer service and offer to make things right. --------------------------- Went with son to get haircuts. $95 + tip for "detailed beard trim," "signature long hair trim," and "signature kids cut." 20 minutes in and out (the first time). I'm willing to pay a bit more for a great haircut, but this was standard, at best. I was so shocked by the bill that I looked up the menu and prices on https://www.mancavesalonlv.com/services. The services provided are not what is shown on the menu. Apparently, it's supposed to include services besides cutting the hair. Barber was cool and my cut looks ok, but I def would've gone elsewhere or been more picky if I read the prices first. Beard trim was solid, but the "haircut" was a quick scissor trim of ends of the back of my hair that took a couple minutes. Wife saw son's haircut when we exited Man Cave and initially laughed until I told her it was $30. She said we need to get it fixed somewhere because he had team pictures tonight, so I took son back in and explained to barber that the part usually goes on the other side because of a cowlick. It's not much better, maybe worse, now so I'll take him somewhere else tomorrow. read more

I used to love Man Cave salon and have been going to them since they opened. But they continue to increase their prices to the point I go somewhere else. I used to go every 2 weeks and in 2021-2022 their prices where $30-35 for a skinfade. Then they increased their price to $40 the next year, so I spaced my appointments further out every 3-4 weeks as it gets costly going every 2 weeks, then they increased it to $50 for a skinfade and I just stopped going all together. They are going to keep increasing their prices and next year it will probably be $60. If they grandfathered in those loyal customers or atleast offered a package deal discount I would come back. Otherwise I found a new place where I pay $25 and they do the exact same thing and all is well. read more

Great vibe. Friendly staff, and did a great job with my beard trim. They were nice enough to take me as a walk in on Saturday morning. The only downside was the price point for the service received which is partially my fault for not asking the price point when I got to the shop. I was in the chair for about 15-20 minutes to have my beard cleaned up and shave my head with clippers. The barber did a nice job but $65 for this which only took her 15-20 minutes to complete is a little steep. read more
