Had an entire drink spilled all over me and my table, which was just an accident, but not apologizing, not cleaning up the mess, and pretending it never happened is absolutely horrible service. I spent the rest of the meal covered in soda, eating off of soda-covered plates with drenched silver ware. To top it all off, the undercooked food made me and my wife sick. We had quite a few dishes with pretty mediocre quality. The white sauce dishes seem to be less greasy than the others. The basil chicken was good but could have used much more basil and spice. The sesame chicken and happy family were literally floating in oil. The soft summer rolls has shredded iceberg lettuce which I've never seen. Shrimp with lobster sauce has nice big pieces of shrimp. All the dishes had lots of fresh vegetables like zuchinni, brocolli and carrots and good amounts of meat, just too greasy. read more

My husband and I love this place! It's very clean and the service has always been freindly and prompt. Regardless of whether you eat in or take out, food is fresh and yummy. I have never tried their Chinese food, but their Vietnamese food is excellent. Try the bun xao. read more

I placed an order with Mandarin Cafe. Part of my order included Vietnamese Spring Rolls. They sent me Spring Rolls that were not just burned, but looked like pieces of charcoal. When I called the restaurant to complain, the woman on the phone attempted to convince me that that is how they are supposed to be. I told her this was not true. I had ordered this item several times before. She begrudgingly agreed to send me a new order. When I received the new order the spring rolls were once again burned through. I took pictures of them and would be glad to share what they sent me and what they tried to pass off as off as food. I want a refund for the rolls and the tip. I will never order from this restaurant again. They are not only nasty and have no customer service, but the delivery person is extremely rude. This is not a nice place. read more

I wavered between 2 and 4 stars...but 2 won out. First of all, it is extremely clean and they are very nice and friendly...those two things get a 5. Lunch prices are excellent...rice, main dish, eggroll, and soup for under $6, so prices are a 5. I dropped it to a 2 for a couple of reasons. We ordered our meals, 5 of them) to go for myself and several coworkers. I ordered the Vietnamese Ga Xao Sa Ot...chicken with three peppers in a lemongrass and chili sauce (on the menu as spicy) and hot and sour soup and white rice. The soup was standard Chinese restaurant hot and spicy...no complaints but nothing special...but the crispy noodles that came with all of our soups were so stale, you could almost bend them. All 5 packages went in the trash. The egg roll was hot and crispy, again, nothing special. The rice was cooked with no discernable salt...very bland. My chicken dish only had 5 very small pieces of chicken and two, not three, kinds of peppers...all waaaaay overcooked and no longer crisp-tender. The most disappointing thing was the lemongrass chili sauce. Although it had a strong lemon taste (good), it was extremely and overpoweringly sweet...with NO heat at all. I was all set for a spicy Vietnamese dish and ended up with something so sweet I felt as if I were eating a dessert. read more

We love that they have a Vietnamese section on thier menu and order Pho Noodle Soup on the regular from here; it is GREAT and they have a few different flavors...most of thier other food is pretty run of the mill Chinese, but the Vietnamese selections are obviously given more care. I ordered General Tso's chicken with extra sauce and fried rice. It was delivered fast and hot and the driver was very friendly. So I sit down to eat my dinner and the sauce on the chicken tasted like straight ketchup. So I called and asked them if it was possible to get something else the guy that answered said I'm sorry something must be wrong with the sauce. So I asked him if they could replace it with something else. He acted like I was trying to get free food or something. He refused to take blame for the food. Told me I would have to come into the store and make sure I bring in all of the old food and they would replace it. I called for delivery for a reason this is the worst place I think I have eaten at since moving to the area. I told them I would be in Monday with ALL THE OLD FOOD FOR A FULL REFUND. Received menu in the mail & the food was great, however, the portions were half the size of most restaurants. Huge disappointment. The container of Mongolian beef had half beef & the other half rice. I have been getting delivery here for 4 year. This last Friday was the final time I will be ordering from this establishment. I made a carryout order of boneless spare ribs and when i got the food home, it tasted burnt, but it looked fine. I call the restaurant and told them the situation. I was told I could come back to get my refund. When I arrived, I spoke with someone different. I explained my story to her and the employee told me I ate half of the meat!!! If anything, we ate 2 pieces. Why would I eat even a fourth of that burnt meat. I told her that it wasn't true and she said I pretty much lied to her. With this reason, I will not be going back. First time trying this place because we get their menu's all the time and our experience wasn't good. We wasted $30.00 for food that tasted gross. It was bland, tasteless and you can't compare any other Chinese place to this. My husband ordered the General Tso's chicken and it had a very strong and funny smell to it and the chicken was overcooked. The sauce didn't look like it normally looks and almost was in comparison to a paste. The steam dumplings lacked in flavor, the so-called fried rice is nothing, but rice cooked in soy sauce. When we called to complain the lady wanted us to return the food rather than refund us for at least The General Tso's chicken. What's the point of getting your food delivered? We told her we would go on social media and let everyone know about our experience, but she didn't seem to care. Next time we will order from a different place. I was craving pho BADLY! I did a search and found that this was the closest place, so I decided to try it out. I had the greatest difficulty trying to find the place, but when I finally found it, it was like the gates opened up for me! Lol. I wasn't expecting too much, since there were no cars outside and no customers inside either. I ordered the pho to-go and anxiously drove home to try it out. The broth didn't taste like it was homemade and they didn't provide Siracha sauce! They gave me chili garlic sauce instead.. which changes the taste dramatically. Sigh. Well, I might order from the Chinese side of the menu next time, since they deliver to my apartment and require only a $10 minimum. read more
