L23. Honey Walnut Chicken Lunch Special

They recently moved to a new location further south. The new restaurant is pretty modern, and looked clean enough. They cleared our table of the dishes that were there but didn't wipe it down. We did have to swap one of our spoons for a cleaner one when we unwrapped our silverware. The food was exactly what you'd expect from a local Chinese place. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. The honey walnut chicken that I got was good, and we did enjoy the egg rolls. The salad that comes with the lunch meal definitely comes straight from a bag, so maybe shoot for the salad. I would have liked to see more rice with the chicken, but maybe thats just the gym bro in me talking.

Happy family, without rice. Not much seafood.

A really fun dining experience! The Bo Bo Platter has a little grill upon which you can cook the little pineapple bits. The Happy Family entree is yummy. I've had some before elsewhere that tastes seafoody -- not this one. This place is highly recommended.

You have to order the Tiny Spicy chicken, and if you want to spice it up, the Bobo Platter. I've been coming for about 20 years, and the service was very good when I started, dipped a few years back but has got better as of late. The Cashew Nut Chicken is a good savory compliment to the Tiny Spicy chicken. We can get the family dinner and feed my small family. I only give it 4 stars because it is long overdue for an update, but the food is decent.

Service was excellent, staff were really friendly, and it feels like they care about their work again. The quality of the food is also nearly back to its peak! I feel like I can finally recommend HuHot as a decent dining option again!

My coworkers and I decided to try this place for a quick meal. There were 5 in our group and we…read morewere all impressed by the service and food. We were greeted warmly by maybe the manager who was very friendly. It was $18.49 for the Create Your Own Grill Meal, Stir Fry. This includes unlimited times to the grill. They had a great variety of proteins, noodles/rice and of course sauces. They had good signage on ideas on creating your own sauce. The food area was very well maintained, you can tell they stay on top of keeping things organized. At many of the Mongolian Grill's I have been to you can fill up your bowl only once so you fit what you can. Nice option to go back as many times as you want, although one bowl was enough for most of us. The cooks who you hand your bowl to, for them to cook are all great. They were pleasant and did a good job. The restaurant wasn't too busy but there were a couple of larger groups. Tables were all cleared off quickly by a busser who made his rounds frequently. It's a nice casual vibe with colorful Mongolian type decor. It worked well for a fun business dinner.
