I love Panda Express on Kauai, Hawaii - because they make the best food. So much to choose from and it's all fresh. Thats what I call oriental food. The service is fast there and the servers always with a smile, polite, sweet and fun to keep seeing them. As for the atmosphere; Kauai Panda Express is very clean, quiet and doesn't smell as bad as Utah Panda. I rate Kauai Panda Express in Lihue & Kapaa a 10 out of 10 and I would recommend anyone visiting Kauai to go and check it out. read more

Disappointed time and time again. service is very slow and they always run out of food items, always needing to wait. Please try to avoid going to this location or this restaurant in general. My chow mien could use a little more noodle and a little less of whatever else they put in it--but all in all, a fabulous lunch. The servers are always cordial, not too overly friendly, but it makes sense that they don't want to chat when there is a horde of people waiting to order. And the dining area could use some cleaning, but again, I just stick to myself, brush off the leftover fried rice from the homie before me, and scarf down my meal on a table in the corner. Food is delicious and as expected for PE, always a huge line here, they don't answer their phone, and often online or call in orders are late. Seems to be a lot of turn over at this location, and as a result disorganization in the kitchen. I haven't heard great things about the management at this location. Tasty, westernized Chinese food. Many dishes are on the sweet side, and often breaded and fried, just how we Americans like it ha. Flavors are better than a lot of our local fast food Chinese, and because of the large amount of customers eating here, food doesn't sit too long in the heating bins here and stays pretty fresh. I've always been a fan of their tangy Orange Chicken with that vinegar finish..Honey Walnut Shrimp is addictive at an added cost..Beijing Beef is spicy-sweet and very tasty. All entrees are good here, so you really can't go wrong. But I do not care for their bland rice much, or even worse their chow mein. Service tries to be fast, but they do not often succeed. Lines get long. And they aren't the friendliest bunch. But I've always enjoyed eating here. read more

The food is outstanding! The wait for it isn't though. I go there a lot, and every once in a while, its a good experience. But more often than not, I must wait 30-40min because of the short on staff. One person at register. One person getting Every customers order AND food in the plates, and two cooks. (I already have to travel 30min to just get to panda, so waiting another 30min just to have it in my hands is frustrating.) Because of the amazing food, many people come for it, which causes a LONG back up of waiting customers. I was at the front of the line for an hour once. THE FRONT!!! Would be 5 star if the staff was doubled. I recommend ordering over the phone to pick it up. Sometimes they'll have it ready for you first. Sometimes. Panda has always been a go-to for me. I've only had a couple poor experiences with the food, but there have been times the customer service has been lacking. Amidst the pandemic when restaurants weren't allowed to let customers in, the only way to order was by phone or online. Ordering on their app is simple enough, however the only way to notify them that you were there was by phone. It took them 40 minutes just to answer the phone by which time my food was cold. I understand how weird of a time COVID has been, but there has to have been a better way. I also wouldn't recommend going to this store at peak hours because there is a tendency for the food to be undercooked, an item missing from your order, or any other problem caused by a chaotic rush. read more

The new manager, Michael, doesn't know his head from his ass. There were 4 of us in the regular line, and 6 people in the online pick up lane, with one poor girl at the register. The manager would walk up to her and hand her something to bag....something he could have easily done or maybe looked at all of us in line, said sorry for the wait! Something. But nope. He did nothing except just get in everyone else's way and walk around like he didn't know what the hell was happening. I have never seen a Panda Express that hectic and disorganized, and it was only 4:45 pm. Our fried rice was nasty with no flavor and the chow mein was burned!!! I feel bad for the girl at the register, because her manager didn't help her at all. Then one of the other workers dishing out food forgot my husbands extra orange chicken and was making bedroom eyes at the manager while talking to another worker about her "cute friend." The helpings were large, and the lady not only smiled at me as she took my order, but she smeyesed me. Someone has been watching her Tara. The food was fresh (veggies are actually cut right there!), and the chicken tasted decent enough.
