    Cheese pizza

I ordered 3 cheese pizzas from mandee's last night, And had the worst experience with their pizza. It was like cardboard. I will never order pizza from this place again.

Consistent. Food is always good. A neighborhood staple. The menu is on the fridge. Perfect pizza crust!!! Very prompt delivery.

This place went down hill. Terrible! Pizza we got was decent, but small cheese steak calzone & large cheese steak was so disappointing! Sub was mostly bread & calzone had hardly any steak. VERY THIN! Just look at photos. Go to Giovani's, Nicks, Rizzos, Mikes, etc. probably 4 times bigger! Also paid for extra cheese on sub, but there was hardly any cheese at all. WOW! I could go on & on. Mandees was a staple in Lynn & Salem back in the day. Oh, and $46 later for those 3 items?!? What a joke! SMH

Wing ding plate 17.50 with a salad really

The service can be better the food quantity as well 17.50 for this not worth it. I also order q can of soda I got a bottle like wtf. Oh and I don't eat drum sticks so I basically wasted my money

Chicken broccoli ziti personal sized pizze

My first encounter at Mandee's was during freshman year of high school. It was the spot back then.. (Simple and inexpensive) It's been a long time since. I really wanted to see if they still lived up to those past expectations.. I placed an online order on my previous visit. The site is easy to navigate and very much comprehensible. They even give you a tracking tool, just like a dominos thing. I will praise them on their menu. They give you the option to order a personal sized pizza. This gave me the incentive to order more pizzas to sample. When I received my order, it was kind of disappointing. (It does take about 45mins so I recommended you plan accordingly.) The French fries I had ordered were very soggy, good seasoning but no crunch at all. Super greasy! It was seeping thru the bag! The pizzas were also mediocre. We had the steak bomb and chicken broccoli ziti. I did enjoy the seasoning on the steak bomb. It was slightly salty but not overpowering. The chicken broccoli ziti was a bit al dente to my liking. Both would have been better taste wise if it was fresh out the oven. It was somewhat cold when we received it. And there was no crispy texture. I would return but I suggest getting/eating it fresh out the oven, you would enjoy it a lot more!

Online order system shows the Mediterranean comes standard with red sauce, but the chef making our pizza decided it doesn't.

No parking, no rest rooms, and nowhere to sit and eat, but I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the speed by which they made the sandwich. -- Italian Sandwich: A heavy beast of a sandwich with a lengthy ciabatta roll stuffed with sopressata, salami, capicola, hot capicola, mortadella with pistachios, asiago cheese, arugula, tomato, onion, seasoned oil, pickles, and hot peppers. --- All of the flavors came through and the meats seemed of very high-quality. The pickles were more noticeable than the hots, but easy to adjust next time. The cheese tasted better as it went along, probably getting closer to room temperature where it really shines. --- The flavors and textures were all impressive with the one exception of the ciabatta-- a little on the firm side, but that could be symptomatic of my late Sunday visit. I give them a pass for that and applaud this VERY good sandwich. --- Incredible value! This had to weigh at least 3 pounds and could easily have fed two people, and for only slightly more than a McDonald's "value" meal. Normally, I would wait and try it again before reviewing, but the city of Lynn isn't easy for me to get to, so now it is and it's an easy 4. The only things holding them back from a 5 are the lack of parking, seating, and toilet.

I was able to get a spot right near the bridge to run in and get my take-out order. Upon entering, I realized it was "cash" only. I was a bit aggravated but that is the business's decision and that goes place to place. Who am I to decided how they would operate. Anyway, there is an ATM machine right in the lobby for customers with debit cards, credit cards or some other way to pay. My two cheese pizzas (one with extra sauce) was ready when I arrived so I got my cash and was out of there. When I finally was able to eat the pizza with my wife...boy, we were both happy and excited. The pizza was awesome. Great crust, fresh dough, awesome sauce and fresh cheese. I liked the size of the pizza and the price reflected that! Monte's has tables and booths inside but I took my to go, after a long day at the beach. They also have a bar. I would say 10-12 seats with Keno and a big TV. The service was swift and the lady that I dealth with was great! I can only assume Portnoy either has a connection to this spot or he lost a bet. I did the lunch special, half pepperoni pizza and a side salad. For the price, $9.50, it was fine but not worth the drive. I'd rate it 5.1; very thin, almost no sauce and greasy. The salad was fine. The waitress was an older lady, very Boston but friendly. She is what kept this from a 2 star review. Like others mention, parking is tight and the place seems to attract an older crowd. I watched an old man back into a truck while leaving. So be careful where you park.

She was patient and kind and took the time to understand what we needed. We ordered cocktails... because tonight was the last night I could before I re-start chemotherapy. Both my father and I ordered the Sangria ($14.00) ... And it was *amazing*. Honestly, it was the best I've had since my best friend and I drank together at a Flamenco restaurant in Montreal in June of 1985. My mother ordered the house dry red wine ($10.00) I didn't taste it and she didn't mention whether it was good or not. We ordered one Ceasar Salad ($10.00) and it was both really generous and incredibly delicious (see photo). My parents and I split it three was and it was plenty. The tang of the dressing really worked against the sardines and garlic. I'd definitely go back for more of that!! For dinner, my mother ordered the beef special.... Beef Braciole ($33.00) in an epic sauce. She loved it... but definitely could not finish it!! She brought the leftovers home (as did my father and I). My father ordered the Veal parmigiana ($29.99) and it was a massive, almost overwhelming plate of food (photo attached). He loved it (as did I when I tasted it!). For me?? I ordered the Pollo Vodka Bella Napoli ($26.99 - photo attached). It was a huge, almost overwhelming bowl of food and it was amazing. Deep, rich flavor with mushrooms, bacon, shallots, and tender chunks of chicken. The noodles we all ordered were the home made & hand-made fusilli that are produced in-house. I think that if a chef is going to spend the time necessary to make noodles, you should savor them... and that's what we did. Suzanne offered us a chance at dessert, but we declined, since we knew that if any of us ate a bite more, we would hit critical mass and destroy at least the surrounding block. The only weak point we encountered was the bread. It was weak, drab, and lacking in taste and character. They could do much better on that. Our bill, with taxes, was $162.62. With tip, it came to $195. Totally worth it!
