Close up of the Fettuccine Alfredo and added Grilled Chicken
    Marissa G.

For Mothers Day my family and I decided to order from Mandolas Italian Kitchen. My husband placed the order online. He said that it listed pickup an hour after we placed the order. This was understandable because it was Mothers Day. I drove up, parked, and went inside. It was crowded and busy. I went up to the pickup sign and was greeted by a nice guy that found my order. I asked if I could get a piece of cake also and he retrieved it and boxed it up. I paid for the cake, grabbed the food and went home. For my meal I ordered some Bruschetta alla Checca, Garlic Bread , Garlic Fries, Fettachini Alfredo and added Grilled Chicken, and a slice of Italian Cream Cake. The Garlic Bread had a hint of Garlic, I really liked the Bruschetta alla Checca. It was very good with the Fettuccine Alfredo. The Garlic Fries were very tasty and a new favorite of mine. The Fettuccine Alfredo was okay. It could have used more sauce but the noodles were good and the chicken was tender. The Italian Cream Cake was yummy. The cake was moist and the cream was good. A perfect sweet for the end of my meal. Overall it's a decent place to order and pickup some food. The pickup time was long but it was Mothers Day. The pickup process was easy and fast and the food was good.

Mandola's is a fast casual Italian restaurant. We have been here many times but it's been awhile. I was glad to see that it is still a great place to bring the family They have a good variety that both kids and adults can enjoy. Gelato for kids meals is a huge bonus. Food came out fast and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and the service was fast. The cake was a bit pricey but it was good. We enjoyed our dining experience there.

I used the Seed Oil Scout app and took a drive here to taste their food. We wasn't disappointed. I ordered the special of the day- Northern Italy lasagna with bruschetta. My wife got the noodles with meat plate. Hers was too aldente. My entree was fresh, but slightly mush. The staff was friendly and our order was fast. They carry a good selection of Italian drinks as well. (Pellegrino). Not bad for a food truck. The best part is they don't use seed oil, all olive oil.

When you order grill chicken it should be chicken. When I checked my to go order at the restaurant. I saw what I thought was focaccia bread saying it out loud to the lady and thank you!Getting home no fococcia bread, always is complimentry with a meal order. Instead we were given a huge panini with slices of ham and french fries instead. With such disappointment our meal was ruined. My receipt clearly says Grilled chicken. How can you mess up an order like this!?! I had to also ask for the salad be put seperate out of the bag of hot food. And too ask where the Cake we order was. The restaurant was not that busy. There was a man at first, he left, then a lady manager was who put this order together. When I called she said she was confusrd with other workers talking. I go here all the time and was confident my order was precise. The sandwich was thrown out. We couldn't and didn't even try a bite by the way it looked to being processed ham of sorts when she told me over the phone it was pastrami. The Lasagna we ordered was okay, seemed old. The Mista salad was okay too as well. Now for the Italian Cream cake, delicious, but a stale small cut piece. Not impressed this time Damian, I've had much better!

Nothing too special about the dishes. It's edible and the price is not too bad. The flavor is nothing outstanding. The noodle/flat spaghetti doesn't taste any different than store bought dry spaghetti, so I don't think they make it fresh in store.

There's a line outside where you can place your order and a few tables outside to sit. On our visit it was pretty hot outside so we didn't spend too long outside eating. I did see a small indoor area but it looked pretty crowded so I'm not sure what the seating structure was like. We decided on a pepperoni and pepperoni + mushroom pizza slice. I had the pepperoni and mushroom slice and devoured it in a minute or less. It was just so good! I adored the thin slice and it was amazingly savory. The crust was also fantastic. They have crushed red pepper at the tables and you can grab a fresh Parmesan shaker from the area you place your order. I would love to come back here and maybe try a whole pizza just so we could have a few more slices! They had several more options if you order a whole pizza that looked absolutely delicious. The outdoor space is probably more fun on a cooler day but nice that they have it. Till next time!

When I came, there were 3 options: cheese, pepperoni, and margherita. I tried the cheese pizza and to be honest, I didn't think it was anything noteworthy. If you're craving pizza, this will definitely satisfy that craving and if you're in the area and are having the late night drunchies, I'm sure that this would really hit, but I've had better pizza elsewhere. Everything here is pretty self serve and you can seat yourself at any of the picnic tables in front of the stand. Service was friendly!

Overall solid dinner, nice packaging, and decent price for Austin. The great: Cannoli large, firm, but too hard of a shell, tasty chocolate chips on the ends, and fresh tasting stuffing - creamy and delicious. And, great value! The very good: Meatball. Nice size, pork and beef (I think), tasty red sauce. Quite Italian. Good value. The good, but: Chopped salad. Good size, a lot of meat, balsamic was tasty, good cheese, but not a legit chopped salad. Real chopped salad- go to Tony Cs. Pizza - Tasted fine, but too doughy for legit NY style pizza (and, I grew up in NY and get there 2-3x a year). Skimpy on the sausage, but excellent flavor/tasty. Would I order from here again. Probably not, as the non-pizza options are limited and the pizza was just okay.

We waited maybe 20 minutes to order then another 45 minutes for food, which wasn't that bad for a busy Friday night. We were crowded outside, and we didn't really have enough table or chair space. That's to be expected when we descended upon the restaurant with such a large group. For six people, we ordered three pizzas to share. We definitely could have shared with more people because we had some pizza left over. We got The Works, Shroomin' Goat, and Texas Chicken Ranch pizzas. The Texas Chicken Ranch was by far our favourite. It was really good, while the other two were alright. The crust was weirdly bubbly and amorphous looking. There was a lot of crust. The Works was okay. The sauce and meat weren't particularly tasty. The Shroomin' Goat was a vegetarian pizza with a lot of arugula, which is not my type of pizza, but our vegetarian friend said it was okay. Great vibes at Pinthouse overall though, and I have enjoyed their other pizzas in the past.

They have an indoor area where you can grab drinks but just pull up to the window and get what you want. What I really like about it is buying by the slice is about the same as if you would buy a whole pie, so it makes it easy to mix and match and try a bunch of uniquely topped pies. The slices are huge, so 2 is easily plenty. Arguably you can be fine with one. I highly recommend the cacio e pepe, a playful take on the classic Roman pasta, but you can think of it as a white pie with some tingling black pepper. Sausage pizza is also great, though a bit on the wetter side with all the honey. Plain pepperoni really highlights the expert simplicity of a classic pie - the crust really shines and the pepperoni is top tier. Cheese is fine. Stracciatella is kinda like a margherita slice with a thick dollop of fresh dairy, but it adds a bit too much water to the pie to stay crisp. Corn pizza was the summer special and while it was interestingly spicy and sweet from the corn, would say it was far and away the least favorite from our crew. Make sure you grab some hot honey and ranch for the crust! Also don't sleep on the caesar salad. It is very well dressed and has a nice combo of crunch from the shallots and freshness from the lettuce. You won't notice the miso but it adds umami punch (instead of the anchovies that normally are used presuambly).
