Mandrake is a cool spot to check out. There's a cute phone by the front bar for the perfect insta picture. There's also a stripper pole next to it. The cute neon sign is where everyone eats. The performers are entertaining and full of energy. The music was good and the food was better. I had edamame and sushi. The presentation of the sushi was A1 in a cute boat.

Heard nothing but great things so wanted to give it a try for my Anniversary dinner. walking in the place is really nice and within the theme but extremely dark inside. We sat down for 30 minutes until our server greeted us which turned out to be the hostess. She was really nice and did apologize for the wait, she had amazing recommendations. Heads up your voice will be done for from how loud the music it, but it's does come with a show. I started off with the Sake to Me which is a lychee drink and it was delicious, so I had to get another one lol. We ordered the Mandrake roll as an appetizer but came after we finished our dinner. The roll was wasn't I expected but it was extremely overrated, can definitely can get better at Blue ginger. I loved the skirt steak, it was cooked BEAUTIFULLY. You can see from the picture! The bill wasn't too bad but 22% tip is automatically included which is crazy. They don't have valet parking but a nearby parking garage which is two blocks away.

Ambiance, service and experience is great. The food is not so much. Lots of sauces cover up the flavor profile of the dishes.

They recently reopened after covid. Made reservations online, greeted at the front desk. First impression, BEAUTIFUL LAYOUT. Sexy and intimate vibe. My rating for the food Appetizer 3/5 Sushi 3/5 Cocktails 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 4/5 We came during the week so there wasn't a crowd. They are known for the lounge and hookah on the weekends. They also have private events and special guests. I hope they do well moving so forth! It's a beautiful spot. Will come back during the weekend!

Our receipt with the fake "New Years" fee

This place is an absolute scam. We went here yesterday evening for NYE 2023 and prepaid $1000 for 5 people. The prepaid package stated that it included all taxes, service charges, and fees. We ordered a total of 8 cocktails, but were charged an outrageous $448.02 at the end of the night. This included a fake fee of $186 that was simply listed as "New Years" (we literally witnessed our waiter input this into the POS separately). He thought he could take advantage of my mother, who is a foreigner and could not understand the BS terms he spewed out. Mandrake is not an honest business. At the end of the day, it is the establishment's fault for not teaching their staff to treat customers with integrity. Whilst it may seem glamorous in the photos, this is a shady business that will try to take advantage of their guests. Do not even consider going here.

I enjoyed the restaurant a lot! We decided on it last minute and the staff was very accommodating. We def got there after the shows but the DJ was great - beautiful people, our waiter and food runners were sweet too. The bar is busy and some drinks took a while but the food is phenomenal. We had the strip steak, shrimp fried rice and both were some of the best dishes i've had in a long time. Mandrake is def worth the visit!

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT EVER!!!! It's decorations, food, and drinks were out of this world. The service was good. We went for my boyfriends birthday and the staff came singing with signs and sparklers which made it even more fun. The drinks were strong but mixed very well and the food was perfectly cooked (raw and cooked at the perfect temperature). The entertainment was fun to watch and honestly I was super surprised and not at all expected to enjoy it as much as I did. I recommend! There's also a bathroom attendant which I thought was a nice touch to the organization aspect of it. Music was fun and they also have hookah for those interested at an additional charge.

Overpriced, rude staff, extremely long waits but a fun ambiance with picture worthy decor. We had a fairly large group with a 10:30 pm reservation, however we weren't seated until 11:45 pm. We tried to order right away but the last meal did not arrive to the table until after 1 am. Probably a tactic to spend money at the bar. Several meat meals were not cooked to the desired temperature as discussed when ordered and staff tried to contest the complaints. Food was very average, not worth the wait or money.

This Burlesque show, called Cocktails and Cabaret, unites classic American standards like "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" with contemporary pop songs like "Uptown Funk." She brings highly respected Burlesque artists from across the world with wide ranging styles but all with artistry. I especially liked Pearle. Josette Pimenta is another excellent vocalist who is a perfect complement to Sunni Stephens. Often they sing together. They both fully possess the sexiness, sultry charm, playfulness, and strong stage presence in the style of the Marilyn Monroe era. Nicely mingled between ballads are first rate dancers with talent, style, energy and saltiness of the historic Vegas era. Jennifer Solano is the choreographer and lead dancer. She is a veteran Vegas dance, consummate artist with exceptional timing, skill, rhythm and flair. She owns the stage when she performs. She and her dancers wear fabulous and colorful Vegas style outfits with hats. Altogether, Clubesque offers great singing, a humorous drag queen hostess Noel Leon, beautiful dancing, and energy to have you cheering for more. If you like the music of great American standards, Donna Summers, Cher, Latin dance, and Sinatra classics, you'll find that and more. Open bar and table seating add to the old Hollywood and Vegas ambience. They all come off the stage and sing and dance by your seat. You won't get that kind of intimacy from major pop performers. Miami is fortunate to have such talent dedicated to offering a fun, sexy and lively musical production at a reasonable price. Go see it! Bring your partner and friends. Our server, Lianys, was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and professional without ever being intrusive. She made excellent recommendations for both appetizers and main courses. The ambiance was casual elegant, and the live music added so much to the experience. A very talented band was playing, along with a young singer whose jazzy voice was absolutely beautiful. We ordered the black bean risotto and the Chino Latino fried rice, and both dishes were delicious, creative, and full of flavor. The prices were moderate for the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, and the wine list, while modest, was very well priced. I especially recommend the Albariño, which was excellent quality at a very affordable price and, in my opinion, the best value on the list. The hostess quickly attended us and gave me a rose which was so sweet considering its Valentine's Day and my first as a wife so I got a keep sake cute touch. As for the entertainment throughly enjoyed the singer and band truly my favorite part to have a bottle of wine and have dinner to lovely music set. Service 4/4 Again it was Valentine's Day so the server was certainly busy but very sweet kind attentive so I'm sure it would be great on a normal day. Food 3.5/5 Here was where there was room for some improvement but I'm telling you I would still so go back to give it a shot on a non crazy busy day. We did have a limited menu for Valentine's Day still great options. We had the ceviche was my husbands favorite tasted very good and fresh. Dumplings which were supposed to be to be lechon but they didn't have any left so it was a mixed fish dumpling still good but wouldn't get it again specifically but I would opt to try the lechon one if it's available next time I go. Maripositas chinas was the slow roasted lechon with guava sauce that was my favorite! The guava sauce totally took it to the next level and a perfect temperature. Chino Latino rice that was sooooo delicious it also had pieces of maduro in it so hell yes! This could have been a little warmer but still delish and would get again. Last we got the churrasco steak but that was unfortunately not hot. I'll just sum that out to the hectic day being valentines but overall I look forward to going back again!

It was a cool night -perfect for a cocktail, relaxing and easy.. no hurry just taking in the sights and sounds. Latin music playing in the background, smell of perfume and spices in the air- outdoor cafes with with the warmth of flame lamps lighting the cool air. Breezing into the theater the sweet girl at the door greeted us with a huge smile and scanned our tickets. I fell in love with the play " Anna in the Tropics" this extraordinary play written by the Pulitzer Prize winner Nilo Cruz-playwright and director -is a work of art! It demonstrates the power of literature to move and inspire you. One of my favorite books, Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, is central to this play. I thoroughly enjoyed the powerful images presented in this masterpiece. Art and literature came together in an extraordinary and impactful way. It is a play for adults because it deals with strong themes. But it is well done! I highly recommend this play! It is worth every penny. In the 1960's the movie theater was renovated along with all of Lincoln Road in the MiMo style of architecture (midcentury modern). Seating capacity was reduced to 894 seats. In the ensuing years the Colony used as a movie house and a live performance space. In 1971 Samuel Kipnis purchased the theater and used it to host The Greater Miami Educational Cultural Series and he showed educational films from his private collection. In 2006 the Colony Theatre underwent a $6.5 million renovation that returned it to its original Art Deco style and updated it with new light and sound equipment. I love when a historic building is saved, especially when it is such a wonderful example of Art Deco architecture. How wonderful that the theater is still being used today. It is even said to be haunted to be the spirit of a barking poodle and one that likes to hang out by the main stage and lobby.
