I am genuinely disappointed with our experience tonight. We have come here many times before and it has always been a pleasant experience with great food and service. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed that perception. We had a 9:45 pm reservation and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. When we were finally sat, it felt like they improvised a table in a random corner rather than honoring an actual reservation. The service continued to decline from there. The bread was served cold. Our appetizers took 45 minutes to arrive. Then the main course came another 30 minutes later, overcooked, burnt, and frankly not enjoyable. The timing, the food quality, and the overall execution were extremely disappointing. After being loyal customers, this experience was shocking. I truly hope management addresses these issues because tonight did not reflect the standard this place used to uphold. read more

I came for brunch after a few different people recommended it to me! For $88, you got a delicious bottomless food and drink brunch on the upper level of the EAST Hotel with Brickell building views. It is no longer that price---the unlimited food is $75 and the free flow drink package to add on is $20. But for the quality of food and the cost of one cocktail that you could knock out with the drink package, this is a solid bottomless brunch option that is sure to please anyone! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with many wooden finishes and plenty of surrounding windows to let natural light in during the day. We were given a glass of sparkling wine from a table with glasses lined up as soon as we walked in. I wish I had 3 more stomachs to eat multiples of the delicious dishes on the menu. The tostada de atun was fresh, delicately seasoned and so snackable. The ostras y Michelada were so creative but still managed to keep the briny and fleshy taste of the oyster. The tabla de carne was one to write home about: a wooden grilled meat board of a rack of lamb, skirt steak and NY strip that were all tender and perfectly seasoned. I think we liked the strip steak the best but would have ordered 3 more of the boards if we could. The cigalas a la parilla were the prized dish of the brunch. The prawns came head on, grilled to brilliance, ready to be photographed and unshelled for their succulent meat. Gabriella our server was on point! She checked on us often and kept our drinks going, not an easy feat considering how much we all consumed. Her recommendation for a drink that was not too sweet was spot on. Many of their brunch cocktails feature mezcal which is a delight for me, but they are flexible about switching out liquors if you need. You get unlimited wine, sparkling wine and beer in addition to the cocktails in the drink package. There is no shortage to the possibilities of drink and bite combinations you can get in this brunch! I am so happy I didn't cancel my reservation for Sunday Brunch! The trek to Brickell was a nightmare and valet was very slow at East, but once you exit the elevator, all of that is forgiven. Just above Brickell City Center is a lush escape called, Quinto. The ambiance puts you in such a good mood and the service and food elevates the experience to top tier. This is the best Miami Brunch available today. Before I was verbally greeted, I was handed a glass of ice cold sparkling wine. Having just celebrated Christmas with multiple bottles of Champagne, what Quinto serves is better than Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and dare I say, as good as Billecart-Salmon Brut. The way Sunday Brunch works here is for one price, a delightful server brings you cocktails, beer and wine, and plates and plates and plates of various delectable dishes. The highlights for me were the Causa de Pulpo, I could have eaten five plates of this octopus dish; the Vuelve a la Vida; and two different Tostada dishes. The Quesabirria looked like an average Quesadilla, but it was anything but. The beef trio was fired perfectly, and the Langostino Tigre was juicy, tender and flavourful. Food flowed and I think I tried three different cocktails while water and sparkling wine kept flowing. We should have stopped two plates ago, but there was dessert. Who hasn't had a chocolate cake? This little volcanic chocolate cake was moist and rich and . . . I should have stopped! My guest and I rolled through this large and exciting restaurant with great indoor and outdoor space, we were too full to walk. My mind couldn't help but think about the next event I could host here. Quinto is a part of EAST Miami located on the fifth floor & does offer some awesome deals like a bottomless brunch with a wide variety of drinks on Sunday & whatnot, I was staying at the EAST Miami & honestly just wanted to use the credit I had for this restaurant. I had the pulpo after reading rave reviews on it & it certainly did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection and everything it came with complimented it perfectly. Do note that they charge for water here (something I'm not accustomed to in NYC quite frankly). Anyways, everyone was quite friendly & attentive. If I'm staying at the EAST Miami again on my next visit to Miami, I would visit Quinto again for that octopus dish. read more

Latin flavors with a chic spice. Quinto is the fifth station where Latin fusion embarks on a glamorous setup. Tucked in Brickell City Centre, on one of the floors of the EAST hotel, the restaurant features an indoor elegant/rustic setup, as well as a comfy and smooth terrace chill area, where you can comfortably sit at high tables with cushioned seats and farm tables for a nice, shared dining experience. They surprised us with some fried crab cake starters and crispy focaccia (hint: ask them to warm it up to enhance the flavor), all of it on the house (but let's be honest, for the price you pay, it's the least they could offer). As starters, we ordered the grilled octopus. Even though it's one of my favorite dishes and I always order it, on this particular occasion it didn't quite meet my expectations, as it didn't taste that fresh, and octopus, just on its own, should be marvelous. The potato on the side really surprised me, as I'm not a fan, but it tasted very good; it was a smoked mashed potato foam. The roasted cauliflower with smoked eggplant cream, lentil salad, and roasted cashew crumble was a little stiff, but I'd say it was good. From all the starters, the fig quinoa salad was my favorite, maybe because of its sweet sparks notes. As main courses, the entrecôte with truffle fries was a standout. The meat was tender and on point (even though it wasn't medium rare), and the French fries were thin-cut and crispy, with a perfectly balanced truffle scent. We topped it off with some sautéed exotic mushrooms with onions, wine jus, and chives. The crystal salted milanesa (a breaded NY strip steak served with Dijonnaise and llajua sauce) was also a favorite. They serve a big portion, so it's a shareable dish. A mildly executed espresso martini shimmered my appetite and set the tone for dessert. To close on a sweet note, we tried the three main desserts: the Basque cheesecake, made with cream cheese, aged Manchego, and Pedro Ximénez sherry foam. This is not really a Basque cheesecake at all, it tasted more like the American kind, as it was stiff. Not a bad execution, but named completely wrong. The Pavlova de Maracuyá, a meringue with homemade passion fruit sorbet, fresh mango, and micro mint, delivered a whimsical cotton candy taste. The Dulce de leche fondant, spooned with homemade creamy banana ice cream, pecan cookie, and white chocolate graham crumble, is a next-level dessert. All my favorite flavors collide in this interpretation. Just make sure they bring the fondant super warm so the dulce de leche erupts all around. Sergio, our server, was on point and delivered as expected, always attending to our requests with a smile and Latin charm. Meanwhile, Michael, the manager, greeted us personally to ensure our experience was meeting the Quinto standard. We went for Brunch where they offer unlimited food for 2 hours for $75. The food was okay, a bit of let down as most of it was not served fresh and was room temperature. We were in the Brickell area of Miami to visit my wife's son and he suggested this place. We were so glad he did, the meal and atmosphere were excellent. It can be a little hard to find, but worth it. We ate outside which was not too hot. Service was prompt and really excellent throughout the meal. We started with a pitcher of sangria. That was really great, perhaps the best sangria I have had. They also brought our this Amuse Bouche of gazpacho that was really tasted (or something with tomatos). For appetizers, we had a burrata that had pistachios with it. It was really good (then they also provided a bread basket that was a great complement, with really tasty focaccia bread). For the main course, two of us split the 24 oz NY strip and then my wife got the Pasta Y Trufa. The steak came with roasted avocado and onion and was absolutely perfect. It was a great cut of steak cooked and seasoned just right, then the avocado and onion were really nice complements. For sides, we had the mushrooms and smashed potatoes. Both of those were very good as well (the mushrooms are mentioned as exotic, but seemed like a pretty normal mix that goes well with the steak). Then my wife loved her pasta, the basil sauce was superb. Then for dessert, we had passionfruit with meringue. This was wonderful as well--and plenty for three of us to split. Came here to celebrate my birthday with 10 friends for the Barrio Brunch, and honestly, it was the best decision we could've made. Our server, Angela, was amazing! My personal standouts were the meat tabla, tuna tostadas, and the oysters - all super fresh. The cocktails were also incredible. I tried the espresso martini and the Palomas, both hit the spot. I finally got to try Quinto's all you can eat and drink experience thanks to a gift card from Miami Run Club and it did not disappoint! We started with Ostras y Micheladas, Trío de Ceviche, and Causa de Pulpo from the Barra Fría. Then came the hot dishes: Queso Fundido con Chorizo, Quesabirria, and a Tabla de Carne. To close it out, we had Flan de Vainilla y Dulce de Leche, Tostada de Tres Leches, y El Volcán de Chocolate. Everything exceeded expectations, but the Trío de Ceviche was my favorite. Served with tajaditas (plantain chips), each ceviche had its own bold and fresh flavor. The drinks were also outstanding. I had the tamarind spicy and my friend had the pisco sour. Both delicious. In short: Brunch is worth it if you order food and drinks to your hearts desire I came here on a Sunday for the Brunch De Barrio with my girlfriends. It's 75.00 per person and it's bottomless food and drinks from their brunch menu. Drinks included wine, champagne, liquor, bloody Mary's etc. The theme is various foods from Latin America with a focus on central and South America from what I saw. The food was good and fast but we picked up on the fact that it's premade and sent out as ordered. Our cauliflower and Milenesa both came out ice cold. Also, a friendly worker was walking around passing out tastings of various things from the menu. This is a nice touch but I am assuming this is done because that food will go dead otherwise. We had arepas at the table that we barely touched so I asked to take them home. They said that they do not offer to go on brunch items. So they took it away and hopefully tossed it. This seemed very odd that they would rather waste food than pay 10 cents for a to-go package. Overall I think it's a good experience. I can't rave enough about how great of a brunch experience I had the other day. I highly recommend Quinto and to make a reservation for this Sunday NOW! A top factor in this great experience was the staff. Lara was the sweetest hostess in all of Miami. I'm calling it now. Paul was a very attentive and friendly server with great energy. The manager Mike stopped by and it is great to see managers interacting with the guests to make sure they are doing well. The ladies that brought the appetizers around and cleaned our dishes were fabulous as well and I was just blown away about how friendly everyone was; which is definitely a miraculous change of pace from typical Miami service. The food was just as spectacular. The empanadas didn't need a sauce and were so flavorful and moist. The ceviche and tuna tostadas were a perfect size for one and the fish tasted so fresh. The presentation on all the dishes were all pretty and they have some delicious chimichurri that paired so well with the NY Strip and Skirt Steak from the Tabla de Carne. The drinks were sent out so fast but still make with care. I was impressed with the fact that there was barely any wait time. My favorite was the Blood Orange Pisco Sour. What's not to love at an all you eat and drink brunch with great service and ambiance! In the East Hotel ( below Sugar) We were greeted with a glass of rose and seated immediately. Our server explained the all you can eat menu to us and we went to town ordering a bunch of different items for the table to share. Everything was well proportioned and tasty. Mimosas and expresso martinis were made well too! We were a table of 10 and sat for about 2.5 hours before we called it quicks lol. The hostess dropped our menus and we waited for at least 10 minutes before we had to get up and get someone to help us. No one ever came, in fact I was about to walk away, but my friend insisted that we have a bite. After our waiter came, the service was great. I ordered a Chilean Carmenere and my friend ordered a Prosecco. Both were good. We ordered the grilled octopus and shared a red salad. The texture of the octopus was on point, but the flavor was not great, and it was swimming in oil that tasted a little bit stale. The potatoes were unseasoned, even though they were dusted with paprika, you couldn't taste it at all. The salad was delicious. All in all it was not a bad experience. Very easy to find - just go to the lobby of the East and press the specific button on the elevator for the restaurant for an elevator straight there. Upon entering, we were greeted with a glass of bubbly, which was a nice touch. Paul gave us a great experience, super friendly and attentive. Also appreciated the nice touch of someone coming by with a selection of pastries to choose from. A nice way to serve it to be both classy but also avoid waste by having guests decide how many they want versus just providing a standard and fixed plate. All the cocktails on the brunch menu were high-quality and carefully crafted - not at all watered down or overly sweet like many tend to be. Service was consistent and quick to provide new drinks. The coconut espresso martini and blood orange pisco were favorite. From the apps, both tostadas were delicious, but especially the "tostada de ceviche," very rich and flavorful. Oysters were nice and briny but I will say it would have been nice if they were removed from the shell as they were tough to pull out. Paul, being as attentive as he was, saw us struggling and quickly came over with a spoon before we even asked. Really loved the "tabla de carne" - had it cooked "medium" as a compromise with friends from my usual medium rare since it's a shareable dish but even cooked a bit more it still was very flavorful. The "anticucho de langostino" almost fell off our radar until we saw a plate go by with them for another table - very tasty and just a fun dish presentation-wise! For dessert, everyone at our table raved about the "tostada de tres leches," although the flan was my personal favorite. I really appreciated that the dishes were on the smaller size and made-to-order. This made sure to avoid food waste and ensure high-quality dishes versus a buffet-style. Every restaurant makes mistakes, and every business makes errors on occasion. It's how they recover from those and the lengths they go to in order to make it right with their customers that really matters. In our case, during a recent visit to Quinto they made a big misstep, but they went well beyond what they had to do in order to make it right. We were more than appreciative and as a result, we plan to return here and patronize this place in the future for sure. On New Years' Day we wanted to find a brunch spot, so I did an internet search. One particular website mentioned that Quinto would be offering their "Brunch de Barrio" which is normally offered on Sundays, on New Years Day. The description of some of the foods available made our mouths water and sealed the deal for us. Quinto's website and social media also made mention of this brunch deal. We arrived, were seated right away and were given.... regular, standard menus with no breakfast or brunch foods listed. We looked at the drink menu - none of the brunch selections were there, just dinner-style cocktails which we weren't really in the mood for. There must be a mistake! I went to the hostess stand, explained they gave us regular menus and we came there specifically for their well-advertised brunch. Her response? "Yeah, we cancelled that". I asked what she meant - we'd only come there because we saw the NY brunch mentioned on the web and on Quinto's social media. She said she'd speak with the manager. Another employee came to our table and asked if she could assist. We gave her the same explanation. She said they cancelled the brunch as they didn't get enough reservations but she'd speak with the manager. Our server came, asked if we were ready to order. We explained we were there for their brunch as advertised, not lunch or dinner. He said he'd speak with the manager. A few moments later the manger (Paloma) came out, explained she understood our frustration, she'd spoken with the chef and they would offer us some options. She read from her phone the brunch dishes they could offer to us. She also said she'd adjust menu prices and drink prices and make it right for us. Though the chilaquiles my husband really wanted and had come there for wasn't one of the dishes mentioned, we really did appreciate her efforts and so we decided to stay. She took our server off to the side and told him the selections that were available so he could note them. A few minutes later he returned and gave us the brunch drink menu and told us most all those selections were also available to us, which we appreciated. We both started with bloody marys, and shared the salmon tartar from their regular menu which was very good. We then each had an order of steak and eggs which again, was very good and I'd gladly return here to have that dish for brunch. We also each had a few brunch-style drinks - mimosas and palomas, and they were truly bottomless. For dessert, they brought us a bit of a sampler to share with flan, chocolate cheesecake, and dulce de leche with banana ice cream and it was the perfect finish to our meals. As we were finishing, a male manager came by to check on us and we thanked him profusely for going out of their way to accommodate us on this day - creating a quasi brunch for us when they'd canceled the one they'd advertised. Before we were ready to pay and leave, Paloma, the manager who'd arranged this for us with the chef stopped by, and again, we gave her our thanks. True to her word, when the check came, we were each charged $75+ tax and gratuity for all we ate and drank. She'd made it right for us as promised. Omg where do I begin with how amazing this place is?! The food was out of this world, the service was incredible and the vibe super chill. Our favorites were the tostada de atún, ostras Y michelada, causa de pulpo, quedabirria, anticucho de langostino and of course the tabla de carne cooked medium rare. The vanilla flan was the perfect finish; however the torta the tres leches was also really good, it reminded me of bread pudding. Gabriela was so nice and patient with us, she made understanding the menu and the ordering process so easy. We absolutely recommend coming here for brunch! Very nice ambiance, huge place, excellent service. We went for their all you can eat brunch special for $75/person. We didn't have reservations so they accommodated us at the outdoor bar. Our mixologist and server was excellent. Very swift and made fantastic drinks. I would say the drinks are more of the star here than the food. The presentation was very nice, the dishes were decent but not as packed with flavor as I would've wanted. I rate the whole experience 4 stars but based on food flavor, it might be just 3 stars. What we ordered: Food: Tostada de Ceviche--recommended Ostras y Michelada--oysters weren't pre-shucked so it was a little awkward to eat Causa de Pulpo--decent, was expecting more flavor Califlor Adobada--filling and decent, just not very memorable Tabla de Chorizo--very basic tasting. Warning: comes with blood sausage Chilaquiles--also filling and decent, just not very memorable which was a bummer bcuz I love chilaquiles. I was expecting it to be saucier Masa de Cangrejo-pretty basic, the filling didn't have much of a crab flavor Tabla de Carne--was well cooked and flavorful Pargo a la Talla--pretty bland, could have used a good marinade Tostada de Tres Leches--delicious Drinks: Blood Orange Pisco Sour--yummy and refreshing, nice & light Cantarito--one of the best drinks of the day. Caro pero malo !!! Este lugar es una tristeza dado que tiene todo el potencial pero simplemente es un robo. Precio/calidad, es ridículo. Además, abrieron las ventilas de la parrilla y todo el humo salió a la terraza por horas. Salimos apestando de ahí. The decor inside and out is beautiful. Honestly, the main reason I decided to eat here. I had family visiting from out of town and thought I would give it a try. There is a wide variety of foods on the menu, which makes it great for large parties. There is likely something for everyone. All the food was delicious. I regret not taking more pictures, but everyone at the table loved all the food. They have lots of shareable plates. The jalea and the salmon tartar were our favorites. The only thing keeping this place from getting 5 stars was the service. They were pretty slow. Otherwise, great experience. read more

Quinto is great for a group brunch as the cost and what you get is a good deal. For $78 you literally get everything on the menu along with their drinks. We sat outside which is a nice vibe and our server was great although there were moments of when we needed him and couldn't find him but overall was ok. Came to celebrate our anniversary dinner after we had drinks at Sugar. We sat outside which is very pretty. They had heaters next to the tables that made all the difference, since it was a chilly night. To start we ordered the empanada. It was a little pricey for what it was and I think I was ok. The star of the night was the avocado pizza. As you can see in the pictures it was completely covered in avocado and feta. It was delicious!! For the main meal we shared the Entraña. The meat was tender and juicy and the chimichurri was delicious. Our drinks came out quickly and our server too good car of us throughout the night. The food also came out relatively quickly.
