food is decent, not anything crazy. the place is beautiful, definitely more of a picture place than anything. service is lackluster. never got my water filled, food was only okay. tastes fine, no nuances or anything so if you're looking for a more elevated experience i don't think this is the place.

Mandrake is a cool spot to check out. There's a cute phone by the front bar for the perfect insta picture. There's also a stripper pole next to it. The cute neon sign is where everyone eats. The performers are entertaining and full of energy. The music was good and the food was better. I had edamame and sushi. The presentation of the sushi was A1 in a cute boat.

Heard nothing but great things so wanted to give it a try for my Anniversary dinner. walking in the place is really nice and within the theme but extremely dark inside. We sat down for 30 minutes until our server greeted us which turned out to be the hostess. She was really nice and did apologize for the wait, she had amazing recommendations. Heads up your voice will be done for from how loud the music it, but it's does come with a show. I started off with the Sake to Me which is a lychee drink and it was delicious, so I had to get another one lol. We ordered the Mandrake roll as an appetizer but came after we finished our dinner. The roll was wasn't I expected but it was extremely overrated, can definitely can get better at Blue ginger. I loved the skirt steak, it was cooked BEAUTIFULLY. You can see from the picture! The bill wasn't too bad but 22% tip is automatically included which is crazy. They don't have valet parking but a nearby parking garage which is two blocks away.

They recently reopened after covid. Made reservations online, greeted at the front desk. First impression, BEAUTIFUL LAYOUT. Sexy and intimate vibe. My rating for the food Appetizer 3/5 Sushi 3/5 Cocktails 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 4/5 We came during the week so there wasn't a crowd. They are known for the lounge and hookah on the weekends. They also have private events and special guests. I hope they do well moving so forth! It's a beautiful spot. Will come back during the weekend!

Ambiance, service and experience is great. The food is not so much. Lots of sauces cover up the flavor profile of the dishes.

Our receipt with the fake "New Years" fee

This place is an absolute scam. We went here yesterday evening for NYE 2023 and prepaid $1000 for 5 people. The prepaid package stated that it included all taxes, service charges, and fees. We ordered a total of 8 cocktails, but were charged an outrageous $448.02 at the end of the night. This included a fake fee of $186 that was simply listed as "New Years" (we literally witnessed our waiter input this into the POS separately). He thought he could take advantage of my mother, who is a foreigner and could not understand the BS terms he spewed out. Mandrake is not an honest business. At the end of the day, it is the establishment's fault for not teaching their staff to treat customers with integrity. Whilst it may seem glamorous in the photos, this is a shady business that will try to take advantage of their guests. Do not even consider going here.

I enjoyed the restaurant a lot! We decided on it last minute and the staff was very accommodating. We def got there after the shows but the DJ was great - beautiful people, our waiter and food runners were sweet too. The bar is busy and some drinks took a while but the food is phenomenal. We had the strip steak, shrimp fried rice and both were some of the best dishes i've had in a long time. Mandrake is def worth the visit!

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT EVER!!!! It's decorations, food, and drinks were out of this world. The service was good. We went for my boyfriends birthday and the staff came singing with signs and sparklers which made it even more fun. The drinks were strong but mixed very well and the food was perfectly cooked (raw and cooked at the perfect temperature). The entertainment was fun to watch and honestly I was super surprised and not at all expected to enjoy it as much as I did. I recommend! There's also a bathroom attendant which I thought was a nice touch to the organization aspect of it. Music was fun and they also have hookah for those interested at an additional charge.

Overpriced, rude staff, extremely long waits but a fun ambiance with picture worthy decor. We had a fairly large group with a 10:30 pm reservation, however we weren't seated until 11:45 pm. We tried to order right away but the last meal did not arrive to the table until after 1 am. Probably a tactic to spend money at the bar. Several meat meals were not cooked to the desired temperature as discussed when ordered and staff tried to contest the complaints. Food was very average, not worth the wait or money.

Last night, I went to the Mandrake for drinks with a good friend and we had a great experience. I ended up having the fried rice with crab as a small appetizer. I'm giving this place 3 stars because my pork belly appetizer came out after I received the check. The waitress failed to bring out my appetizer and was so annoyed that I no longer wanted it on my check that she gave the appetizer to the table next to me. It was extremely rude and uncalled for behavior, given the fact that she failed to provide adequate service. Nonetheless, there are great vibes throughout this place. I took lots of pictures and there were plenty of other servers that stepped in to pick up the slack. Drinks: Delicious. Nice and strong. Beautiful presentation. Ambiance: Perfect. Photo and Video ops throughout the venue. The music was on point! The dragon show was cute. Food: Tasty. However, this isn't the place you'd come to if you're starving, unless you don't mind ordering multiple plates. Portions are small.

The ceviches were all pretty similar, with the exception of the coconut one. They were tangy, citrusy, and good, but every single one was begging for some spice. If you're ordering ceviche, I'd skip the mixed seafood and stick with the fish-only options. The red snapper was easily my favorite dish of the night. Deboned, fried to perfection, and presented beautifully. My sparkling wine paired perfectly with it. The salmon sashimi was also delightful. Overall, come for the classic ceviche and the fried fish. Those are the standouts. Just don't expect your 20% gratuity to include help boxing up your leftovers.

The mix of Japanese with Peruvian flavors was jaw dropping. We had 4 dishes and we loved each of them (and this is rare!). The salmon poke with the typical Peruvian sauce was stunning. It was some of the best Peruvian ceviche we've had and we are from Southern California and they have some pretty good Peruvian restaurants (not the best but good enough). The salmon heaven roll had a lovely smokiness or char flavor from torching the salmon. It paired well with the light sweetness of the miso sauce. Our only complaint was the spicy tuna roll had too much spicy mayo. We aren't huge Mayo fans but we know this isn't typical. People usually love the mayo sauces on sushi but we don't. After reading the consistently strong reviews for Ceviche 105, the decision was easy. Peruvian cuisine is always a good idea--and this one did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant delivered a great overall experience. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, the music added to the energy, and the setting was comfortable and relaxed. Most importantly, the service was attentive, genuine, and professional. The food was the real highlight. The anticuchos were outstanding--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The ceviche was a must, and it delivered the bright, fresh flavors you expect from a great Peruvian ceviche. The churrasco also caught my attention and ended up being an excellent choice. Portions were generous across the board, and the pricing felt remarkably reasonable for both the quality and quantity. I chose to sit at the bar, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the evening. The bartender deserves special recognition. He prepared an excellent Pisco Sour and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, from customizing my drinks with extra spice to bringing smoked, spicy rocoto to complement my meal. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the experience even better. Interestingly, even my Uber driver had something to say about the restaurant when he picked me up. He mentioned that he regularly picks up guests from Ceviche 105 and that they consistently speak very highly of the restaurant. That kind of word-of-mouth says a lot. Ceviche 105 is the kind of restaurant that gets the important things right: quality food, generous portions, fair pricing, a great atmosphere, and hospitality that makes you want to come back. I absolutely recommend it. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Miami--and next time, I'm bringing my coworkers with me.
