Mango Bingsoo(Regular) with rice cakes
Katherine D.

My all time favorite bingso spot in Davis. Delivery is great because they always pack ice with it! But when I'm in town and in person it always hits the spot no matter the season. They have good boba too and I love how open it is and you can just chill.

10/10 mango bingsoo. Been craving bingsoo for so long and this definitely hit the spot. Highly recommend, it's so so so good!! They also have boba n drinks but I came here just for the bingsoo (friend recommended this and it rly lived up to the hype)

We came to MandRo on a Saturday evening, and fortunately there were plenty of seats. Don't let that be any indication of the foods as we ordered a mango bingsoo and it was really tasty. Full disclosure as I am mutual friends with mandro's owner but the mango was fresh, the ice was fully flavored so you're not just eating ice, and the portion sizes were big. Four of us shared one mango bingsoo and we were all satisfied

Highly Recommend the Strawberry Snow Bowl! First time going, and I'll be coming back sometime soon!

Large Mango Bingsu with extra condensed milk

Beckoning bingsu is enough of an excuse to make my way out to West Davis for a cool sweet treat. With the almost-summer hot weather, and mangoes in season, I was overdue to return. Ended up sharing a large order of the mango bingsu (with an extra side of condensed milk) for dessert after dinner at Sam's Mediterranean. You know it's a good sign when you see the boxes of champagne mangoes behind the counter, perfect ripeness and sweet variety! Didn't have room for any of their drinks but their boba is also bomb. Self-serve kiosk for ordering, board games if you want to hang out. Lots of parking shared with the Westlake Market businesses.

Im an all time fan of MandRo bingsu. Their strawberry and mango bingsu are my all time favorites. Their service is fine as it is through kiosk, and their ambiance is playful as they have board games. I don't go for their boba drinks but I've heard from my friends that they are good.

So yummy! Mango Sago
David L.

The mango sago was very good. No ice! Tho I may have wanted just a few ice cubes. The coconut jelly was very chewy and flavorful. The boba was very gooey and sweet. I normally don't liken boba but this boba very god staff was very friendly and helpful. The space is always clean and a great place to have hangout time with students or catch up on life with friends. Will prolly come back for the taro taro. Solid A.

Omg this place has the best mango sago ever. It's probs the best I've ever tried. The boba texture is perfect, not tooooo sweet, and the drink is COLD!! It was so good we came back 2x in one week lol. It's a really quiet and kind of an awkward shop LOL so we usually order to go. It's easy to order on the iPad and drinks came out in less than 5 min. The bigsoo was dn $20 that's crazy. 3 drinks turned out to $23. I wish this place wasn't so far away :(

Love their fruit bingsoo (they're the only ones I usually ever order). The regular size is already huge and shareable. I usually go towards the end of the night so they're mostly college kids hanging out w friends. There's a bunch of seating due to the amount of customers they have. It's all walk up!

In here on a hot day and holy WOW! The bingsu is DIVINE! Ordered some extra condensed milk to go with it and this is definitely going to the favorites list. They use the sweeter Asian mangos and everything we tried was delicious. Also got the mango sago which was a bit thin and watery but still very sweet and delicious. I will 1000% be back for bingsu again Service is accurate and timely and you just order at a kiosk so the more introverted of issue can get what we want in comfort

My friend and I drove here from Sac after we couldn't make it to our original bingsu place because it was closed. Overall, the desserts were very good! We got the matcha bingsu and the strawberry bingsu. At first I was worried because the condensed milk seemed watery, but after tasting it tasted like regular condensed milk so it ended up okay. My friend and I agreed that the strawberry was the best one out of the two. The matcha was good, but even with the condensed milk it wasn't as sweet or flavorful as I'd like it to be, but it is up to preference! I think my only warning would be that the ambiance can be hit or miss. It is in Davis so you will be walking into a place that has a lot of college students. We went at 9pm and there multiples of large groups who were really loud that I couldn't even really hear my friend across the table. Maybe come at an earlier time. Service was standard, workers were very nice when I asked a question.

Kirk L.

The boba drinks seemed to be not so cold when you get them. We have been here three times and still the same. Bingsoo was fire!

Seeing the reviews, I'm not sure if I just went on really good day? I came here on a Sunday afternoon, no line, not much people inside. I'm a big fan of Udessert story in SF/Berk and I haven't found a bingsu place that hit the cravings yet. I thought this place was great! Ordered the mango bingsu -- udessert is more aesthetic and has more sides but this place is half the price. Also ordered a combo #5, which was a dessert that looked similar to MeetFresh desserts but I actually prefer this place more because I feel like Meetfresh gives more soup vs toppings. We had the milk on the side and we poured it in. I'd come back again if I was in the area and craving! Shared these 2 bowls between 3 people and we were full, so I think 2 bowls would be good for a group of 4!

The address and location is not accurate on GPS (old location). The new location is in the courtyard area directly across from L&L Hawaiian BBQ and close to Calicraft Brewing Co. Food is just as good as I remember. We really like their Crispy Chicken (basically popcorn chicken). There isn't much seating inside, so on a busy day, you may need to do takeout or eat outside around the courtyard area. The 2 young men that helped serve us were great. They greeted everyone that came in and were very polite and helpful. I would definitely come back for their drinks and food in the near future.

At 1:20 PM only part of the order came out, and the chicken strips didn't arrive until 1:30 PM. When we asked about the delay, we were told that DoorDash orders were being prioritized, which was frustrating considering we were already sitting there waiting with our kids. We ordered the spicy Korean cheese dog, sweet cheese dog, potato dog, chicken strips, calamari, and two watermelon smoothies. Unfortunately the food itself was also disappointing. The corn dogs had soft breading, way too much cheese, and barely any hot dog, and the cheese wasn't properly melted. My three boys all tried them and said they only liked the hot dog part. The chicken strips took forever and were so overly spiced we ended up throwing them away, and the calamari was rubbery and not good. The total came out to around $70, which felt extremely overpriced for the quality of food and the wait time. Overall it was disappointing to feel like online orders were prioritized over the customers actually dining in, especially when the food quality didn't live up to the price. Seating is very limited and unfortunately it was extremely windy outside where we had to wait.

I came by Teaspoon again a few days ago while in Davis for Picnic Day and I am happy to say that it's as good as it was before. The menu is smaller than other boba places, but each drink I've had here has been good. I love a blend of strong tea flavor and not overly sweetened milk tea, which is what they have to offer! My go-to drinks are their house milk tea or liquid gold, and when I want something fruity, I opt for their lychee black tea (aka lychee on lychee). I suggest getting the drinks half sweet if you don't want your drinks too bland but also not too sweet. The staff here has always been local college students who offer kind and speedy service. I'm never in here more than a few minutes unless I'm ordering a lot of drinks. It's small inside the store so if there's a lot of people in line, it's best to wait outside. It's not really a place to sit down and chat, but to take your drink to go which is fine since it's located downtown.

My daughter got a caramel drink with boba and lychee (not a combo that makes sense to me), and she liked it. I had a Vietnamese frappe. It was quite tasty and the boba were good quality. The shop is clean and cute and there is a digital ordering system as well as love staff to order from and ask questions. Adorable place. We liked it and may even be back on our way past Davis again!

A lot of folks come in all at once so staff are really working as fast as they can. I got a mango matcha and interestingly it's topped with a scoop of matcha ice cream. I normally like their food and drinks. Today was the first time I hated my drink (crème brûlée Oreo…read moremilk tea) and also hated my son's drink (watermelon lychee green tea with added lychee chunks and added popping boba). Also this time they were very busy and it was cold, so I waited in my car. That was a big mistake because apparently the notice that your order is done doesn't come immediately when your order is actually ready. My chicken was ice cold and my drinks had been sitting there. So now I know, gotta pay attention to the drink status and now I also know there's only a few of their drinks I actually like. I don't like any of their drinks with slimy/gloopy additions. These are my drinks that I really love: - pomelo mango - tenghulu yogurt - matcha strawberry and matcha mango - sticky rice milk tea (no boba) - runner up is the coco mango cloud drink (ordered without mochi) - the pistachio chocolate drink is ok if you love everything Dubai chocolate - I hated the taro milk tea and anything with slimey additions Their food is only ok. I really liked their popcorn chicken the first time I had it and it was piping hot and they had the basil leaves. Since then I have never seen it come with the basil again and it has never been as good (too salty, moist/greasy and doesn't taste as good if they don't get it to you hot). I got the takoyaki and it's not good at all. The fish balls are ok and the fries ok and the sausages were my favorite (even though it's too expensive for two mini sausages). So this is a too long post just to say they basically this shop is just mediocre and I'll still come back but it's very expensive and there's hits and misses. The quality/consistency is all over the place depending on who is on duty behind the counter and how busy they are etc... next time I go I will try to take photos.
