Recently spent a little over $100 here... I didn't know their false eyelashes were super expensive. But for the quality of it I think it's somewhat worth it... or maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better lol. Anyway I come here because I really love some of their falsies but as far as the rest of the store goes, well I can't read what any of the products are (there's no translation either). Located inside the Santa Anita mall, the beauty store sells many Asian products which include skincare, cosmetics, hair color & care, and accessories. They used to have the NYX line, but they took it out probably because there's a NYX store in the mall now. I like that they have brands such as SU:M37, V7, Farm Stay, Dr Pharm, etc. Prices are generally comparable to online stores or might be a bit higher but pretty reasonable for fulfilling my instant gratificaton. Honestly, I would rather pay more here and not have to worry about the authenticity of the product or risk items lost in the mail. read more

Maneki Neko has a wide variety of Asian beauty products, yay! It's a bit overwhelming at first, so you should come in here knowing what you're looking for. They also had this miscellaneous section that didn't relate to beauty, but I didn't really look at it because I was distracted by the many facial masks they carry. It'd definitely be hard to pick what you want! The staff was also very friendly! I think she was the only worker there but she was really nice. Anyways, I went in to look for Dolly Wink products because I was running out of my eyeliner. Unfortunately, it was sold out but I was happy to see they had some of the newer products from DW. I ended up buying an eyebrow pencil (That they had testers for!) and a point lame, both from Dolly Wink. Additionally, there were these Dolly Wink pamphlets that you could take (I took 2 lol.) that show Tsubasa Masuwaka modeling the new line. Since I collect those, that was a plus! They were definitely priced more than what you can get them for in Japan, but that's understandable. But since i'm only specifying for Dolly Wink, i'm not to sure about the other prices. I know they carry a large section for NYX and also carry the popular Peripera lip tint! I'll definitely come back if i'm ever in the urgent need for products or just to try out new things! read more

The store has a wide variety of products, well displayed but very busy. Please review products before buying and know what you want. Attendants at the store are not very helpful, they are rude, and from personal experience they talk and look at you condescendingly. But I guess that's expected from a place like that. Beauty Palace in Diamond Bar has top quality products and the husband and wife who own it are very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I bought my first o hui set there for a great price and they give samples. If you want to buy something with card you have to make a minimum purchase of $10. Fortunately I was able to find the razors I needed at Tokyo lifestyle and there was no minimum purchase needed. When running a business, you need to be personable and sell your product. Definitely didn't get that here. It's neglect of service like this that makes other stores and online shopping a better option. read more

Every product in this store OTHER than the sheet masks is​ extremely​ overpriced! I find almost everything K-Beauty related that I need on Amazon for sometimes half of the price that Maneki Neko sells their items for. This store is a complete rip off and should be shutdown!!! I am going to report them to the better business bureau. The girl with the fake glasses is a total jerk. Every single item rang up in the register way over what was advertised on the shelf. When I told them what the advertised price was, they didn't even try to pretend like it was an error. They just said "yeah I know." So obviously they intended to overcharge me. Luckily, I knew what the prices were supposed to be and caught it. I feel bad for the poor suckers who shop at this store. I happened to stumble upon this gold mine of a cosmetics store on accident while doing some, as my mom always liked to put it : "unnecessary" shopping after walking in and seeing that all the cosmetics I love and search the internet for, were all right here in this cute little store. And if that wasn't enough that they carry my all time favorite eyelashes: Dolly Wink; they go and have the lowest price!! I usually pay $18-$21 for my Dolly Winks [at a store literally down the street...grr.] and here at Maneki Neko, their EVERYDAY price is $15.99! Im sure by now you can tell how excited I am by this from all the !'s after each sentence. But if you're anything like me and one of many girls who love her cutesy, little Japanese products with the big boy price on them, then you'll completely agree with me that Maneki Neko has some amazing deals. And to seal the deal, the guy working there [owner? employee?] was extremely friendly and helpful. There is no one complaint about this store from me. :] read more

I really love it there! I'm korean and I was looking for stuff that is sold in Korea like aritaum, etude house, tony moly, skin food, etc.. but I can never find one and if I do it was always so far away so I always had to buy stuff from drugstores... :( but I found this shop and it made me soooo happy they have a whole bunch of cute stuff that I wanted... it is a little pricey with some stuff but the owner is really nice... she even let me bargain the price haha I didn't have money that day but yeah she's nice the store is nice but a little pricey love it tho you should check it out!!! read more

Maneki Neko is an Asian beauty store in the Westfield Santa Anita Mall. I'm almost never greeted when I walk in but I don't really care. The workers are happy to answer any questions I have anyway. They have a pretty good selection of brands including NYX, LuLuLun, My Beauty Diary, Skin Food, Too Cool For School, Liese, Palty, Bubble&B, Peripera, Crabtree & Evelyn, pa nail polish, OPI, Essie, It's Skin, Shiseido, Bioré, Gatsby, 1 Day Tattoo, and Dolly Wink. The also sell cotton pads, eyelid tape, a lot of shampoo, eyebrow grooming tools and other beauty tools, and they have an aisle of cute gifts in the back. I mostly come here for face masks and Peripera. read more
