What a charming place with delicious food and a fantastic owner!!! We walked in at 6:30 and the place was closing at 7. The owner still managed to make us fresh spaghetti and bake fresh focaccia for our sandwiches. Everything was so flavorful and simply delicious. We chatted about the ingredients he uses and a lot of them are from Italy. We can't wait to go back!

    Affogato

Had the La Schiacciatta Brooklyn panini and it was amazing. The chicken was tender and the broccoli rabe was so fresh. Washed it down with a sacilian cyclope ipa. Everything was so good I had to try the Affogato, it did not disappoint. Definitely try this place

    Mortadella, arancini, cappuccino

Mortadella is very fresh and the arancinis are delicious! Outdoor seating is a plus for dogs

Stopped in Mangia last night right before they closed and the owner, Massimo was incredible! He explained everything on his menu, let me test a few things out and I ended up leaving with 3 new favorite foods! Everything they make is in-house with Sicilian ingredients. The pizza is like none you've ever had before with dough so delicate it melts in your mouth! I tried 2 different Aracini balls and they were so delicious! The one thing that blew my taste buds out of the water was the Cremino di Caffe....it's this creamy espresso drink that was incredible! I will be returning DAILY for that! Also the Granita di Limone (think Limoncello Icee) was also refreshing and delicious!!

So glad to see they are now open. Had the ricotta cheese & eggplant arancina and the spinach & mozzarell arancina. Lightly breaded and generously stuffed! So many other tasty treats and good looking sweet treats. Need to rerun and taste more things.

Mortadella, mozzarella, arugula, pistachio paste on a panino. The mortadella is imported and is the best I ever had. 10/10

Upon arrival my food was hot and ready to go! I ordered the roast beef manhattan for myself and the pot roast melt for my friend. When I tell you the meat is DELICIOUS, I mean it's tender, flavorful and melts in your mouth. The mashed potatoes for the manhattan are super fresh and yummy as well. I also ordered a side of the baked apples. I will say, I do agree that the apples are a bit sweeter than I would have personally liked, but I know a lot of people enjoy them super sweet. My only other small sad note was that I had asked for utensils and bread when I placed my order and I made the mistake of not checking for them before leaving. After I picked up my food I stopped in the gift shop and picked up a few jars of jam and apple butter which I am also very excited to use. The gift shop had a very cozy feel to it and was full of goodies!

That time, we opted to just get a slice of pie to go that I remember being SO good, I KNEW we had to come back eventually for the restaurant. Here we are years later and we were able to get in with no wait. Service was a little slow but she was so funny and cute we didn't really care. We started with one of the giant cinnamon rolls and let me tell you, I've been thinking about it ever since. So warm and delicious and covered in icing!! Good thing I'm not on a diet lol. My husband got some hash bowl with gravy and scrambled eggs and he ate the whole thing. Loved it. It came with a biscuit which was big and warm. I got an omelet with spinach, mushrooms and cheese and it was as big as the plate and so satisfying. We were soooo full at the end, we couldn't even think about dessert. Next time though for sure!!

Our table ordered a couple of dishes: chicken and waffles, southern fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the hitman. The water tasted like it came straight from the water fountain outside the restaurant. Chicken was overly breaded and salty, and the corn cake was sour. I also don't know how they managed to dry out dark meat. The waffle was semi burnt. The shrimp "fried rice" was soggy, vinegary, almost sushi rice like texture, and shrimp was heavily salted. The hitman smashed burger... the hitman probably killed people with the insane amount of salt on the plate. See the theme? Lighten up on the salt unless you're trying to give your customers clogged arteries. Extremely disappointing considering all the great reviews we saw before going.

The "Best Damn Mac and Cheese" is not false advertisement. Wow. Huge portion and worth every $13 penny. I foresee myself craving this in the future and being sad I live in Orlando and can't even Door Dash. I really enjoyed the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict too - though some of my crab had a little fishy taste, but most of it was perfect. The Meyer-lemon hollandaise was creamy, light and just enough citrus flavor. Love it being served on soft foccacia bread with perfectly poached eggs. Service was fantastic! Our server "Erica" was amazing. She made great recommendations and even made a fresh pot of coffee for me, Including an iced version of it to go along with my husband's iced tea. She said portion sizes are even bigger at dinner! We will definitely be back.

They make you feel like part of their family and want to know where you've been. The food is simply delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the servings are plentiful. Today I was in with my daughter and son-in-law for a scrumptious breakfast. Jill - our wonderful server - suggested the seasonal lemon-blueberry waffles and we also got the cinnamon roll pancake. Wow ... wow wow wow ... they were incredible AND the fresh butter created to pair with each was decadent. I also got a western omelette, my daughter eggs Benedict and my son-in-law the 2 egg breakfast. Very little remained on the plates. Their soups are always hot and full of flavor.
