Great service. Pretty small. Has 4 tables but wide variety of slices, drinks even wine and beer. Really cool spot to go to and take your kids after a school pick up. I left my wallet and found that they take Apple Pay . I'll be back for sure

Here we go, So many times I have pass by this little shopping mall and never once stopped and tried this place until my BFF mentioned it. So after going getting our feet done we decided to go to this restaurant. Great decision made. It was completely empty when we got in. The dinning area had just opened so we were the first to enter the dining area. The server name was Crystal. Very polite and helpful. The food was very fresh. Very good I might add. We started with the sliders which was meatball, eggplant and chicken. Amazing. I had ziti with meatballs and my friend had chicken parm. Overall the food was fresh and delicious. I would come back to this place again. It's in a great location. Reasonable prices. Very clean.

Came for my father-in-law's birthday and there were over a dozen of us. We entered through the front door which led to the counter and to the right was the dinning room. We had reservations and were seated immediately once we all arrived. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders, all were soft drinks. Then they gave us some bread , butter and Garlic Bread with Mozzarella - very nice! For my main course I ordered the Penna Fantastica, Penne pasta with chicken, broccoli, and sun-dried tomatoes in a garlic white wine sauce. It was awesome and a large portion. Could not finish and brought it home for another day and it was still very good. Everyone ordered different dishes, too many to mentioned and it seemed all enjoyed their meals. We had brought a birthday cake, they cut it up for us, served us coffee and then gave us some Zeppoles on the house. All the food was great, our waitress was sweet, polite and efficient. We all enjoyed the evening. Will be back if in the area.

Best penne allá vodka around !! They're really good at specialty items !! (Buffalo slices, specialty slices & pinwheels etc) They usually burn& over cook the pizza (even when you tell them to warm it up lightly!) They'll be so much better if they didn't over cook their food!! Please read this!! Don't over cook, nobody wants a burn crust so hard it can cut you I still go here though (I take turns w other locals)

First off this is not my first time eating here. I will NEVER give a place a one star review after trying it once. Everyone is entitled to an off day. This is my THIRD time coming here over the period of 5 years living in this neighborhood and THREE STRIKES YOURE OUT! I absolutely love pizza. It's my all time favorite food. I literally have a slice of pizza tattood on my arm. I know when a shop uses good ingredients, makes their own Sauce, uses quality cheese, quality dough. I know the ins and outs of the pizza game. Mangia is owned by the same people who own North Babylon Deli (which makes s great sandwich and provides great service). I dunno what happened but somehow the apple fell miles from the tree. Every ingredient on this slice is 100% purchased from a mass distributor. You are better off eating pizza at an ice hockey rink. The sauce is very generic with an almost sour taste. The cheese barely has any pull and remains in almost a shredded state as if it cake from a bag (because it's coming from a bag). I always say the rule is the closest pizza shop to your house or job is NEVER good. This holds true as I could throw a vortex football and land it square on the doorstep of Mangia. Take your 2.65 to Nonna Bella's, pizzaiola or even God forbid Mama Sbarro up the road. I dunno how a pizza place that is this terrible could exist on Long island which is Essentially "the land of quality pizza" I'll never make this mistake again and I hope my review saves someone else.

Came recommended. Pizza and garlic knots were burned. Sicilian needed more cheese. Pinwheel was good. Little disappointed.

Cuisine: 6 Service: 5…read moreDecor: 7 Value: 8 Overall: 6 We chose this place due to a show we were watching at a theater steps away. Not a bad Italian restaurant, but there were small issues that did not give us the experience we were hoping for. Heading in, we told the server that we have about 1.5 hour before our show, making sure he is aware. He said, "No problem. Plenty of time." Sadly, throughout the night, we felt ignored a bit even when we were just simply trying to speed up ordering or pay our bill. I know he was busy with a full house, but we weren't asking for too much. Somehow, it took us nearly the full 1.5 hour to finish the meal, hence rushing to the theater barely on time. Another big issue was food that didn't come out hot. At the suggestion of our server, we ordered a combination platter of appetizers. It was huge with six different items and most of it tasted alright. Unfortunately, several items were not hot. Even worse, the shrimps and mussels were cold, which we brought to our servers attention and asked to take that portion of the platter off the bill. He offered replacements, but we had plenty of food and no time to wait for another round of appetizers, so we declined. After another 20 minutes, he brought us new plates of both items, this time hot. We looked at each other and just went with the flow. With that delay, our time was becoming a little more limited. We received our entrees about 45 mins before our show, which is still okay since the theater was a block away. I enjoyed the well made Veal Marsala, which was huge. Keep in mind that food is served in family style portions. The Penne Siciliana was also huge, but nothing special. We also asked for a Caesar Salad, which was decent. With 25 minutes to go, we said okay to checking out the dessert menu. Unfortunately, 10 minutes passed by before our server brought it over. We simply couldn't afford to chance another delay and just asked for the check. Paying for the bill took almost another 10 minutes, which made us rush to our show. Btw, the shrimp and mussels were not removed as we had asked for. We weren't going to fight it. Like I said, well priced Italian restaurant that serves decent food. Just wish the experience would have been a bit smoother.

This is our favorite pizzeria, the food is great! I swear, we are here on a bi-weekly basis!…read more Our first visit was for the Eggplant Ala Vodka rolls (ask for extra Vodka sauce for dipping on the side), since then, we got HOOKED! We also tried their individual pizzas (absolutely amazing, go for the ala vodka and eggplant rolatini). They have so many great pizza options honestly. For dessert, we tried their bombolinis, Nutella pizza, and sugar knots, all are so addictive! Staff is friendly and always do a great job, very fast/efficient. They have a few tables inside, so there is an option for dining in if you please.

The grilled chicken caesar slice was huge and was pretty tasty, I'll definitely reorder. I also tried the tricolor grandma pizza. This slice I'd recommend to everyone as it's better than a regular grandma but not too much different or adventurous. I tried a bite of my boyfriend's hot honey pepperoni pizza and we both thought it was a cool twist on your average pepperoni. Lastly, I highly recommend the garlic knots, most places just have tasteless dough with oil on top, but this was actually soft, fluffy bread with the garlic taste throughout the entire garlic knot. I'm very picky about them so I was happy with what I got. Nothing about the exterior of the pizzeria is special and it's in a busy plaza, so I never really noticed it. My random gogole search for a chicken caesar slice nearby was how I encountered this place. Overall I'd say this is worth the trip. My only issue is the pizza is quite pricy, I got 3 slices and 4 garlic knots for a little over $20. You're better off just buying an entire pie and splitting it with a group.
