Molto Vino has quickly become one of our favorite date night spots in Babylon village. The atmosphere and food are perfect for a night out with your significant other. The menu is simple and not overwhelming which is something I really appreciate. The ingredients are quality and authentic. We love the Fulton street panini. The paninis are more like calzones because they use their pizza dough. Really unique and delicious with a bit of char from that pizza oven. The meat and cheese boards have these peppers that provide the perfect acidic bite to cleanse your pallet. The pesto gnocchi is homemade, tender and fresh with herbs. The salads are large and full of Mediterranean goodness. The cocktails are amazing with some interesting flavor combinations. One of my favorites at the moment is a mezcal and beet drink. Their espresso martini is also one of the best I've had in the area. For dessert you have to try the tiramisu. It is served in a martini glass and tastes as good as it looks. Pairs well with the espresso martini. The service is excellent and friendly. Josh goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable and full with food and drink. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and cozy with dim lighting. The music is fun with a lot of great throwbacks. Never anything offensive or too loud. It's very inviting and always keeps you wanting to have one more drink. I highly recommend giving Molto Vino a try and maybe I'll see you there! read more

Love this little cute gem in Babylon. My favorite spot to have wine or a cocktail. The place is not huge which is what i like as its boutique and trendy. The vibe and atmosphere is cozy and sexy. The food isnt a huge menu but the food is very good. Love the pasta dishes and the pizzas are great too and the cheese boards are impressive too. The lighting is perfect and they play great music as you are sipping a great cocktail. The wine selections that I've tried all delicious too as they keep getting new ones in to try. Josh is awesome, he's an amazing mixologist and manager. He has a fun personality and is so intruguing to talk to as he is so creative with his drink inventions like an art form. I love the fact that the panels open and make it almost like a semi- outdoor restaurant. I loved the ambiance, decor + set up! We kind of sat ourselves by the windows on their high top bar tables and chairs. When it came to ordering, I was hoping to order an ice pop - prosecco drink but they were out. The server suggested the Lambretto since that was the bartender's handcrafted drink. My sister got the watermelon sangria and BIL got an Old Fashioned. Lambretto: interesting syrupy concoction. I had 0 idea what was in it, but it was refreshing. The syrup and flavor is all at the bottom to make sure to stir it! Watermelon Sangria: surprisingly good - I never really heard of watermelon sangria so I had my doubts but it was delish! Old Fashioned: They didn't have anything other than Jim Bean? so my brother in law drank that but didn't enjoy it The bill was ~$40 for 3 drinks. What a great experience. We are new to the area- we stopped in one night while looking to try a new place for dinner- The staff was so welcoming, the wine was top notch and the food amazing- A couple of weeks later, when deciding where to done for Valentine's and wanting a romantic atmosphere, we both decided that we wanted to revisit Molto Vino- We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and they were even more impressive than the first time!! Not only did they remember us, they noted that we were the first reservation booked for the holiday. The staff was so warm and again, the food and atmosphere were perfect for our special date night! we vowed to each other to make this a monthly stop (at a minimum!!) I came here for a Yelp event and was wow'd by the food and wine selections. Last Thursday night, my wife was at an event show in NYC so I hit up my Yelp bud Jim D to meet for dinner. I'm telling Jim, the pastas are insane and the pizza is krazy good. He said lets do it! Little did I know, there was a Babylon block party happening the night we went to Molto Vino. The kitchen was closed except for pizza. Dang! We ordered a bottle of Montepulciano and a few pizzas. The vino was Molto Sexy and the Margarita pizza fed us quite nicely. I came here after Amanda K R. Told us she was hosting a comedy show here and mentioned we should check it out. We've never been here and thought hey why not! We arrived around 8pm and it is a small quaint place. It can get easily crowded. We had two servers and unfortunately I didn't catch any of their names but they were attentive. Jay O. Started with a Moscow mule I forgot which he ordered lol! They have about 4 or 5 different types here. He really enjoyed it and especially that it wasn't sweet. I went with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc imported from Italy it was crisp and refreshing. They told us about their one special of the day pasta with zucchini and ricotta for $10 dollars. We ordered it and wow delicious! The portion was a bit small but it was filling. We then ordered a 2 meat 2 cheese board. Everything on here was amazing as well! I found it to be a bit pricey I believe 34 dollars compared to other establishments I've been to and have ordered the same thing. The jam served with the bread really good as well! I decided to come here on a whim and ended up having a pretty great time. The waiters here automatically welcomed us in. It was a cold day, and they offered to seat us by the heat. I ended up ordering a bottle of Amicone and a margherita pizza, no cheese, half tomato and half pesto, with olives and roasted red peppers. Both the food and the wine were great! They did bring out the pizza of the person I went with before mine, so they were almost done with their pizza by the time mine came. Service was great otherwise though. When my pizza came out with toppings only on one side, they even offered to remake it -- which of course I didn't want, just more toppings for the other area. I would definitely come back here. The small, tailored menu has always been good but since the start of their newest chef- things have really been next level. In all honesty, I don't typically order pasta at restaurants but their handmade, fresh, and unique dishes keep me coming back for more! Not to mention their awesome salads and brick oven pizzas. The burrata pizza is something I dream about. Add crumbled sausage? Easily my favorite dish at Molto to enjoy with a "surprise" wine selected by the waiter. .....however, my REAL obsession with Molto Vino starts and ends with their charcuterie. I love coming here because it has such a nice intimate setting perfect for a night with friends, and also a first date. The service is really great. The place has never been so packed that I couldn't find a place to sit or felt like people were on top of me. Two of our friends had a party to get to and didn't expect our dinning experience to be 3 hours long, they had to leave before receiving any food because of how late this made them. When our food finally did arrive the baked clams were ice cold, the pasta was hard as a rock due to being undercooked, etc. You'd think after 2 people having to get up and leave from our party without eating, the manager would comp a drink or something. Our waiter was very sweet and apologetic but management really should have stepped in and provided us with anything. My favorite little pizza spot. I've been here 3 times and I just love the food. Pizza is so tasty, it reminds me of Italy (went twice), thin crust and fresh tomato sauce. I ordered eggplant parmigiana, arugula salad, and Margherita pizza. Everything was so good. They also have a good wine selection. I usually get the Chardonnay. The only downside is that it's a small restaurant. I went here on Friday and I had to wait 30 mins for a seat. It really didn't bother me since the food is worth the wait. Staff is friendly as well. Molto Vino is a nice wine bar in the village of Babylon that is a nice place for a date, meet up with friends. It does get crowded and there are not many tables, but in the summer they have an outdoors area which is cute. I love coming here for dinner with my friends if we're in the mood for wine and a lighter dinner. We always split a bottle of wine - and the waiter or waitress is always knowledgable and has never steered us wrong of a bad wine. As far as dinner - we always get the 3 cheese plate as the burrata is absolutely delicious! The manchengo cheese is also very good. We had the Brie and weren't HUGE fans of it but it was pretty good.
