We buy certain seasonings and oils only from TJ's as well as cheese and other items. If I list them all, you'll get bored. I absolutely never leave Trader Joe's without fresh flowers for our apartment. It's a TJ ritual that dates back more than a decade for me. Heck, way back in the day (over a decade) when visiting friends in L.A., I would always get flowers for their places from TJ. Anyway, back to the reason you're reading this-you want to know my thoughts on the location and nothing more. So, as I mentioned I don't like the other store for reasons of chaos. This store gets super busy too but parking is much better since there's a decent lot. It's easy to navigate through the store and get to all our favorite things. Service is always typical TJ friendly. Happy and with smiles. Products and shelves are always in stock and filled. Extremely clean store. It's worth the drive out of the city to the 'burbs for this store location.

They offer a second Organic Farm Stand in Jonestown TX (between Cedar Park and Lago Vista, on 1431 and Jonesbrother Road downtown Jonestown ) on Saturday morning from 9am - 1pm, closing for one summer and one winter break. They have the best vegetables I've ever had! The farm itself is located in Jonestown, it is Organic and the farmers are wonderful. They publish a newsletter blog weekly (except during their vacations). I recommend receiving their blog, it is one of the best out there. The farm stand is usually crowded and certain items go quickly. This is not a Farm Market with multiple vendors, just Angel Valley Farms. Only Organic. Only what is in season. Everything is fresh, just picked, right here, locally. I love this farm! Organic produce is not cheap, I believe their prices are "normal", maybe a little lower than other produce found here in town. But what you get, is amazing; tomatoes, brocolli, beets, swiss chard, squash, onions when they are in season. When they have honey once a year, you can purchase local honey made by bees who live on their farm using those very vegetable flowers and wildflowers.

Our waiter was friendly but clearly overwhelmed with too many tables. We couldn't get his attention when we needed him. Bussers were no help--they dropped items and rushed back inside, ignoring attempts to flag them down. We accidentally ordered two "family-style" salads because no one explained it. That pretty much sums up the service: rushed, unclear, and inattentive. If you need anything--water, utensils, clarification--you have to interrupt them mid-drop-off or you won't get it. The prices don't match the experience. Food was decent, but portions and sides were disappointing. We got four tortillas for four people and couldn't get more. My steak had a great sauce but nothing to eat it with--no rice, no beans, nothing. For the price, that's ridiculous. Parking is also a hassle. Very little self-parking, and valet is pushed hard. The most frustrating part? As we left, there was plenty of staff standing around inside. Meanwhile, the patio--where service actually needed help--was understaffed and chaotic.
