I'm unhappy. We ordered pizza tonight 4/28. It took them 45 minutes to bring the pie. It came with 10 minutes left to eat. The waitress set it down and asked if we needed a box; we asked how we would know. Well, she told another customer that they close at 8:00. When she said that we were eating our first slice of pizza. Mind you, the pizza was excellent. But how can you enjoy it when you're feeling rushed? The waitress piled on by saying, when asked how many are out there, "just that one." Not "a couple," or "the wife and husband." No, we were "that one." She clearly was in a terrific hurry. We will not be back. read more

Excellent dining option for singles, couples and families. There are tables that can seat at least 8 and tables for as little as two. The staff is friendly. The menu is homestyle Italian and everything sounds appealing. I stopped in for the Meatball Stuffed Loaf and it did not disappoint! Massive meatballs, stuffed into a crusty loaf of freshly baked bread. The bread is soft on the inside, but not so much that all the delicious red sauce and rich melty cheese make it soggy. The sauce is somewhat sweet, but not that kind of sweet that lingers and makes you not appreciate the flavors of the tomatoes and seasonings. I really don't even like meatball subs, but something about these lured me in... I'm glad, because they're incredible and you should definitely stop in and have one! *Mangino's is an hour from my house and I made the drive 4 times in 2023, simply for the meatball stuffed loaf and french fries! I'll stop at a few of the waterfalls in the area to make it a day, but I'm making the trip for the loaf. I've purchased extras to bring home to my family and they were enjoyed as much as my fresh one. read more

They have very good pizza, roni rolls, and pizza greens. I've been eating Mangino's since I was a kid at their Motown location. The new restaurant is very nice inside and from time to time we enjoy sitting down and having a pizza. Every is always very nice and welcoming. Can get a bit pricey although it is very much worth it. read more

The stuffed loaf is everything you never knew you needed in your life. Do yourself a solid and indulge. It's worth every bite! I promise! Everything else on the menu sounds delicious but we order the same thing each time we've come. In all fairness, we drove an hour so it's not like a weekly stop for us. Called to ask if this restaurant offers gluten free pizza. Was told that they do (though it's not indicated anywhere on the website menu) and when asked if there was a separate prep and cooking space (to include a separate cooking sheet, utensils, etc) whomever was on the phone with me disrespectfully laughed, and said "I've never heard of such a thing." It's apparent that Manginos hires incompetent, disrespectful employees who have absolutely no regard for dietary restrictions, particularly for those with celiac disease which is an autoimmune disorder that does not have a treatment other than staying away from all gluten products. Fyi, if a person unintentionally consumes gluten products, this CAN increase the risk of cancer over time. Manginos, do better - educate your staff on celiac disease, and hire people that are respectful. Absolutely DISGUSTING behavior by this employee for NO reason. read more

Will never come back! My first and last experience. First wasn't the end of the world but I was confused on which end to order my food I stood in line when a blond lady ignored my wheel chaired client and myself. Again no big deal I was embarrassed to have stood in line once to be ignored so we lined up again and this time another blond lady helped us. I informed her of this and she apologized then served us a cold refrigerated Stromboli. By this point my client and I were done, how disrespectful. First were ignored then served cold food. An apology and a refund wasn't even the beginning of enough to feel welcomed back. And honestly the gray hair man I'm assuming was the owner seemed happy to hear we would never be back. I absolutely love this place restaurant is always clean and very friendly and prompt service . ! I wish I could go more often , so I could try more things. I get the ravioli and meatball every time because it is sooooo good ! The meatballs are so tender and I don't usually like red sauce out , but I love theirs - we also had the garlic knots which were so delicious too . They have a case of so many different pizzas to choose from that they heat up to order . We were in the area to get my birth certificate and had time to kill decided to grab a quick lunch and this was close by. Perfect choice and timing we just beat the lunch rush. It was very clean and organized. The menu is on a large wall with great descriptions. So many homemade options it's tough decision. My mom got pizza special and I had meatballs on garlic knots. I regret not getting the pepperoni rolls to take home as they sold out. I wish it was closer to go back. Very popular spot. read more

We ordered take-out from this establishment one evening. Calling was easy, and we gave them at least 2 hours advance notice. Despite this, picking up our order was still difficult. We had to wait en extra 15 minutes to get our order, and we even arrived a bit later than our pick up time. That would be our only complaint, because once we got our food everything was good. The Order was correct, and everything was fantastic. Wish ordering was easier but will definitely be ordering from this place again. read more

Omg these Garlic sauce Wings were fantastic! Just a thick layer of minced garlic lather over the wings which sink to the bottom of the dish (then I grabbed a spoon and slurped the garlic paste!) Can't wait to be back in town and try my next food item! read more

New Castle is crazy about french fries. They are in, on, and beside most dishes. Ok with me! Especially when they are tasty like these fries were. Lamb salad- menu description says it consists of romaine, iceberg, olives, tomatoes, fries, lamb, and- provolone? I had to search for any cheese. I chose bleu cheese dressing and it was good quality with chunks of cheese. The lamb was good, with enough for leftovers for tomorrow. Hubby got the Philly steak sandwich. Fresh roll, tasty steak, peppers and onions, but again- where's the cheese? Skimpy. Only reason for the 4*. He ordered a small side of fries, which was huge! Again- they'll reheat tomorrow. Make your choice and they heat it up for you while you pay. You can eat at tables or take lunch to go. If you have friends meeting for lunch, you can order a variety of sandwiches, soup, or desserts. This Sunday we went for an early lunch at Mangino's. Since they opened they have been packed during dining hours. Fortunately we got in before the crowd that day. We had the wedding soup, lasagna, garlic and oil pasta, homestyle pizza and garlic rolls - all were delicious! The serving sizes are quite generous and came out piping hot. The only thing I will mention is that when dining in, you may want to consider calling in your order ahead of time (if possible) unless you have time to burn. We were informed when we ordered that the pizza would be 35 minutes. Fortunately we weren't in a rush at all and we just enjoying each other's company. The dining area is nice and offers many seating options - tables, booths, high top tables, etc. they have an extensive variety of Italian favorites including prepackaged Italian cookies if possibly have any room after you eat (or take home for later I suppose). read more

I ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil sauce to go. When I got my order home, cut off the Saran Wrap, opened it, it was spaghetti with tomato sauce. I would say please check your order before you leave the restaurant but it is wrapped. I really wanted the garlic and oil sauce. read more
