Typically we will grab a small cup of cheese also for the fries. But they have a lot of good options. Service has always been pretty good. It's nice inside but can get busy and you might not find a seat at the bar. Since they have come to New Castle this has been a nice place although it can be a bit pricey at times. The food portions do accommodate for the prices though.

Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.

I hate to call anyone out, but a few in the area come to mind as classic examples of places that drop frozen appetizers in the fryer and call it done. Front Door, Back Door, Standard, or 410, the Log Cabin Inn outclasses every single one of them with food that is original and well prepared. There weren't that many lobster pieces for the price, like 3 or 4 decent-sized chunks, and the mac and cheese itself was pretty bland. The fish sandwich was the best part but I still wasn't wow-ed; I was also charged $1 for one slice of american cheese. I'm fine with paying extra for things, that just seemed excessive. The hush puppies and fries were clearly just frozen, and the fries were cold.
