This spot was packed when I arrived on a weekday for lunch. This is a secret local spot for sure! Menu items are fresh and made to order with quality ingredients. I ordered the Hawaiian sandwich (crab and shrimp salad) served on the most amazing banana roll bread I've ever had. My lunch included blue tortilla chips and a slice of cantaloupe! Great selection of fresh pressed juices and smoothies. Pricey for lunch, but you get QUALITY!

So fresh, so creative. Great service, too! We sat outside, got seated immediately. They had a gazpacho feature that I forgot to order but wanted it so bad. I got the tuna poke bowl with avocado and a blended chai tea latte with the brown sugar boba, so yummy!

We came here for lunch and they had a nice vegan selection as well as non vegan too. My daughter and I had the mushroom cheese wrap and my son in-law had the hamburger . Our food was delicious and the service was excellent . Seating can be inside or out in the patio .

Lots of gluten free and healthy choices. Curry tuna is on point. The quiche is a tragic excuse for a quiche. Service is okay but you can tell they are a tip pooled establishment no one is in a rush whatsoever. Prices are a bit high for the food and setting. Coffees are delicious! I had a cafe latte and took one to go as well. Cute outside seating with heaters so that's nice with this cold weather. Overall would go back.

Delicious! We were with a group of 5 so we had a pretty good collection of entrees to sample. The breakfast burrito was served fresh and had a little spice to it. The oatmeal and yogurt are great light options and were also wonderful. My dad said the breakfast tacos were the best he has ever had. Our server was kind and helpful, food was prompt, and the restaurant was not overly crowded! We'll be back!

Well, well, well! We finally found our lunch place! Yuuuumy!!! Right in town too! Extra delicious fresh homemade food! Reminds us of a place we used to eat in Seattle! The flavors were incredible and we actually felt like we were eating healthy! The place was busy, busy and they're open For lunch and not dinner. The service was over-the-top excellent and friendly and fun! We will definitely go back over and over!

We love this place. Great choices for some healthy food. The chill pill juice was great. It comes in a bottle, drink some and bring some home. They have yummy breakfast selections. Vegan available. This is the quinoa protein bowl. Fruit side is nice and fresh.

My husband and I just love this place! So much so ,we always bring visiting company here at least once. It's casual outdoor and indoor dining. They have an ever changing, healthy to hearty interesting menu with a European flair. I have never been disappointed with my choice. And I also often stop in for a yummy espresso . We went there for lunch today and it was fantastic! I am gluten free and they had quite a few items including desert that were gluten free. The staff was very friendly and even told us we could bring our dogs out on the patio instead of leaving them in the truck with it running. Service was good and food was excellent. Will come back again for sure. read more

I M a local and we have limited places to eat in Englewood, well, eat good food that is. Mango Bistro has nice good, gourmet, clean, fresh food however, they are getting skimpy on the food and high on the prices. I have been there many times, last time I had the salmon wheels, usually delicious on spinach tortilla...but the fruit and sun chips were missing this time. Get back to fair portions and I will continue to go because the food is good. read more

We have had many very good lunches and dinners ay Mango Bistro since they opened several years ago on Dearborn Street in Englewood. The atmosphere is a fun and quirky euro-chic, and the food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The service is very good and has continued to be so as the restaurant has become more popular and busy. There is entertainment on Saturday evenings, and when the weather is nice, it is great fun to eat at one of the outside tables. The last time we ate dinner there, we arrived early, and were treated to a two for one wine special. I had a delicious Pinot Grigio that our server said was one of the house wines. Along with a salmon appetizer that was very flavorful and nicely presented, I had a really scrumptious crepe filled with eggplant, tomato, and cheeses. Although Mango Bistro has increased its prices for entrees from the early days, it is still very reasonable and remains a good value. It is great to have Mango Bistro in town, and it has become our favorite local eatery! read more

Good and unique food. Crepe's, salads, wraps. Ive tried several things and I liked them all. Their appetizer plate of fruit, cheese, and hummus platter are awesome! They also have these cute little desserts that come in a glass slightly larger then a shot glass in all different flavors mixing puddings, chocolate, cake, tirimisu ect. very cute and perfect size to top off a great lunch. I really like the mahi wrap with mango sauce. good! Live music on the weekend. read more

I have Celiac's Disease. Four of us went to lunch on Saturday. The menu has many gluten-free choices including hamburger buns and bread. I ordered The Cuban with the gluten- free bun. I was very specific about having a sever gluten allergy. All seemed fine until a couple hours later. I was so sick. The onset and symptoms were exactly what happens when I have eaten gluten. However, I haven't been that sick in over 5 years, which indicates I ingested a large amount of gluten. I would never recommend this restaurant if you have Celiac's. read more

Texas bbq has always been at the top of my list after traveling and working in Texas for decades and experiencing what I think is some of the best on the planet. I admit my expectations were pretty high long before I walked through the door here - just from the exterior and interior ambiance I immediately knew these people are serious bbq people and some of the friendliest you'll ever meet. In my opinion eating bbq should be an experience yes the meat preparations are of the utmost most importances but the sides, and desserts also have to be on point as well and of course fresh brewed tea. I wanted to try it all which is not reasonable so I read the menu, scanned the daily specials board(s) and also considered the recommendations by our wonderful server. We enjoyed some great sandwiches and sides and couldn't of had a better lunch during our drive through southwest Florida. Chopped Brisket Sandwich - the bun was fresh and toasted perfectly so it held up to the sauce that I drenched on the beautifully smoked meat, the lean to fat ratio was absolutely perfect and the smoked flavors came through making this one of the best bbq sandwiches I've eaten in a very long time. Pulled Pork Sandwich - the perfectly smoked pork was piled high and very lean, this is a big and delicious work of art. We ordered the sauce on the side so we could control the portion and it worked out great. Pinto Beans - these beans are cooked down until they melted into the smooth and creamy broth that was filled with onions and jalapeño peppers - these are a must try especially if you top them with some fresh raw onion and a few dashes of the Tabasco Pepper Vinegar table side the only thing I regret is that I didn't get a quart of these to take back to the campground. Fried Okra - Crispy deliciousness a southern delicacy served with ranch dressing, this combination is never a disappointment when done right and they do the okra right here. It was nice to get pickles and raw onions on the side, in my opinion if a bbq joint misses this step they don't understand what a bbq experience should be. We really enjoyed our meals here and appreciated the hospitality from the staff, great food, great service all at a reasonable price is always a winning combination, this is definitely a place I hope to return to soon...

To be honest, I am a little shocked by the reviews below. The only reason I can think of that people would not enjoy the food at Mango Bistro would be because they were expecting large quantities of fried food or perhaps safe and uncreative options. Please don't allow a few misguided reviewers keep you from atleast trying and deciding for yourself about Mango Bistro - it's worth it! No. This is not your typical Englewood, FL restaurant - if that's what you're hoping for, then this is not the place for you. However, if you like hand crafted meals with fresh and real ingredients then please stop in to Mango Bistro. I have been to Mango Bistro countless times and never get the same thing. The menu always offers something creative, healthy, and delicious. The service is wonderful and consistent and it is always a pleasure to eat at Mango bistro. Stop in on a Friday or Saturday evening to listen to some wonderful music and maybe have a glass of wine (ask Ricardo for recommendations, he'd love to help you find Wine that is really great quality but still cheaply priced. He knows his wines!). I think Mango Bistro is the #1 rated restaurant in Englewood - and for a reason. The food is DELICIOUS, the atmosphere is fun and colorful, and the service is reliable. The owners seem to know many people by name and its great to go to a quality restaurant that is fun and local. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Englewood area. read more

Wonderful catering experience! We live out of state and were looking for a local restaurant that could cater a small amount of food for a family friend with some medical issues. Both Maria and Ricardo were wonderful to deal with. Maria customized a menu that would easily keep and stay fresh for a few days to feed the family. She was so helpful with her suggestions. Ricardo made sure (even in a tropical storm with no power!) to get my invoice to me quickly so that I could pay and the order was delivered to them the next day. Mango Bistro is a wonderful place to take out-of-town guests to show off the best of Olde Englewood Village on Dearborn Street. They serve crepes, wraps, salads and soups. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. Their wine choice by the glass or by the bottle is excellent. The outdoor patio seating provides a very European feeling. But the best part of Mango's is the music! Friday and Saturday evenings you can hear terrific music... often with an international flair. Dancing is impromptu and intimidating. For fun, laughter, good food and good music, I recommend Mango Bistro. read more

Came across this place from Yelp by typing in healthy. WOW am I glad I did. This place is delicious. Everything was super fresh, the consistency, serving portion, presentation, prices etc etc. Staff was super friendly. I thin I may go back for lunch in the next few days or just to get a smoothie. The freshest and healthiest food around. They have a great gluten free menu also that tastes good, which is very hard to find. I've only ordered take out but it has always been good and correct. read more

I love Mango's Bistro, awesome Lobster Bisque, great salads and wraps. Relaxing lunch atmosphere and fun evening scene with great local music. Oh, and their wine selection is pretty good too. read more
