Love this place! I've tried most of their menu items (which are all delicious) but noticed there were no reviews or photos for this particular soup, the Papaya Snow Fungus w. Almond. The name is very peculiar, so I'm sure it attracted other people's attention. I took the plunge and tried it myself. Very delicious, and probably the most natural and healthiest offering on the menu. Definitely get it hot (it was less appetizing as it cooled down). The broth is mildly sweet and includes two dates, chopped almonds and slices of papaya. The fungus is white and cabbage-like in texture with little to no taste. The closest thing I can compare it to in terms of taste is plain pasta. Overall I recommend! Don't be scared of the fungus! read more

First time coming to mango mango at the rainbow location. Automatically when we wqlked we were greeted by Rizzael with a big smile. Also wasn't sure about what to order and Rizzle took her time explaining the menu with no rush. I decided to try the coconut mango juice sago and pomelo (A2); and I must say it was very delicious and I recommend trying this. We also tried the mango strawberry smoothie and that was amazing. Omg! A friend recommended this place ,and this is our new go to for dessert . I love mangoes and is sweet ,not sour . I love everything we tried .We tried the Mango cloud and 4 others . All yummy ! Wish we could've dined in to enjoy the cute space but it'll have to wait til next time. It was super crowded on a Friday night! Ordered the lychee rose tea and this was delicious!! Tasted so refreshing, light and not super artificial. Would come back for this drink. Tried a sip of my brother's taro drink, which was pretty good but ironically I'm used to the artificial versions at other spots so if you like that "rooty" flavor, this one is for you. Also had some of the mango Mille crepe cake, which we really enjoyed (mango flavor was pretty light). Had a few bites of the mango juice sago and pomelo, which was so tasty & never disappoints. The decor in here is so cute and definitely Instagram worthy. I've been here twice and the desserts did not disappoint. The mango pancake was my favorite. The cream was light and the mango flavor was strong and it was wrapped in a thin crepe. My only complaint is regarding the service. It seems the workers are unorganized and when you walk in, you don't really know where to go. There's an option for pick up/to go only, but if you want to dine-in, you awkwardly stand there until one of the workers greet you. It seems that this could easily be resolved if they had a hostess stand, but due to the size and how busy the place can get, that may not be feasible. However, once you overcome that obstacle, the overall experience is pleasant. read more

As soon as you walk in, you see all the pretty pink flowers and beautiful brightness the place has. We sat at a table and went over the vast menu. Mangos are in season, so I made sure to focus on mango items. I chose the mango Mille crepe cake. The flavor was so amazing. It was like I was eating a real and ripe mango but made of crepe cake. It was absolutely delicious. I'm craving it now as I write this. The fresh fruit with coconut juice was also very delicious and refreshing. The service was good too. Treats were delicious! When I walked in the place was empty. I used the self checkout to order my treats. So tell me why I got kicked out from a cute booth I was sitting only because a bigger party that walked in about 10 minutes after me needed that booth. The employee told me are you to go or eating in? I said eating in. She then goes and tells me I need to move because the bigger party need the booth. I'm sorry but there is no reservation signs anywhere. Every seat is set up as FCFS. I had even taken videos to make a cute review but I was so disappointed and frustrated with the way treated a paying customer. Idk that to me is very unprofessional. I would suggest to only order take out unless you want to get kicked out and moved to the chairs by the restrooms. read more

On our trip back to California, I thought I can't make it to this dessert. What a surprise that it was next to the noodle place I would like to try. Woohoo. Two birds in one stone. A lot of great choices on mango desserts. The manager or the owner, she was very friendly. She recommended our family their recent sharing product shaved ice after seeing we were struggling on the choices. It was the most delicious shaved ice we ever tried. The mango pieces were very sweet and love the rice ball. For the shaved ice itself, it was mango flavor not the ice with mango syrup. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to try it! Who doesn't love mango desserts? Mango Mango specializes in, you guessed it, all things mango. We came here for the first time and got a couple of mango desserts. A sago and crepe cake. I can't say it's the top mango dessert I've had in Vegas. Hands down I'd choose Hui Lau Shan over here. But if you're in the Southwest this is convenient. The crepe cake tasted old and the layers were soggy. The sago was better than the cake. Seating is ok. We haven't been back yet but maybe they'll be better next time. read more

Stopped by last week and picked up a mango sticky rice and a watermelon drink. These are two items you can never go wrong with. Restaurant is cute, has a handful of tables. Staff are friendly, plenty of parking. Prices are decent. I love anything mango and anything watermelon but they have a nice selection of other flavors, as well. I was excited to finally try Rainbow Kitchen during my parents' visit this past week after saving this spot for quite some time. Reading about their m 40+ years specialized in the Cantonese cuisine, especially their emphasis on made-to-order dim sum, raised my expectations. First, I am genuinely glad to see them doing well after taking over the restaurant in 2020. The restaurant was packed when we arrived around 12:30pm on Tuesday, June 23, which is always encouraging to see. There are a few live seafood tanks as expected for this style of Cantonese restaurant. Prices run slightly higher than some dim sum spots, but nothing unreasonable. The standouts were excellent. The Steamed Shrimp & Chive Dumplings had thin wrappers with just enough dough to hold everything together while allowing the freshness and flavor of the filling to shine. The Baked Pineapple Lava Bun was one of the best I have had in quite a while. Too often these buns are mostly bread with very little filling, but these had a generous amount of salted egg yolk lava filling. The Soy Sauce Pan Fried Noodles may sound simple, but many restaurants butcher this dish. Rainbow Kitchen executed it well. These three items alone are worth ordering again and are easy recommendations. Most of the other dishes we tried were perfectly acceptable but nothing particularly memorable. They were fine, though not items we would reorder. Our biggest disappointment was actually the one item we ordered from the regular menu: Salted Fish Fried Rice. As lovers of traditional Cantonese salted fish fried rice, we were genuinely excited to see it on the menu. The first order arrived incorrectly with only chicken. We specifically requested only salted fish, no chicken, because we're OG like that. When the dish was remade, there were barely any pieces of salted fish (look at my clip), and both the aroma and signature salty flavor were missing. We could neither smell nor taste the salted fish. Unfortunately, we sent it back and asked for it to be removed from our bill. The staff handled the situation professionally and patiently, which we appreciated. One note for future diners: the printed menu hours inside the restaurant differed from the Yelp listing, so it is worth calling ahead to confirm. The good news is that they are open seven days a week. Overall, Rainbow Kitchen is a solid made-to-order dim sum spot for a few specific dishes, but across the menu the food landed around a 3/5 for us. However, the longer the sauce stayed out, the more it coagulated suggesting that maybeit wasn't as well-made and mixed as first thought. It was a delicious sauce and went really well with the fried rice. The pork fried rice was the best thing we had. It was perfect. There was lots of pork, there was a great blend of soy sauce and other sauces to give it flavors, there were veggies that added to the body of the rice....it was REALLY good. The Szechuan style chicken was ok. We were warned that it was dry, but it was really dry....they fried the chicken separately and added it to the peanuts and the chilis after. I don't particularly enjoy the numbing sensation from the Szechuan chilies, but I was surprised that I enjoyed this dish more than I thought. We probably won't order it again because we need a tiny bit more gravy in our dry dishes. The sake was excellent! Pricing wise, it is still pricey but mid-tier when compared to other restaurants in the Palazzo. We liked it enough that we will probably come back to try more of their items.

Not only was my food/dessery yummy, but I came on here to talk about the lady who took my order. I believe her name was Kylie, the young lady who has piercings on her ears. When I came to this place for the first time a little after grand op I had ordered take out and sadly my mango sticky rice was packaged in a way that it got messy and destroyed by the time I got home. I had mentioned this to Kylie and she said she was sorry to hear that and was very understanding and had even offered to double check everything with me before handing it to me. Tina, Venus, and Katrina stopped by for a mango dessert date and it did NOT disappoint! The mango ice cream was incredibly creamy and rich with real mango flavor not too sweet, just perfectly refreshing. The fresh mango chunks were juicy and sweet, and the drizzle on top made it even better. We also loved the presentation served in a cute glass dish with a wafer roll on the side, it looked just as good as it tasted. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, and the texture combination of smooth ice cream and soft mango pieces was amazing.
