I wished I had discovered this sooner so it can be my dinner before a show at Red Rocks. Everything…read morewas quite delicious and well done. The presentation is incredible. We loved that everytime we ordered rice, it would come out in a different shape from a flower to Snorlax to a bear. It was a fun what will we get next. The food was delicious. When the curry came out, I was skeptical because the portion was so small but when you eat it with rice, it's a nice combination and you'll get full. The curry is super flavorful. The pad Thai was good but I think I'll opt for the regular pad Thai instead next time. The appetizers were a nice sampler of everything but the chicken satay. We did order the chicken satay and the peanut sauce was so good with it. The larb salad was also super flavorful. The sticky rice mango dessert was also a nice way to end the meal. It's small but the sticky rice was like maybe sweet pea protein or butterfly pea (something that makes it blue). And the Thai iced tea with lime was super refreshing on a summer evening. I liked the decor. Staff is super friendly. From credentials, the chef graduated from a top culinary school in Thailand. We can't wait to come back. It's also only 10 min away from Red Rocks too.

Nestled near Colorado Mills right off of Colfax lies this little Thai gem. I found out about Klom…read moreKlorm from the Crazy Asians Facebook group, touting it was very authentic...so I put it in my calendar and went the next day lol The interior is nicely decorated and seating is arranged so that you have a great view of the open kitchen. I was greeted and seated immediately upon arrival, and was shocked at the breadth of the menu!!! They offer so many dishes!!! I was only able to snap a few photos of the menu, but they have a full menu online. I decided on getting 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, and 1 drink. I ended up ordering the fried tofu, pork Pad Thai, and an Iced Thai tea. Fried Tofu appetizer $10 5/5 They fry the tofu for at least 6 minutes (per the owner and chef) which gives the outside this delicious shell that makes the most mouthwatering crunch sound when you bite into it. You'd almost think it was fried chicken! It's accompanied by a sweet and sour peanut sauce that gives the tofu this combination of flavors and textures in the mouth. It's a very playful and delightful dish. Pad Thai Noodles $17 4.5/5 Very authentic, and it lets the sauce do the talking without being overly overpowering. The tamarind is forward and present, not hidden by overt sweetness. It complements the noodles well, which are a nice medium thickness, which are easy to eat without soaking up too much sauce. A *little* bit pricey for my single-person budget, but it's honestly worth the splurge every once in a while! Iced Thai Tea with milk $6 (I got this on the house when I mentioned this group!!!) 5/5 Delicious! They also offer it with a lime juice base! So make sure to specify which base you want, if they don't ask. Final Words: I'm so so happy to have an amazing Thai place in SW Denver!! The menu is extensive, so I'm going to have fun exploring all of the dishes. I loved chatting with the owners, and it's very evident they know authentic Thai cuisine. I'll definitely be adding this to my work lunch rotation!! Please go support them and keep this place busy and thriving!!! Edit to add: they're closed on Wednesdays!

Close to Lookout Mountain, this is a great stop! Five stars across the board!…read more Food: was fantastic - between the 4 of us, we tried the brisket sandwich (tender and delicious with the pickles and picked red onions), pork ribs (meaty, flavorful and tender, my son's favorite), pulled pork on nachos (tasty and fresh). Had to have a Coors Light while in Golden, CO! Sides of Mac and cheese, baked beans, vinegar Cole slaw and potato salad were all freshly made, clean tasting, and added quality to each meal! Service: attentive and hospitable. You order at the counter and they bring out the trays from the kitchen. Every member was knowledgeable in explaining the multiple sauces and went out of the way to attend to every question or request. Love the casual vibes, from picking up your own utensils to cleaning up your own trays. Excellent service. And they were appreciative of our patronage. Ambiance: clean restaurant all around, cool casual vibes with a great outdoor patio side facing the sun and mountains. Well worth the stop, best bbq in Golden CO, indeed! 5

Stairmaster to Heaven (The BBQ Kind) They say distance makes…read morethe heart grow fonder, but in this case, a 30-minute drive and a second-story climb mostly just made us hungry. We were strongly motivated by a lunch date with our daughter and her husband, and apparently, the 'Seasoned Swine' experience starts with a mandatory pre-meal cardio session. If you aren't ready to hit the stairs, you aren't ready for the Swine. The Atmosphere (2 Stars): It's a bit like a sports bar that forgot to buy the TVs. Plenty of high-top tables to perched upon, and a bathroom door that refuses to close--perfect for those who enjoy a 'communal' dining experience in every sense of the word. The Service (3 Stars): Standard 'pay-to-play' setup. You order at the register, pay upfront, and hope for the best. Functional, but don't expect a candlelit serenade. The Food (5 Stars): This is where the magic happens. Three of us tackled the 'Swinoceros' plate--a meat-sweat-inducing mountain of the menu's highlights--while our fourth went for the pulled pork 'sammie.' The Candied Ribs: Out of this world. I'm pretty sure these are illegal in several states. Absolute perfection. The Burnt Ends: Moist, flavorful, and worth the drive alone. The Supporting Cast: The pulled pork, sliced turkey, brisket, and jalapeño cheddar sausage were all good. Even the sides--the OC Mac and Cheese and baked beans--were terrific. The Rolls: The three sweet rolls were... well, they were rolls. They were there. The Verdict: If you can survive the stairs, the awkward bathroom situation, and the DIY service, the food is a total knockout. I came for the family, but I'd stay for those candied ribs.
