I started ordering a take-away order online, but ended up showing it to the staff, who then entered the order in her computer. There was another employee who was walking around and just started staring, which was a little strange. The order was an XL cheese pizza, extra cut, light sauce and well done. It was just perfect. I wanted to keep eating more, but had to stop after four slices. We came around lunch time so the place was full when we came. The staff walked around and cleaned the tables as customers left, which is always a plus. There is plenty of parking shared by neighboring stores and restaurants. Would I return? Probably. read more

They have remodeled since my last visit and it is nice and bright inside. Most of their business seems to be carry out and/or delivery but the seating area inside is pretty nice and all of the tables not being used by a patron or staff were clean and the business smelled like a pizza restaurant. Trash cans were covered and not overflowing. Whoever ran the line for the coke machine when the Coke distributor install it was sloppy. That doesn't really matter to me. There are comfortable chairs for you to wait on your takeout if you have to wait. Service is fast and there is never a wait by the time I drive there. The young lady at front is nice and knowledgeable on what they make. The guys in the back make things pretty fast. The food quality and price are reasonable. I'll start by saying, I've always loved Manhattan Pizza . I've never ordered from this location before but I've ordered from Herndon and Sterling. The service and plain intelligence from the female staff member at this location was terrible. I called to place an order, but before I ordered, I ensured they can deliver to my house . While I was giving the lady taking my order my expiration date on my credit card, she didn't even know what number month July was in the year and asked me to tell her what number it was... Like... at least attempt to save some face, I can't see you over the phone so just count on your fingers and try not to sound so dumb. I placed my order and 35 minutes later they call me telling me they have to void my order because I'm too far away. I stated, "this was the whole reason why I called first to see if you could deliver to my house." Now I'm angry & hungrier! They couldn't make any exceptions to the rule and I asked them why they couldn't call me immediately after discovering this issue and they said their phones didn't work at the pizza joint. Total lie . Let's sum this up... they're unintelligent, they're liars, they lack customer service decorum and a company telephone; that is less advanced than their smart phones, are defeating them. I guess it's one of the special phones that can only receive calls as opposed to dialing out (in case they're reading this - I need to explain that there's no such phone). This has to be the worst ordering experience I've ever had, hands down. Rowan, the cashier, seemed utterly clueless from the moment I stepped up to the counter. She messed up my order not once, but twice, and acted like I was inconveniencing her when I tried to correct her mistakes. There was no smile, no apology, just a blank stare and a heavy sigh every time I pointed out something was wrong. It felt like she actively didn't want to be there, and honestly, her attitude made me wish I wasn't either. The whole process was incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily drawn out. She seemed completely disengaged, barely making eye contact, and spoke in a monotone that just oozed indifference. Her lack of attention to detail and general customer service skills were appalling. It felt like a complete disregard for her job and the customers. Completely ruined my dinner. I won't be back if she's working, and I'd strongly advise others to avoid her register too. But the issues didn't stop with Rowan. When I tried to get help from another employee, Harly, she was just as bad, if not worse. She gave me a look that practically screamed "are you serious?" when I explained the mix-up, and then proceeded to talk over me. Her tone was incredibly condescending, as if I was being a demanding child. She offered absolutely no solutions, just more exasperated sighs and eye-rolls. The whole process was incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily drawn out, with both of them seemingly competing to see who could be more unhelpful. It felt like a complete disregard for customer service. This left a really sour taste in my mouth. I will never come back to this location unless something is changed. Always ordered the Long Islander sub from here and the pastrami has never came like this. It's always red as it should be, warm and tender. This looks like it was throw into a microwave for a long time as it was tough and did not taste like pastrami. The sub was loaded with overly sweet coleslaw and hardly any pastrami, and the pizza didn't have a single speck of fresh garlic or spinach on it. I really enjoy Manhattan Pizza's Pep rolls. They are our go-to snack when we have to work on the house. Small pop-able, bite-size, bread babies of goodness! Manhattan Pizza can be a hit or miss, but I think overall they're pretty good. Something that I really appreciated with my last order is that the salad was fresh and I didn't see one wilted leaf (which is really good considering some of the places I've ordered salads from). They usually give you more then enough in regards of portion sizes. I haven't had any issues with the staff, a matter of fact, I called in a delivery order 30 minutes before they closed and they were friendly, patient, and got the order over fast. This is my third time ordering from here. I ordered another veggie dish and it was good. I would make some minor changes to the sub though, such as removing the spinach and artichoke, and grilling the green peppers more. It was a tasty veggie sub and it even tasted better without the spinach and artichoke (picked it out). I even added ketchup to it because it already had mayo as a base sauce and it tasted so good. I would reorder this again but without those vegetables and adding ketchup. The bread was soggy a bit because of the spinach and messy with all the standard ingredients. Anyways, their cheesecake is good but expensive to me for a slice and there fries are okay. Oh, The new employee needs to be a little more attentive and speak up a little. I thought he said the total meal price so I gave him my card to charge. He was so memorized by the customer before me and their accent that when it came to my order, he only rang me for the dessert and not adding my entree. We haven't eaten inside yet so I can't speak to that but we received a menu in the mail recently and decided to try delivery instead of the usual pizza chains. We have already ordered twice! The pizza is delicious! They offer S, M and XL; it can get a little pricey but it has been good quality for us. My family liked the garlic knots as well. Last time we ordered something went wrong and instead of getting 1 pepperoni + 1 cheese we ended up with 2 cheese pizzas but the location was awesome when I called and put a free medium pepperoni on our profile for the next time we order! Do NOT come here or call at all if you're paying cash for delivery!! I tried placing my first order with my new phone number at this location and the two females who talked to me (Ones name I got Harley, and the other was some stubborn rude foreign lady) She did not want to share her name but I was put on hold the second I called and took about 2 minutes and I got cut off by the manager and hung up on. The first young girl named Harley who I was talking to after being hung up on, was being extremely rude and said they can't take cash for delivery orders. I have literally placed orders with them before through my daughter and husbands account but this time my daughter wasn't home to place an order for me since she's away for college. She immediately said they can't take cash for delivery when she's completely lying because my neighbors order from them and also pay in cash. I also mentioned I've been having issues with my card lately and I don't like giving out my information over the phone and I even told that to the manager. Whoever that manager is should be fired! I have came in person many times to pick up orders under my daughters and husbands names and I've seen how lazy this place is with their employees. Never in uniforms like other locations and ALWAYS on the phone. I want to take this up to corporate because there's no way they aren't taking cash when we just placed an order from them 3 days ago and paid cash for delivery. That is a lie from people like them because they are just lazy and don't want to take cash transactions and only card. The pizza is good, eveyrthing here is good. What is not good is that it is a teenage hangout. More often than not we go in here with our elementary school age kids and sit there trying to enjoy a meal while 5 or 6 boys sit there horsing around dropping the F-word, and discussing obscene acts they'd like to do to girls they like. So I've recently added MP back into my regular carryout pizza rotation. Their quality is much improved from my original review many years ago so I thought an update was in order... The good: Pizzas are hot, fresh with ample toppings. Most are cooked correctly, with golden brown crust and no hint of being over- or under-done. The subs are decent, Mom really enjoyed her cheesesteak with xtra cheese. Also good are their gyros, stuffed with plenty of protein. Delivery is prompt, often beating their online estimates. The bad: Their house salad. Not because it wasn't fresh - it was. No, its that for a small (six-inch?) plastic container with maybe a cup and a half of lettuce, they charged $8.49. For that price, I was expecting a fair sized salad with many tomatoes, cukes and other add-ins. Instead, I received a dinky little container of mostly lettuce. This was very expensive and very disappointing. I'll be back for pizza/subs/gyros, but I'll be staying away from those teeny, tiny salads. read more
