FOOD: i can tell the smoothies are made from a super concentrated juice because my drinks were waaaaayyy too sweet. I couldn't even drink it. Freshly squeezed fruit smoothies should not have a high concentration of sugar. ENVIRONMENT: I love what they have to offer. They serve more than just drinks. Got here around 7pm on a Saturday. We wanted to get some food but the lady who worked there said that they stopped the fryer so we couldn't get anything. The sign said they close at 8 so we were a bit disappointed. Perhaps they should post that they don't serve food after 7pm so it would notify customers not to go there for food/snacks after 7pm. Like my gf and I usually do after a good meal, we go get a drink at a boba place! After careful consideration, we decided to step out of our usual realm which is lollicup and decided to try this place. Pretty decent location, and not too hard to find. We walk on and are immediately greeted by a nice lady who is working there. Being our first time there, we're a little bit overwhelmed by what were are looking at. After a few minutes of consideration (more like 30...) she decide to try a passion fruit slush and I go for their so popular and so called halo drink. The passion fruit slush tasted similar to other traditional drink but the halo is definitely something new. I got the one with mango ice cream and ube (or taro) ice cream. Surprisingly, the taro tasted pretty good, and not so bland as I expect taro to be. I liked the shake as it had coconut milk, a bunch of jello and red beans, which reminds me of those drinks that you would get at Bambu but with the Filippino spin to it. Unfortunately, I was a little full, so I saved it up for until I got home to eat it, causing the ice cream to melt a bit and the ice to condense and become blocky.... So when I are it, I wasn't sure if it was what it was suppose to taste like... Still I did like it and will post up an update next time I get to try it again! We also got their Turon, which had me wanted more after the first bite. That was dope!!! Nice and crunchy on the outside, sweet and soft on the inside (the banana). Nothing else to add, it was great! At the same visit, we discovered why they are called karaoke express... Lol they sell DVDs and CDs of karaoke along with other singing equipments. Kinda weird combination but hey whatever works, the foods got people coming back for more. Overall I will give this place a good 4 stars as it is a store that sells solid and good tasting food! It's location and service is pretty convenient and easy to find. They also sell snacks that you would not normally find at supermarkets! The one negative thing I would have to say is the ice that they use in the halo drink wasn't the best kind as it clumps so easily and makes it hard to even break with the spoon. We stopped by this place Saturday for a quick BoBa fixed, but I decided to be adventurous and got their HaloHalo. And let me tell you...I fall in LOVE with it. it was amazing and so incredibly delicious. I am not sure I will be able to find another place to top Manila's HaloHalo (I get my HaloHalo with no beans[because I don't like beans] and two scoops of Ube ice cream). It has become a weekend thing for me to get some HaloHalo every time I go to Stockton/visit my dad. The Turon is a must. the crispy sweet/honey glaze fried banana is heaven. So far I have tried their Almond and Honeydew snows, Avocado smoothie, all their tropical flavored ice creams, various milk teas with their Thai tea being my regular drink, and occasionally get some of their dried shelf snacks. Have yet to their finger foods. Enjoyed them all and am down to try more! They're my go-to place for boba or anything refreshing when the heat gets to me whenever I'm back home in Stockton. With a lot of their drinks and desserts, they're not way too sweet like I find with Lollicup, personally, and their smoothies not too icy at the bottom, an issue I often run into at Quickly's. I appreciate that they also sell the tubs of a number of the tropical ice creams. As a Filipino who enjoys my people's flavors, I dig the selection, like how it's right next to Jollibee if I'm hungry for something heavier (or reverse, after some Jollibee, head there for dessert!), and how they sell some karaoke CDs and DVDs from some classic and recent Filipino cinema. Go to this place at YOUR OWN RISK!!!! Went in during this Covid crisis, employees not wearing masks or gloves, handled money then food without washing their hands. One girl was very nice and professional and the other girl was super rude and unprofessional and copped an attitude for no reason. I ordered a meal and the photo and description said that the sauce came with the meal, then I noticed that I was charged extra for items including the sauce. I asked why I was charged extra when the menu clearly says its included, the nasty girl said that her boss tells her to do it. I replied, " your boss tells you to charge extra without informing the customer?" and her was "YES". I told her that was not legal and she said she didn't care and to bring it up with the owner. I do not believe that this place is an ethical business and some of their employees are not following standard protocols or food safety guidelines. i will never go there again. read more

This place is very under rated. They have been my go to for lumpia for the past few years. Very consistent! The owner is very kind and always has my order ready promptly. Hes very trustworthy too because I always call in for an order of lumpia for my daughter and never asks my name or payment, and when I arrive he always says hey your lumpia are here! Ok, good ice cream. There's a limited amount of flavors that are actually good. The mango ice cream in my opinion is the best. It's sweet and not too creamy. It's refreshing in the summer when it's hot. I tried the Thai tea flavored one and it was too much, too strong. read more

I love the Halo-Halo I'm just sad that they no longer put a piece of flan in them. That's what set them apart from all the others, they were the only ones that would include flan. I am a regular customer and they always did a good job on my orders but this one time I asked for a cofee and got a cofee chip shake which is disgusting for me and the adult asian lady didnt want to change it. They messed up 2 different times on my daughter's brink by putting boba in it each time. Finally got it right after the third time. The pork sticks we got were burnt and extremely dry. We ordered cheese sticks and they did not inform us that they had no marinara sauce until after they had given us a cheese sticks we said forget it just give us a ranch and we left. They did have a sign stating that you're supposed to go outside and stand outside but there was no staff coming outside to let you know that your order was ready so we're kind of forced to stand inside to get your order it got an extremely very crowded with a lot of people near you the staff was not wearing face mask was not really taking any social distancing protocols putting you in an extremely tight area near the counter just to get your order with two to three people in that little area. They don't sanitize or white painting down between each customer. Also we spent over 5 minutes trying to figure out what we were going to order regarding a drink because they were out of so many flavors no signs up no nothing and you spend time standing in a line to get up there to be told what they do not have we felt bad because we were creating a line behind us because we couldn't get in the flavors that my daughter wanted as far as a drink went without the boba in it. I've tried the fried chicken, lobster balls, turons, and halo halo. All are really good. Prices are decent, I never went back to Lollicup. I recommend getting a tiger snow or milk tea, passionfruit snow for all you fruity people, and don't be afraid to try new things! Every time I come, I try to get different drinks.
