Every time I come for breakfast/brunch here, the staff makes me feel so welcomed! The menu is pretty simple, but it gets the job done. They have a nice espresso machine and can make a spectrum of drinks from simple espresso to fancy sweetened concoctions. I usually order a bagel with egg and cheese. Then after eating it and starting at the beautiful donuts, I order a chocolate or glazed donut . There's space to sit inside and plenty of parking. read more

This has become one of my favorite places for donuts. Usually buy a dozen and get a mixed variety. Each and everyone of them is delicious. Iv'e also had the Vietnemese coffee which is also delicious and sure to wake you up when you need that extra boost. My 4 year old loves the smoothies they have. Breakfast sandwiches are also delicious. Depending what time you go in the morning there might be a wait but it is worth it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming every time I have gone. I still advise everyone to check how much you're charged but I haven't had an issue since I wrote my last review a while back. In fact this morning I had the opposite issue. They added an extra donut, told me they were giving me one free, and charged me the correct amount. I'm not sure if i just caught the wrong employee on the wrong day or what, but it's been smooth sailing since my initial issue. Pretty good donuts. Generally friendly employees. When I am in a mood, I need to have a donut. When I am not in a mood, donut doesn't even register as a food source in my brain. The past couple of days, I was in the mood. As my hubby was hearing me saying every morning "I feel like a donut!", finally he gave in and we stopped at the most nearby donut shop that we can see, which was the Manley's Donuts. Very simple set up, the counter with donuts display case and couple of really small tables. I am sure people come in and grab donuts and jet out most of the time, but today, the most stereo typical picture of a local donut shop "a guy sitting alone reading paper" was there. Bingo! Good donut shop! We each got a donut - me, old fashion and my hubby got a round fluffy donut with graze. Taste? GREAT! Very simple, fresh donuts. The guy at the counter was friendly, and 75 cents for a donut? Can't be better. They sell several different kinds of sandwich there for $3.50 for each. A picture of "croissant and ham sandwich" looked so yummy and I was tempted to get one but I had a donut to tackle. I'll come back here again to have another donut or try their sandwiches. read more

The apple fritter is perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside. great apple flavor and the right amount of sweet, not the cloying sweet where you can only eat a few bites and then are feeling sick to your stomach. Still awesome hole-in-the-wall, family owned shop. The service here is always so friendly and welcoming, it seriously is a great start to my day. They have pretty good breakfast sandwiches, croissants and bagels and cheap! Their donuts are good as well. Parking is never an issue, as it is located in a plaza but getting into the plaza can be kinda tricky as it is located at a very busy corner of an intersection. OMG! So good! If stan's is a 5 store donut joint, I'd rate manley's at 4.5 in comparison. I've had a variety of their donuts and most of them have been a true delight! The first time, I had the glazed and sugar donuts, both of which were excellent. Chewy and doughy and sweet in all the right ways. Second time, I went back but they were sadly out of the glazed donuts cause I went in the afternoon. So I went with the a cinnamon twist (DELICIOUS!), a cake donut (not my jam but very good), and a custard filled chocolate frosted donut (yum! custard was brilliant). The person behind the counter was super nice, not sure if he was the owner or not. Saw I was a bit disappointed that they were out of the glazed and decided to throw in a free donut. Score! I will return for a glazed donut!! Hopefully a bit earlier in the morning! read more

Was craving a donut or 2 and this place is close to my office. I ended up here on a weekday morning after attempting to get the round deep fried goodness at Santa Clara's infamous Stan's Donuts on Homestead Rd. It was around 10:30am and Stan's was totally sold out of donuts. Really?? Lady said it was about 15-40 minute wait for more donuts. So I ended up at Manley's. Decent donuts, fresh but not as good at Stan's. I bought a glazed and a chocolate raised. Would return here for convenience and the place looked clean and woman was friendly. At least they were not sold out at 11am. read more

I'm a fan! When I moved to Campbell, I tried five or six different donut places. Manley's is my go-to spot. They have a good selection of different donuts and they're all good quality. I really like the chocolate old fashioneds and the apple fritters are also hard to beat. We've gotten sandwiches a few times as well and have been happy with them. Plus, their donuts are still (as of 10/14/2018) $1, which means you can walk in with a dollar bill and walk out licking your fingers. My only disappointment is that they're not open until 530 so I could grab a donut on the way home from work. Oh well. Can't win em all. read more

Perfect experience. I had to order donuts and coffee last week for work and placed an order over the phone. I had never gone to this place before but chose it because it was the closest to my house. The owners were so sweet, everything was ready on time when I went to pick it up in the morning. All donuts tasted great. I was not a donut person (per say), but having a sugar addiction, I'd eat them when ever I'd buy a box for my colleagues or visa-versa, but never went out of my way otherwise. That is until now. This Manley's location makes the best donuts I've ever had. I like the density, texture and flavor of this dough (even on certain donuts I was never even fond of before) & the toppings compliment every delicious bite. The owner use to bring his left overs to my guy's work in the afternoon and I would get the left-over left overs which were still amazing. I kept telling my guy I wanted to have the Merc do a review on this place (it's just that good & wanted this place to stick around) and then I found you. So the next time you feel like bringing in a box or two of donuts to work or hey for yourself, please give this hole in the wall place a try. And when I do get a hankering for donuts (which now I do), its because of Manley's at this location. These donuts are dangerously delicious (moreso in the afternoon!). read more

So disappointed in this place! As you can see by the review below, I loved it here. But.... the exact same thing happened to me that happened to another person who was overcharged. I requested an itemized receipt and before I could even look at it, they said you get a free donut and stuffed another donut in a bag with some donut holes. I am a sucker for anyone who needs money that badly that they have to sneakily overcharge their customers, especially during the holidays, so I did not demand that they refund me. But I do have to post and let you all know. Sorry, Manley's, but I hope this is a lesson to you that being crooked has its repercussions. Great donuts, folks, but check your receipt and know that they will probably overcharge you if you are not looking like the rest of us below who came forward. The sad "strip-mall" décor (or lack of) will suck some of the flavor out of your fried doughy snack. If you are going to eat here, (not recommended) for the sake of the donut, please close your eyes and imagine a cozy coffee shop. Step 2: bring your donut to work or home and heat it up in the microwave for 18 seconds. It's important to eat your donut while it's warm and also to sip an acceptable cup of coffee (which cannot be found at this establishment.) Step 3: You are likely to become addicted to these donuts--so get here early. The afternoon selection sucks, but the donuts are always "same-day". I have visited Manley's several timesover the years because I attend meetings nearby. I do not live in San Jose. I am a donut lover. Their donuts are delicious. Fresh. Because they are so good you have to go early. I usually am in the area for an afternoon meeting so a lot of their pastries are sold. I was there last week and they had a ham and cheese croissant left.. I lived in France. This croissant was one of the best I have had in the US. Buttery and the ham and cheese when heated up melt in your mouth. Delish! Their coffee is also very good-with flavors such as Vanilla. It goes great with the donuts. And reasonable prices for quality baking. read more

This place is my morning stop 3-4 times a week. Aside from what I thought were just good donuts. They have amazing sandwiches at an incredible price point. When I say i thought they were just good donuts, man was I so wrong. I just went there becuase It was close to my house, but then when I started venturing off and working out of town and not getting my familiarly excitement to my tastebuds I raised up Manley donuts on Bascom And Union to the highest level. I had high hopes for the donuts at this Manley's location, but unfortunately, we just had an average experience. However, the lady who helped us (I think one of the owners) was super sweet, and I can see how this would be a great place to stop by for breakfast if you live in the neighborhood. The lady actually went out of her way to make them for us since they had run out, but since they weren't super busy at the time so she was able to make extra. We also ordered an Original Glazed and a Glazed Crueller, which weren't as good as the filled donut holes. The glazed was just average, and needed a little more chew to it. The crueller was really eggy tasting, and just wasn't good. Overall, I might come back if I were in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for this Manley's location. read more

3.75 stars overall (Croissant Sandwich = 5 stars) (Donuts = 3.5 stars) (Service = 5 stars) *Because this is a donut shop, I weighed their rating more on their donuts.* This family run donut shop grew on me. The owners and workers are SUPER nice. The donuts are just ok. Not bad at all, but not "mmm soooo good" that I would crave them. Although, I have not tried them all so maybe there's one they make that might be super yummy. However, I'm not planning to make that my mission. I was definitely surprised how yummy their breakfast bacon, egg & cheese CROISSANT SANDWICH was! That I definitely crave and keep coming back for. It's not greasy, the egg is real, bacon is crispy and the croissant is not greasy. They make it pretty quick too so it's great if you just need to grab and go in the morning. This is by far my favorite bacon, egg & cheese CS. I also add avocado. Btw, their BACON MAPLE BAR is a yummy treat too! Again, bacon is crispy and donut is not greasy. And I like how they put the bacon on the inside :) I had to share this treat with my colleagues since I would feel too guilty eating the whole thing by myself ;) read more

I came in this morning to try one of their breakfast sandwiches and I loved it! It was the bacon, ham and egg croissant. I picked up some donuts and donut holes too. The donut holes were fantastic. The donuts I haven't tried yet, but they look delicious. I knocked one star off because they didn't have signs on their trays of donuts. I didn't know what each donut cost and there was some confusion at the register when I was getting rung up. She has to double check on a calculator. Wish they had more variety on their filled donuts and sprinkled donuts. read more
