Sandwich is always good but if you want a bagel please go else where. I guess I should have checked it first?

By far, my #1 favorite donut shop in San Jose. Yes I said it! Their assortment of donuts is truly the best, and even when they run out of my favorites (maple bars!!!), they have so many other delicious options to choose from. I want to add though that their donuts and croissants AND breakfast sandwiches are all delicious. Their donuts are always fresh / never stale, even as it gets later in the early afternoon, and their food selection is simply delicious. Oh! And I do appreciate their coffee and drink selection too! Lots to choose from, no matter what your mood is. Their service is amazing and the staff who work there are so kind and patient. They are always so friendly! It is clean inside, the ambiance is just like a good ol, warm-hearted donut shop should be - not too big, just right, and option to take a quick seat if needed. Really love this shop and all yummy things donuts from them!

Restaurant was so dirty. They don't clean the tables and under every visible cabinet where floor was visible you can see lots of food which was just gross and unhealthy. Customer service was rude too when I brought it up.

I like the cronut here. Recently, I tried their Jasmine Rose milk tea & to my surprise it was good. The service was good. I would recommend this place.

My favorite donuts in San Jose! These magical donuts are powering the Evan Low for Congress campaign.

Normally come here on the weekends with co-workers. We like ordering the breakfast sandwiches. We typically call in and order ahead. However, sometimes this place is packed and busy. We order about 6 sandos to go. However, two of the sandwiches were missing ingredients and there was just no way I was driving back. it was very disappointing to not receive the order how you imagine. that's the only reason why i gave it a low rating. But the food is good.

The breakfast sandwiches here are fantastic--always served super hot and fresh. The croissant sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich was amazing, with perfectly drippy, delicious cheese. The donuts hit the perfect balance of sweet without being too sugary. Plus, the staff is really friendly. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

The customers are good people. Enjoyed chatting with an army vet and some other students while waiting in line here. The food: Breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage on an everything bagel was okay, but lackluster. There wasn't much egg and the cheese wasn't melted unlike other similar shops. Donuts, tried the custard filled chocolate donut which was good! However, the donut holes were just okay with custard filling, but way too sweet with the raspberry filling. Hope to come back but overall wasn't my favorite.

I had a busy Sunday morning and decided to order delivery. I wanted to try a new spot in the area for a breaky sando. The reviews seemed promising so I ordered a sandwich, Vietnamese iced coffee and a donut. A little of everything to get the full experience. What went well: My order was correct, nothing was missing. The donut was delicious and fresh, they even threw in two donut holes - score! My breakfast sandwich tasted good and fresh. What didn't go well: My breakfast sandwich had very little egg, they definitely need to serve this with two eggs and not one. Vietnamese iced coffee could be a bit stronger - personal preference. Their food was good but the egg sandwich was lacking egg! I will come back for donuts but not a breakfast sando.

This business is a staple part of the community!!Everything on the menu is delicious my favorite is probably the egg and cheese on croissants but the bagels and donuts are great too! The service is consistently great, the whole staff is very friendly. You can tell they truly care about the customer and quality of food and service! My five year old niece loves coming here every Wednesday.

I've seen this shop multiple times, and the past Sunday, I decided to stop by! Immediately- you can smell the freshly baked donuts and you're greeted warmly by the sweet staff here. The menu is endless with drink and non-donut options - but the donuts take center stage! The choices of donuts were window to window - I love sprinkled donuts the most, but I just HAD to try their glazed donut holes because they looked so yummy. What I loved about this location is that even in near afternoon they were well stocked with flavors and bringing out more donuts too! Sunday morning donut runs can be exciting but also difficult, especially if you have a favorite donut that's also very popular. Thankfully, I managed to get my vanilla sprinkled donut and my boyfriend got his chocolate donut - what a success! Everyone here is so friendly, and when we paid for our donuts - I noticed a line began forming behind us. Aside from coffee, this location also has milk, orange juice, sodas in a nearby fridge and blended drinks. Overall Ease of location - 8/10 Flavor - 10/10 Presentation- 10/10 Friendliness- 10/10 Price- 10/10 It was a little warm inside - but it's to be expected in a bakery! I definitely plan on returning to this location - supporting local mom & pops is especially important! Thanks for the best donuts I've ever had, and being so friendly - you have a customer for life!

I love this place! This is definitely a hole in the wall donut shop! I was actually passing by and I haven't had a donut in quite some time in the morning for breakfast. Ended up coming here and I couldn't find the place at first then I realized it's on its own little section aside from the shopping area its next to. Totally separate parking lot. So I check it out and saw some croissant sandwich pictures on the outside and thought that actually sounded really good so I got that instead. They have a pretty good selection in donuts and I ended up getting a old fashioned donut which tasted delicious! Got the maple and that tasted awesome because it wasn't so sweet and it wasn't over glazed like most places that I've been to. They got donut holes as usual and those are my favorite. Delicious!!! That's it! Then I got a croissant sandwich which was pretty good and the price was inexpensive. It's pretty basic but it's still pretty good! Also, did I mention the people that work here are very nice! Was able to talk to them for awhile about how the pandemic has effected them in any way! Good people! Love this place!

I'd read in the Yelp reviews that a line forms out the door in the morning, but I thought that was only on the weekends. Nope. I got there on a Thursday morning right as they opened at 6am and there was already a line. It took about 15 min. to get to the counter to place my order. Stan's makes the donuts right there in the front of the shop, so they are completely fresh. I ordered one chocolate French cruller and one chocolate crème-filled glaze. The cruller was wonderful. Airy and soft with delicious chocolate on top. Should have ordered two of those. The chocolate crème-filled was not as good. It was too crispy on the outside and had too much warm crème inside. I might have liked it better if I hadn't first eaten the perfect cruller. Stan's only takes cash, but they have an ATM machine in the shop. There is a large shared parking lot. Phone orders must be placed 24 hours in advance. I'll be back for more crullers and to try an apple fritter, which are only served on Mondays.

When you walk in, youre greeted with a huge display case of their beautiful donuts! I came in for the first time the other day and I was greeted with a warm welcome upon walking inside. Amber was so sweet, she helped me box up my order and went over the flavors of the donuts i chose before closing the box in front of me. I got the black sesame, churro, matcha hazelnut, chocolate hazelnut, melona and the blueberry cream filled. Let me tell you these donuts are perfect if you dont like anything too sweet. My mom who usually splits one donut over the span of 3-4 days to finish, ate her entire blueberry donut in one sitting without even sharing. They do recommend that you enjoy them asap or to place them in an airtight container so they don't dry out. I did not do so, so my donut dried out (eating a dry but delicious day old donut as i write this). All in all my experience was amazing and I will definitely be coming back to try that guava donut if its there!!! I also recommend checking out and exploring their website. I was delighted from the first bite. The prefilled donut holes are different from the regular ones. They are glazed and more similar to a cream puff which makes them super tasty. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
