This is a picture of an old-fashioned doughnut that has a humongous hole

These are the ponies donuts I have ever seen. Let me post my picture of the old-fashioned. The hole is bigger than the donut itself lol 450 I guess she thought I needed to be on a diet today.

Just happened to be in the neighborhood and we were craving doughnuts : D Got a glazed, choco bar, and my all time fave in general- apple fritter. I'm always on the search for the best apple fritter- their Apple fritter was nice, light crisp outer texture, doughy soft interior with bits of apples. For me 4/5. Hubby enjoyed his choco and glazed. Hit the spot lol Super friendly service ! Couple of tables indoors for seating. Steady flow of customers. Parking out front , located on a busy street.

This Manley's is not like the rest! I love this shop and I've been coming here for a long time now. The women who work here are always extremely nice, and brighten your day when you see them. The shop is always inviting and clean, and the donuts are always on point! I love their breakfast sandwiches the most. Definitely a must try if you happen to stop by. 5 stars!

Cake My Day Quickie update that's worth an extra star: donut cake! If you're looking for something different for your next birthday party or special event, Manley's* has a ±10" donut cake that is avaliable and is actually quite good! Surprisingly not greasy and actually had a nice floofy texture. It's available in strawberry, vanilla or chocolate frosting and must be ordered 24hrs in advance. They're also fairly inexpensive at $10/ea--make sure to get at least two because they'll go fast. *This location does, at least. Not 100% about the other Manley's locations.

Fluffy and so satisfying. Chocolate glaze is the best.

The chocolate glaze donut is my favorite so far. They have a nice selection of classic donut flavors and beverages to complement. Top it off with the nicest latest behind the register; what more do you need? Oh, I know... for me, it's the variety of flavored creamer they have on hand for coffee. I never buy them from the store because I can't ever finish them. So yes, I was delighted to indulge in some Coffee Mate peppermint mocha creamer; hell yes! Parking is a bit sparse...if the lot of full you'll need to go around the block.

However, the taste was a little disappointing. I do like a fluffly, textured donut, however, these are served cold and very sweet. We got half a dozen of nearly all the flavors and they did not disappoint. Ube, black sesame, cookies n cream, matcha, glazed, and dark chocolate (tasted more like milk chocolate though). Soft, chewy, warm, and the glaze was the perfect amount of sweetness for the Asian palate, which is to say: NOT TOO SWEET; the highest compliment, of course. They also have poke here, which I may try next time. And while you're waiting for the glaze dipper to do their magic, there is a fun 10-second buzzer game to try your luck for a freebie mochi!!! There was a good amount of premade custard filled donut holes on display. Despite them being prefilled and on display, the donut holes were still crispy and not soggy! I was delighted from the first bite. The prefilled donut holes are different from the regular ones. They are glazed and more similar to a cream puff which makes them super tasty. I love the irregular shapes of each of them and how big they were. The cream puff texture is what makes this custard filled donut holes not feel heavy when you eat them. Very yummy and addicting. The service was okay. I was greeted by both ladies at the counter and the worker who had assisted me seemed very attentive. I got a dozen cream filled donut holes which were 8.99. I would say thats pretty expensive but for about .75 cents per donut hole, i'd say it's worth it. The ambiance was okay but for a donut shop I wouldn't really say that matters. They're best known for their famous Burnt Almond Cake, though they also offer a variety of other pastries. Personally, I come here just for the cake. I spoke directly with the owner, Cassey, explained the situation, and asked why no one contacted me before giving away something I had already paid for. At some point, she basically just stopped responding to me on the phone. All of this over a $30 order that probably could've been resolved with the tiniest bit of customer service. Instead, I'm now annoyed enough to be writing a catty Yelp review and hoping for Peter Bakery's demise lol -- Edit: just to reiterate here, cause I hate being called a liar. I came the following day and I was told the cake was already donated. My call today was to escalate the item I paid for but was given away. Lastly, no information about donations in the email, nor was a reminder email sent. Rather than checking their systems to verify, they continue to double down. $30 bucks lost on my end, but I hope my review sheds light on their shady customer service. Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, there's plenty to choose from: melon pan, loaf bread, dinner rolls, chow mein bread, spaghetti bread, sweet potato bread, crab and roe bread, tomato bread, apple pie, and so much more. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a small Japanese-style bakery and café that feels like the kind of…read moreneighborhood spot you randomly discover and keep coming back to. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
