Cream cheese don't know how many oz $3.00 for extra one..

Today 04/18/25... I guess I must the missed memo or something.. Did y'all know that if you order a bagel wanted to get it toasted you MUST have cream cheese on it.. but you say it on the side.. it's $3.00 extra.. crazy and they don't take requests either..it's either their way or the highway.. but I say " that's a highway robbery" and when your sick y'all know you can't have dairy.. and if you don't toast bagel it don't taste good.. your just eating bread that all.. and I learned new things every time I go in there.. I try not to.. but when you have a little munchies you got to do it for them.. till next up I guess..

Yum! I was craving a sweet treat, so we got some donuts from Maple Leaf Donuts. This is a convenient location between Saratoga and Los Gatos. Even though it was around noon, there were still plenty of fresh donuts. I got a classic glazed and a sprinkle donut. The glazed was soft and fluffy. Totally delicious! The cake donut was also soft and fluffy in a more cake-like way. Frosting and sprinkles on top were tasty. Both donuts weren't oily at all and left your mouth tingling with a happy sweetness. I would definitely come back here again! The donuts are about $1.50 each, so it's a lovely, affordable pick me up.

I'm so happy this place is nearby to me! I highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches. great for lunch, service is quick and so friendly, and the glazed donuts are really good too. Definitely try it if you're in the area!

    thai tea. mostly ice :(

average donut shop. i asked for thai tea and the lady at the counter convinced me on the crystal pearls. there are hardly any pearls, it's mostly ice. def not worth $8.

    #5 Croissant breakfast sandwich

I got the #5 breakfast sandwich, Really like this mom and pop store and the kids also like their donuts and bagel and croissant sandwiches as well, Location is right across from the DMV

Pretty much anything you choose to fill the sandwich will taste great in that bread, but they serve top quality meats and cheeses as well. I can't recommend this highly enough. Service is efficient- sometimes the person taking the order can seem a bit gruff, but it is more a busy gruff instead of a rude gruff, and I've found they can be cracked up even in the midst of a rush. There aren't a ton of tables, but there is usually space and the place is very clean. Give this one a try!!

This location is parked in a large plaza with plenty of parking. You can order online pretty easily with a straightforward ordering system. Our 2 sandwiches took about 10 minutes. Spicy turkey - For a $15 price tag, I expected more than two thin slices of turkey. The amount of meat provided threw the whole meat to bread ratio off. The spicy turkey was good but it just needed more of it because as it, all I tasted was bread. The mustard and house sauce also wasn't enough in quantity so the whole sandwich tasted very one dimensional and bland. This location was a huge letdown. I think I'll stick to the San Jose location.

They are much hyped for monstrous, incredibly layered over-the-top sandwiches with proprietary, house-made marinades, jerky varieties, and custom-smoked meats. Which may explain the lines, long waits, and lack of tables, not in a complainy way. Surprised at myself for not going earlier (the constant Instragram reels adding up), I had to go before I ended my tenth year in San Jose. I got the gutbusting Quad (pastrami, pulled pork, tri-tip, bacon, on a fresh Dutch Crunch). It was too big to eat as a sandwich- it was something you had to manage and attack. Truth is, I couldn't detect the pastrami because it was slathered in tender, lean, bbq meat, nor could I detect the bacon until the sandwich "thinned out" to normal human consumption size, meaning that I ate the meat out through the edges or the contents fell out. It's call quad because you need four napkins per bite.

On my most recent visit we called ahead and ordered two sandwiches for pickup. We were told it would be 15 minutes, so glad we called! We got a Crazy Turkey and super hero for two of us to share. The sandwiches were massive, and one probably would've been enough for us to share had we eaten a normal sized breakfast. The super hero was the clear standout for both of us. It was super flavorful and suacy and meaty, it was perfect. The Crazy Turkey was good, but when compared to the super hero it just wasn't that flavorful. We asked for the jalapenos from the Crazy Turkey on the side and unfortunately they were missing. We also saw online that sandwiches came with pickles and there weren't any in the bag, not sure if they weren't included or if the website just wasn't updated. Definitely will be back here for the super hero and to try some of the other sandwiches too.

I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.

The lavender flavor actually came through instead of getting lost in the coffee, creating a fragrant, well-balanced drink that was both comforting and delightful.

So I want to set the record straight because Los Gatos Cafe was a really good experience. It's a small place but there are outside tables as well. You can order lunch at any time as well as breakfast. We started with Banana Chocolate Chip pancakes. Holy smokes they were the bomb. They had a ton of fresh bananas inside as well as a nice amount of chocolate chips on top. I had the Hot Turkey and Pear sandwich. I know the combo sounds weird but it was super tasty. The pear added crunch and sweetness to the sandwich. There was also a good dose of grilled onions to go with the owie gooey cheese....yum. Hubby had the Granite Flank Steak Sandwich . It was smothered in Gorgonzola cheese with a good portion of Flank Steak. The steak was tender and well seasoned. It was the perfect flavor bite. So going to add this place to the frequent flier list. Be kind to one another

Recently we came back…read moretwice, once on Sunday as I forgot that the paella was a Friday thing, so the staff told me that they usually have paella and clam chowder freshly cooked on Friday. They happened to have a small tub of Friday clam chowder left for sale, for a whopping $16! That price dropped my rating to a 4 star. Service is still 5, but man, the value proposition isn't as high as before. The clam chowder tasted good, creamy and all, but $16 for that is really hard to swallow. The store itself is clean and sells a variety of meat products and imported goods such as from Italy. We came again on Friday evening, at 5pm exact and saw the paella pan laid outside with some amount of paella piled up. The pan felt cold and we were confused if they haven't started cooking or those were the left over. So we went inside to ask and they said the paella was available starting at 5pm, so what's on the pan was cooked. We bought 1 portion, which feeds 2-3 and it came in two 16 oz tubs. For $35, it fed my husband and myself just right. The smoky flavor was on the rice with meat and lots of clams and mussels (but not those fatty mussels that you saw in the Belgium style dish). $35 for dinner of two is not as bad value as the $16 bowl of chowder. So overall, 3.5-4 stars for food and value, 5 stars for service and friendliness.
