The service and ambiance was good, however im here to save everyone from trouble. I've heard this location has a reputation of people getting sick from their food and how they store it as well. Myself and a couple other friends came to dine in on Friday and we ate a lot of pork belly and bulgogi. But later that night we all started feeling sick, didn't think much of it. Now fast forward couple days later, we are still sick. We know that we got food poisoning and have the majority of symptoms. I'm a food service person myself, so I don't know how they are properly temping their food, storing it, and what the expiration date is. They say it's "fresh" but not when my friends and I are sick. We had dinner here after the football game on Saturday night and the wait wasn't too bad. It was pretty busy but we only waited about 30 mins. The hostess was friendly and took us to our table. Quickly after, our server came over and brought us water. He had a whole section he was working so he was pretty busy at the beginning. We sat unattended a bunch of times and we had to ask for utensils / napkins from a different server because ours was MIA. Our waters sat empty and it seemed like he would forget that we were even there. Our grill burned right away because he set it too "high" and we had to wave at him to come and change it for us. I definitely enjoy the service we receive from the servers at the Mesa location as here it was as if we were such a big inconvenience. The Mesa location has steamed egg and here they don't, boo. Frequented this establishment several times in the past and received exceptional service and good food but today, the experience was sub-par. Sometimes, old habits and bias rear their ugly heads; this was the case today. Once seated in the restaurant by the hostess, the waitress came by and greeted my wife without acknowledging me or my presence. She asked for our initial drink order, then left the table. Upon her return, looking at my wife, she asked for our order, my wife deferred to me and as I began to place an order for a couple of items, she interupted me and turned to my wife to say "I recommend this and that". My wife said, "ok" but I'd rather have what my husband ordered. The waitress then said "It's too many items; too much". She proceeded to lite the cooker in the middle of the table and then left. I looked over to my wife and said "that was rude, let's go". We left the establishment. Regardless of how much I like an establishment, when the attitude of the staff rises to a level of disdain and disrespect, I will not tolerate the behavior nor spend my money where I cannot enjoy the meal. read more

We came for a dinner, right before the dinner rush, and seated immediately. They have a 2 hour seating limit.. Which was understandable, because they already got a wait line while we were leaving. It's a nice restaurant, servers were nice, friendly, and very attractive. Our waitress kept checking on us, but not rushing or anything. Food came quick after ordered. Our grilled changed frequently. They have only one price/menu for the AYCE with lots of meat to choose from. They offer beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and vegetables. Price is very affordable for what you get from the menu. However, everything was not yummy. First of all, even though we like spicy, the sauce they put and marinated the meat burned so quickly. It made the spicy beef belly, spicy pork belly, and spicy bulgogi not enjoyable. We started getting regular. Not spicy items, and dip it to the spicy sauce on the side. The pork belly was alright. It was a 2 very thick and long bacon. Bulgogi was also alright. It was juicy, yes, but didn't have a sauce taste. I tried their San Diego, on Convoy st., location a long time ago. Finally took time to check this place out for lunch while we were in area. It was still fairly busy on a Friday at noon. Interesting concept: you barbecue your own meat at your table. We were a bit intimidated at first, but our server, Edaile, was very helpful to us as first timers. She explained the process of cooking our entrees, and was friendly and attentive. We started with the appetizers that were on our table (including Kimchi, marinated cucumber, potato salad, and daikon) and then made our selections. We ordered the tempura vegetables, which were not served hot, unfortunately. We also ordered the fried rice and gyoza. Both were good. For our entrees, we ordered Beef Bulgogi, Hawaiian Chicken, Garlic Pork Belly, and Garlic Shrimp. The Bulgogi was the favorite of our selections: tender and flavorful. I don't think I'd order the Garlic Shrimp again. It was unpeeled and not deveined, which made it difficult to eat with chopsticks, and the vein inside gave the shrimp an unpleasant taste. The atmosphere is inviting and the K-Pop videos all over the venues were interesting. We plan to try the Peoria location next time we entertain out of town guests since it's closer to our where we live. read more

Cuts of meat are on the fat side, sometimes hard fat and cartridge where I can hardly swallow or chew the meat, and they do have a "finish the meat or pay" policy which is concerning. But overall better sides than meat, but at a Korean bbq it should be perfect the meat before the sides. read more

I really enjoyed the KBBQ experience at this Manna location as the food came out quickly. The meats were good, however the Manna Steak had a lot of fat. The beef tongue wasn't chewy and was good. My favorite was the beef brisket (#11 chadol). For sides, I enjoyed the Jap Chae (glass noodles) and fried chicken. The salad leaves were huge so I had to cut it to be bite size. They don't have rice paper here, sadly, but they do have pickled radish you can use like rice paper. The restaurant appeared clean considering how busy it was. Our server did a great job accommodating to our huge party. They truly abide to the 2 hour rule since they had another reservation after us so we couldn't sit much longer to socialize with friends. read more

I went to Manna BBQ (Westgate, Glendale) on September 12, 2025 to celebrate my sister's 17th birthday, because it's her favorite place. What was supposed to be a special night turned into a huge disappointment due to terrible service. We waited 20 minutes for a table (which I understand because it gets busy), but once we were seated the service was unacceptable: the waiter threw the chopsticks on the table and even threw an empty plate as if we were bothering him. When we ordered chadol baegi and chadol with teriyaki, the same waiter kept insisting that "it's the same." I told him I wanted one without sauce, and begrudgingly he wrote it down; after that, he ignored us almost the entire time. He only came by once to ask if we needed anything and never returned; the tables next to us were being attended to, while he just collected plates from us. He didn't offer us forks or spoons, I had to get up-walk and ask another server. Our meat started to burn because no one explained to me how to lower the BBQ flame. I normally don't handle the grill, and even though my sister has been here several times (that's why it's her favorite place), she was celebrating and it wasn't fair that I had to manage it by myself with no help from the waiter. He just walked by, looked at the burnt meat, and kept walking. The rice was poorly cooked, almost like dough, with white uncooked parts. When I wanted more meat, I had to get up to ask for it because he simply didn't want to serve us. And when I finally pointed to the meat on the menu, he refused to look at it, made me pronounce the name as best I could, and even made unnecessary jokes. For a soda, I had to ask another server again because he wouldn't bring it. We paid $72 for two people and received rude, careless service with zero attention. It's also uncomfortable that staff adjust their pants while walking around; they should require a belt as part of the uniform. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years, and I would never treat a new customer and especially a regular one (like my sister) this way. We chose to wait for a table and pay for her meal; they weren't doing us a favor, we were paying for the food and the service. Being a newcomer to this place, we were truly amazed. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, the adventure began. Our server, Edaile (pronounced as Adele - like the singer), was absolutely wonderful. She guided us through the entire process of how things worked. Since it's an all-you-can-eat place, you can order up to three meat items from the menu at a time. This helps in reducing food wastage, no matter how hungry you may be feeling. Sometimes our eyes are hungrier than our stomachs. Haha. Each meat dish we ordered, all shown in the menu, was outstanding. The great thing about grilling it yourself at the table is that you can choose how you want your meat cooked. Whether you prefer it rare or well-done, every bite is sure to be a delight. Remember, if you have a group of more than four people, it's best to call ahead and reserve a section or table. They seem to be able to accommodate groups ranging from two to 20. The seating options range from tables for two to four people, as well as high bar tables that can seat around 10 or more. We were taken care of by Edaile and she did an incredible job. We have either gotten lucky twice or Manna prides themselves on good service. We came during the heat of a weekend lunch rush and were quoted a 45 minute wait time - after about 30 minutes we were seated in a booth ready to conquer a feast. Edaile came by with clutch timing to change our grill and throw in another portion of proteins every time we were finish our second plate. I recommend ordering 2 proteins at a time - the servers do their rounds to maintain full belly's and a fresh grill... they haven't kept us waiting yet. Ask for EDAILE - she was an amazing server and accommodated anything we requested! We tried various new proteins and all of them were delicious. My girlfriend wasn't a huge fan of the Pork Jowl, but that wasn't because it wasn't good - she just is a fan of Pork Cheek. I wanted her to try new things as she is a frequent bulgogi eater! The dumplings, fried chicken, and chicken wings are exactly what you'd expect them to be - I actually enjoy the breading used for the chicken. I don't ever eat salads, but the dressing used for their green salad is tasty and a light refreshing change of flavors from the heavier proteins being consumed all meal. Lastly, don't forget about those bean sprouts - they are super tasty with the every red meat we ordered. Cass was a light crisp beer that went decent with the bomber, but I would recommend going with a Sapporo. Me and my bf have been coming here religiously for almost 3 years, I never do anything like this but tonight I'm sick and that's NEVER happened. The staff used to be so welcoming and fun! But now they don't even accommodate to orders, just straight to the point "what are you ordering tonight"had to ask for sides 3 times even though we watched our server stand there just messing around (never seen that before either) it's just two of us we kept saying half orders, we were given full portions every time, even went over it with the server TWICE so we had to eat extra meat and not enjoy any others, the meat and seafood quality has gone down as well. A real bummer, on the bright side the woman who always works the front, ms young (haven't seen her in awhile) and the young lady who does her own nails so cute are ALWAYS great and the soon dubu. read more

Just beware, this venue shares its lot with the football stadium and will charge when there are events. - Our server LINDSEY was awesome!!! She made sure we were never short on meat, sides, or drinks. - The meat quality is not bad considering it's AYCE. The brisket was pretty good, the galbi was decent, and garlic pork belly was also good. - The soft drinks are refillable on tap. - Make sure you ask for the chili sauce for dipping. - The price is damn good for what you get. - There are televisions located throughout the restaurant. They only offer 3 banchan- kim chee (mid), bean sprouts (terrible, actually tasted moldy), and fish cake (strong fishy taste). Gyoza was ok. Chicken wings were tasteless. Tempura vegetables were cold and dripping oil. The corn and cheese was nothing to write home about. The first grill they gave us was so warped that the steak immediately slid to the side and huge flames started coming up. They changed it out, but it flamed so quickly that our food and the grill got burnt. They changed the grill again, with the same result. Needless to say, all of our meats got too charred. They only give you salt and one yuzu/soy sauce. No amount of sauce could have saved that though. Hubby and I eat a lot of Korean BBQ (we favor Gyu Kaku and Gen but have eaten at lots of other restaurants of this type). This place made us feel sad. The staff is nice, and the location is convenient. If you can get over the strong cleaner smell inside of the restaurant, it's not much different from other well established restaurants of this type. My husband and I normally go to the location in Peoria, but we loved our experience here. Our server, Austin, was extremely attentive during our meal. We've normally had to ask for a grill change, but he noticed and changed it before we had to mention it. He checked on us frequently throughout our visit.
