Me and my bf have been coming here religiously for almost 3 years, I never do anything like this but tonight I'm sick and that's NEVER happened. The staff used to be so welcoming and fun! But now they don't even accommodate to orders, just straight to the point "what are you ordering tonight"had to ask for sides 3 times even though we watched our server stand there just messing around (never seen that before either) it's just two of us we kept saying half orders, we were given full portions every time, even went over it with the server TWICE so we had to eat extra meat and not enjoy any others, the meat and seafood quality has gone down as well. A real bummer, on the bright side the woman who always works the front, ms young (haven't seen her in awhile) and the young lady who does her own nails so cute are ALWAYS great and the soon dubu. read more

They only offer 3 banchan- kim chee (mid), bean sprouts (terrible, actually tasted moldy), and fish cake (strong fishy taste). Gyoza was ok. Chicken wings were tasteless. Tempura vegetables were cold and dripping oil. The corn and cheese was nothing to write home about. The first grill they gave us was so warped that the steak immediately slid to the side and huge flames started coming up. They changed it out, but it flamed so quickly that our food and the grill got burnt. They changed the grill again, with the same result. Needless to say, all of our meats got too charred. They only give you salt and one yuzu/soy sauce. No amount of sauce could have saved that though. Hubby and I eat a lot of Korean BBQ (we favor Gyu Kaku and Gen but have eaten at lots of other restaurants of this type). This place made us feel sad. The staff is nice, and the location is convenient. If you can get over the strong cleaner smell inside of the restaurant, it's not much different from other well established restaurants of this type. First time having KBBQ in the valley after loving it for years in the San Francisco Bay Area. This place was very good large scale operation, staff were very friendly and attentive. Mostly one price ($27.99 pp) for all you can eat, a few items have a reasonable surcharge. Spicy chicken and bulgogi beef were very good as was the japchae and friend rice. My husband and I normally go to the location in Peoria, but we loved our experience here. Our server, Austin, was extremely attentive during our meal. We've normally had to ask for a grill change, but he noticed and changed it before we had to mention it. He checked on us frequently throughout our visit. We never had to wait too long for a new plate of meat or sides. And it's a huge plus that nothing was forgotten. Thank you, Austin! Frequented this establishment several times in the past and received exceptional service and good food but today, the experience was sub-par. Sometimes, old habits and bias rear their ugly heads; this was the case today. Once seated in the restaurant by the hostess, the waitress came by and greeted my wife without acknowledging me or my presence. She asked for our initial drink order, then left the table. Upon her return, looking at my wife, she asked for our order, my wife deferred to me and as I began to place an order for a couple of items, she interupted me and turned to my wife to say "I recommend this and that". My wife said, "ok" but I'd rather have what my husband ordered. The waitress then said "It's too many items; too much". She proceeded to lite the cooker in the middle of the table and then left. I looked over to my wife and said "that was rude, let's go". We left the establishment. If you're looking for KBBQ in the West Valley AVOID this one at all costs!!! With how busy the Glendale area is, especially West Gate, you'd think this business would know how to inform their guests about operation times and updates. Needless to say every single time my partner or I have come here we have been thoroughly disappointed and misinformed. Two times coming in 2 hours before close and saying that they are at full capacity and won't be accepting any while having groups of 4+ people waiting is never really a good look (with open tables in the background). Furthermore, the one time my partner and I were able to get seated we were hard pressed to find our server, get the full amount of side dishes that usually comes with our food, get updates on any specialty dishes still being cooked in the back and get basic services done such as a simple refill on water. 3.5/5 -- A fun bbq experience. Food was decently good for all-you-can-eat and service was great! My Feedback is that the pork belly was not the best. I have tried and grilled many pork belly kbbq and this was the most dry and least fattiest one I've tried grilling. Additionally, the side dishes were a little underwhelming for four people. Overall, the marination of the meats were delicious and again, service was great. It did take some time to wait when we were ready for our next round of orders but otherwise, the staff was nice. If I could give it a negative star I would. The food was old and all the uncooked meats brought to us were brown. The octopus smelled like rotten fish. All the fried appetizers were not crunchy. When I brought my party of 4 into the bustling busy buffet the popular music videos steadied the energy of the restaurant. It wasn't a long wait to be seated. When seated we're hastily welcomed by our server Vik or Vic (sorry) and her positive spirit. Even thought Vic was very busy she always brought our table exactly what we needed. We went here to celebrate my sister's birthday on vacation. The restaurant itself is located in a really cute spot in town near the Cardinal stadium and surrounded by plenty of bars, shopping, and gaming. There was a bit of a wait to get seated, but the restaurant organizes their waitlist via text so you're free to walk around and explore a bit of the mall while you're waiting. The convenience is great! When we got the text saying that our table was ready, we immediately returned to the restaurant and were seated. Our waitress was very pleasant and kind. She explained a bit of the process of Korean BBQ to my parents who had not done it before. For nearly 28$ a person, the all you can eat Korean BBQ is fantastic!
