My mother loves doughnuts and I visited Manna Donuts on a whim to purchase some for her birthday. There was only one customer ahead of me and I was helped promptly by a friendly gentlemen who made my apparent first time a little less awkward by suggesting popular items and waiting patiently as I struggled with my choices. He was so kind as I finished up my order, even giving me a free glazed doughnut with my dozen. Everyone agreed the quality of these doughnuts was higher than most we had tried before. Especially notable were the lemon curd, apple fritter, buttermilk crumble, and chocolate bar (my mom's favorite!). One Friday I took my two kids there to get donuts before school. I was being helped by an older man when an irritated older woman (I presume was the wife) pushed him out of the away and took over my service. My five year old was taking her time and changing her mind about what she wanted. That impatient woman called me an idiot in a low tone of voice. I couldn't believe it, so I requested that she repeats what she said. instead of defusing the situation she was looking at me with disgust. After few times of me asking her what she said and more disgust looks from her she told me and my kids to get the F--k out of the store because she doesn't want to serve me. We do not have too many donut shops in yucaipa. But of all the ones we have this is by far the best place. My work has meetings on monday mornings and they usually bring donuts for all the employees. Idk where they would get their donuts but they were always dry or overly greesy. I have been no bringing manna donuts to work and everyone LOVES them. So much that some of my coworkers have told me that's where they go now when they want to pick some up for their families. The donuts are always so soft and fluffy! The best donuts ever! And I'm not young! I'm so glad I live in this town if only for the donuts here. And no, I'm not related to the owner! Have never had a bad donut here. The plain, simple glazed are my favorite. Bite into one and it almost melts in your mouth. Can't finish it slow enough-wait, does that make sense? The cake donuts are just as good-sweet, soft, perfection! Apple fritters are great too but so filling I can't eat any more of my other favorites when I have one. Five stars for the best donuts ever!!! The glazed donuts simply melt in your mouth and they're not overly sugary. The chocolate sprinkled cake donuts are my next favorite...nice fresh texture with an ever slight crunch on the outside. Once the frosting hits your tongue you start to salivate for more!! They used to be open 24 hours but now their hours vary a little. Very friendly service to top it off. read more

EXCELLENT donuts. We ALWAYS do a donut run on Sunday mornings when we are in town visiting family. The owner is kind and caring and goes above and beyond in his customer service and has the best donuts in California! He made a separate batch for our daughter who has severe food allergies to peanuts, tree nuts and citrus, just to be on the extra safe side. This is more than many eateries will do!!! Donuts are good but 1/3 the time they just close while their sign is blinking open 24 hours,but their closed. 1/3 the time they are open ,but out of most popular donuts.
