The city called and notified me of a small leak at the house due to the meter constantly being running. Inform me that the leak had been going on for about three months before they notice the high water usage and my residence I looked around the property found no structural damage. At that point, I figured that I had a slab leak and Manny leaks early in the morning to be told that they could be here the same day to do the inspection to try to find the leak. He had availability the same day as my water bill has been going up progressively about $30 over the last three months and the concern of the water being somewhere that would ultimately damage my home. Showed up around 2 PM. Didn't pressure me found the leak within the first 20 minutes will be here. Explain to me the new process of how he could fix it and that it was a leak underneath my toilet but that he had a technique that would save any breaking of a tile (I don't have anymore since I bought the home that tile has been discontinued) was that a complete of flooring would cost me thousands of dollars plus the repairs are replacing everything and the headache that came along with it. To his technique again, he did not pressure me only explain the process and the dollar amount he was willing to charge me was well within my budget for an emergency. He reassured me that he could get the job done within three hours and he was able to cut off, the pipe that was leaking and reroute the piping with the new sleeve it's been about a week now and I have not had any issues and the meter has stopped running. I hear water constantly running through and my tile stay intact as he cut off a small square and the drywall in the restroom to get to the pipes. After finishing up, he cleaned up after himself explain to me again what he did explained that all his work comes with the lifetime guarantee warranty, which is even more reassuring when it comes to older homes you just don't know what's gonna happen to them. He finished the work and about two hours and 45 minutes, which is within the three hour time job limit that he gave himself. When it comes to home plumber about who to use as most the time there are concerns of integrity, but with Manny, I felt comfortable and what he was telling me was the truth without an upsell of additional services . Quick Summary: Had a pipe leak and back patio area was flooded. Called Manny as a 3rd option on a Friday and he was able to come out within the same day, give a quick run-down of what was going on in terms of my leak. Without sharing what the other plumbers' estimates were, Manny beat those prices and even took care of the problem with less work (cutting pipe and tearing down walls) than the others. A few days later, found a leak coming from the same area that was repaired. Contacted Manny and he showed up within the hour. He was able to find a NEW leak and replaced piping for that one as well. Mannys company did a great job, they were diligent in covering everything with plastic and protected the floors as well. They had good teamwork, and worked very expediently to get the work done as soon as possible. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to repipe my, replace the water heater . It only took his team 7 hrs. to do the repipe. And his drywall team came the following day and completed the work in 8 hrs. Amazing work ethic and made sure everything was clean before they left. You never know what to expect when you make an inquiry for an estimate within Yelp, but if "Manny's Leak" is any example, I'd feel very comfortable in relying on Yelp in the future. Of the six plumbers who responded to my inquiry, Manny's was the first to respond, and although he couldn't make it out the same day, his wife, Ashley promised that he would be out here at first light the next day. He arrived at 9AM, gave me a competing rate to fix my problem, then volunteered to start the work right then and there. Within the hour my "street level" leak was detected and fixed. You don't have to go out and wait on 5 estimates, Manny's will probably be very reasonable. As it turns out, I couldn't have asked for more.
