Wow! Huge portions and reasonable prices! I opted to get the eggplant parm dinner that came with salad to start and garlic bread with the entree. I took 3/4 of my entree home because of how huge the portion was. The feel and taste of Manny's reminded me of a NJ diner back home. After eating maybe half of our food we noticed a large hair (it was baked into the food and when it was pulled out it was long), my friend had to go to the bathroom it made him so sick. Needless to say we didn't finish our food. The one star doesn't even come from the hair in food, but from the way the manager acted once we told him. The bald "manager" is the one we spoke with and he had such a nasty attitude about it, saying it's a family owned business (okay and? Because it's a family owned business it's okay to have hair in my food??). He didn't want to refund us anything(almost a $50 bill for us not even being able to eat all of our food or take leftovers home. The hair was only on one plate, but would you be able to eat your food after seeing hair literally baked into your friends food? What's stopping me from believing there is hair in my food as well? Overall I'm grossed out by the hair and the managers attitude and won't be returning. It's a shame since I love supporting family owned businesses, but not when they are that rude and refuse to accept when something was done wrong on their part. My husband and I were traveling on SC and ran across Manny's in. Boiling Springs. We started out with fried mushrooms with ranch. Both.were delicious! They make their own dressing and it was tops. A little disappointed my salad was iceberg lettuce. I got lasagna and it was good. The accompanying garlic bread was just a slice of.bread with a little butter and garlic. Mu husband got the Special Calzone which he didn't realize held olives and peppers. After picking those off he said the calzone was wonderful! We will stop here again if in area. Prices are never consistent, as the bill is different every time we go for the exact same thing. 10 wings are supposed to be free with large pizza, but was charged for them and then argued with about the bill by a rude man at the register. So we went there for lunch. Hubby ordered the cheeseburger with fries. I asked for a chicken parm sub. The waiter brings out our food and he brings me chicken parm with spaghetti a salad and garlic bread. My salad had onions on it, which I'm allergic to, and green peppers with watered-down ranch dressing that didn't have a taste, the spaghetti was white with very little sauce and the chicken had no taste except a nasty one. Been going to Manny's for a long time now. Their food is affordable and every day of the week they have specials. Great proportion is given on every plate. The waitress is very attentive. The gyro is delicious. The steak and cheese sandwich is great. The pizza is tasty( depends on your topping) i usually go with Supreme! The wings are finger-licking good!!! But the one thing i love the most at Manny's.... is the freaking RANCH! So rich and creamy. I dip everything in it! Well, not everything. The selection of dessert is huge! It was very tasty too. They have a limited beer selection, but we found something that we liked. We also had some deserts, and we still ended up with a very reasonable bill. Been here a few times now. Most of the food is ok. They are very strict on subbing sides which is stupid. They also have a sign at the road that reads lunch specials starting at $5.50. I've never seen that special. Most are $8+. So deceptive. Now for my biggest complaint and will say crookedness. They had write your ticket. You take it to the register and they punch up prices as fast as they can on the register. Never saying a word. Then say X $. You wonder how can that be. So I went to restroom and came back and asked how can this be. For one they charged me $4.25 for a side salad that came with the sandwich for $2. He said oh yeah and gives me back one dollar. Tonight was a bit different as we had already been to and had to leave another restaurant because of insect issues (Hibachi Chinese Buffet) so it took us a bit to gather our selves and decide to eat at Manny's and it turned out to be a great night to spite earlier events. This place rocks every time!! The food is always delicious and amazing, the service is wonderful, food comes out quick and hot, our server was fast on her feet and filling our cups back up before we could ask, it is truly amazing to get great service and food in one place, and Manny's has it all!! I had the Fettucini Carbonara it was a generous serving of the most delicious and well done pasta dish I've ever had!! My youngest son had a cheese pizza it was loaded with cheese and he ate more than one piece while there, he usually only eats one and wants to take the rest home (no matter where the pizza comes from) it must have been that good because he ate the crust too and he never does that!! My oldest son had the Child's Chicken and Fries, WOW what a helping of chicken that is, it's two chicken breasts deep fried, I'm talking the chicken breasts are the size of an adult's hand that's how large they are!! And he ate a whole chicken breast plus fries and a piece of pizza to go with it. I have eaten here several times in the past couple of years great food. I have always gone in to dine but have a newborn so decided to call in our order today. It's around 7pm on a Friday which is prime time for a restaurant. First call rang for over 5 minutes with no answer. No biggie I'll try again in 20 minutes. This time someone picked up said absolutely nothing like we will be with you soon as possible and put the phone down. Then about a minute later hung up on me. Unacceptable business practice mom and pop places thrive on repeat business in this smaller part of town. Not sure if we will return again after this. read more

I love Italian food! I decided to stay local and try this restaurant. It was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. The service was terrible. The waitress was rude and it took a long time for us to get our food. It wasn't even very busy. Our mozzarella cheese sticks came out frozen on the inside, which is terrible but we were very nice about it. The waitress didn't even apologize. She acted like it was a normal occurrence and brought back to the kitchen to be heated up. The maranara sauce was really water down and had no flavor. The pizza was skimpy on the ingredients. My pasta was really greasy. I'm never going back to this restaurant. I'm better off making my own Italian food at home. read more

We thought we would try something new...went to this place for the first time today and was very disappointed . The food was disgusting and very expensive. My husband ordered a Veal Parmesan and it was freezer burnt and gross yet cost $16.99. The marinara, which is put on almost everything, is flavorless and most definitely comes out of a can. My kids even complained about their pizzas and also thought the food was gross. They said the pizza at school was better, if that tells you anything. The "garlic bread" that comes with your meal is literally a burnt piece of sandwich bread, and the garlic bread that is served as an appetizer is the bread they use for their sandwiches with a crap ton of cheese and burnt. We do not recommend this place, ended up paying $70 for two adults and two kids for a very much disgusting meal. read more

If you want some decent Greek food, the place to go is Manny's! Their deserts are amazing and homemade and their gyros are tasty. I have had pretty much every Greek item on their menu thus far and I am impressed. Their ranch dressing is my favorite salad dressing and their staff is kind and care about their customers. The only reason why I haven't given them 5 stars is because sometimes when the owners aren't around, the food quality tends to go down. I've been given a rotten baked potato in my to go order before and they do not pay as much attention to orders. I just ate at Manny's and honestly thought during the meal how I would be writing a positive review right now. Unfortunately, the fact that the food tastes good is overshadowed by the price. A calzone was $18! A large pizza and side salad was $27. I am 99% positive we were ripped off. We had all of these charges and fees that elevated our price. The extra cheese was $3.59.we were never informed of any extra charges. Not to mention the cashier was not very nice explaining why all of these extra fees were added. One of my favorite local restaurants! From the first time I visited to the many times after, the staff and the family that run it have always been incredibly nice and inviting. The chicken souvlaki is one of my favorite dishes; the chicken is unbelievably tender and tasty, and the greek style potatoes are delicious and taste just like my grandma makes. The cheesecake, which is freshly homemade, is off the charts and definitely worth saving room for! I've also had takeout pizza from them numerous times and it's always delicious, and the wings that come with it are too. Definitely check them out if you're in the area! read more

This was my first visit to this restaurant. My best opinion, average. I had the marinated beef over rice pilaf. It had a good flavor and the beef wasn't tough at all. However, it felt as if it was reheated in the microwave. It didn't seem like it was prepared fresh. I would give them another try but I hope the food will be fresh next time. read more
