The food is incredible! Love how vegan friendly they are We had the falafel wraps and Lebanese fries. The sauces are everything! I wish we were closer so we could come more often. I really want to try the cauliflower and brussels sprouts next!

Small but cozy restaurant with incredible food. May be some of my favorite food in Asheville. Food always comes out fast and hot. So many allergy and dietary restriction options. I have yet to have some bad here. Every single dish, side, or dessert is incredibly delicious! Service is always friendly and inviting. There are many options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and even meat eaters. There's desserts and items for sale as well. It truly adds to the experience of visiting.

Pros Lots of Vegan options and they are clearly labeled A large portion of food for your money Dine in or take out Inside and outside seating Tea and water at station Cons Needs some scrubbing outside and a new coat of paint Maybe have menus in a rack to grab as customers enter so they can peruse while they wait Our orders although very generous portion wise lacked flavor (we had the falafel wraps)

Fantastic Shawarma and Kibbeh, and the house-made tzatsiki was the best I've ever had! I asked for the pickled turnip added on the side and it was also Delicious!

Girl, this is my new favorite spot in AVL. This restaurant is counter service, and there is indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. The vibe is very cute and calm. There are a bunch of snacks and pantry staples available for purchase. The woman who took my order was extremely kind and had a very pleasant aura. Now to the review! I was surprised to see so many folks here around lunch time on a Tuesday. There are SO many vegan options that it's almost overwhelming. Everything vegan is clearly labeled and I love that, I felt extremely safe eating here. I went with the hummus (10/10) and the not-lamb shawarma which I believe had seitan in it. Wow, 10000/10. The most delicious shawarma ever, and it was the size of a small baby. I'm so glad this place exists. I want to try the grape leaves and vegan baklava next! I will definitely be a regular here. Thanks for providing so many vegan options, love you!!!

The lamb poutine on my side and grandma had the lentil soup and loved it!

Everything is delicious! I'm always on the hunt for a good poutine. Theirs is such an interesting spin with the lamb!

We've had both the chicken and beet shawarma wraps along with Lebanese fries from their food truck and the food was good (especially for a food truck at a busy event), so we decided to try their restaurant in West Asheville this time. Not a lot of ambiance in terms of decor, but it was plenty busy on a Saturday at lunch. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Since it was a warm, sunny spring day, we sat outside on their front patio. Service was friendly and efficient. The food came pretty quickly. We ordered their famous Lebanese poutine, which is a pile of their fries topped with lamb hashweh with pine nuts, feta cheese and a tangy sauce. Very tasty. Serving size was large enough for leftovers. We also had their signature Gypsy rice bowl with chicken shawarma as the protein. Also very tasty. It was nicely seasoned saffron rice as the base with grilled peppers and onions, the chicken shawarma and a yoghurt sauce on top. The dish could have been a little hotter when it arrived, but the flavor combination was very good and the portion size perfect for lunch. We were full enough we didn't try their baklava, but it looked very good and they were selling lots of it. Reasonable prices. Plenty good, but not quite great. Nice to have this as a go-to place for middle eastern/Lebanese food.

    Beautiful atmosphere.

I usually liked the food here. Last time I was here recently, the food tasted off, too salty and it made me so sick. I won't be returning.

I was starving and saw their booth and a chalkboard of menu options I've never tried or heard of before. I approached and when asked what I would like, I was honest that I was unfamiliar with their cuisine but I trusted them. They asked how I wanted it and I said "how you would eat it! They made me the most incredible meal that has ever passed my lips. I followed Habibi Village on their Instagram so I could chase that high- and boy did I. I NEEDED more of that unique deliciousness. But I was saddened that I was only able to get their Za'aatar once or twice a week and had to travel to multiple spots around the city to a variety of markets and at such limited hours. It is with all of the joy in my heart to support Habibi Village at their brick-and-mortar location as they have grown to a full time spot. Their owner absolutely POURS his soul and spirit into this business and into every meal he serves the community. Plenty of restaurant owners love what they do and love their patrons but this owner stands above and beyond when it comes to passion. This gentleman cares about his food and his patrons on a deep and genuine level that you feel and taste. I clearly can't praise Habibi Village enough. Thank you for what you do for our community and our bellies!

Everything from Arabic music on the speakers to Arabic calligraphy on the wall. The music was a little loud for my taste though I am a fan of Arabic music so this isn't necessarily a criticism. The menu was humble but offered dishes anyone would recognize, from gyros to greek salads to baklava. Everything was made fresh. I decided to keep it simple and order a lamb gyro and fries. My sandwich tasted fresh but the lamb had the familiar taste of Kornos meat which common and mass-produced cones of lamb or beef/lamb. This product is by no means bad but to me more on the bland side. The fries were crinckle style. They were made to order but had some brown burn marks on them, which means they were likely pan-fried as opposed to being deep-fried in a basket . I often pan-fry french fries or frozen potatoes myself. Overall, the meal was good for a mid-day meal. Its not anything to write home about but Ive been a loyal patron to many such establishments. So if you're in the area and want something Mediterranean for breakfast or lunch, be sure to give this place a try, its worth it.
