Food was the best part. 3 stars for that. Everything was tasty enough, but the Greek salad was lacking. The service and prices were off. The lady started friendly but seemed cold when I looked at iPad to review the bill. We ordered 2 sandwiches- 1 gyro and 1 shawarma. It CLEARLY on the menu says it comes with a side of fries, Greek salad, hummus, pita etc. Nowhere does it mention an up-charge for anything. I saw it said +$2.50 for each of the sides we asked for with the sandwich. I questioned this and she gave me a face like "how dare I question?" And just said "nothing is included with Sandwich, even fries". It literally contradicts what is on the menu! She said she'll tell her manager. Anyway- that was weird. Also, on the mixed grille it came with the tiniest pieces of pita, almost offensive, given the price. The entrance feels nicer for a take out place with the fake plants on the walls, but the back is closed off and the bathroom is dirty. Overall, I'd really only go for take out. Decided to go try out Pita Grille in Taylors. We've been wanting to find Mediterranean food like we are used to. We've had some good food here but we have missed kabobs etc. We got the Mixed Plate for Two which seriously had almost everything on the menu. The first things brought out was the Hummus, Baba Ganoush with Pita. The Hummus was delicious and I was so surprised by the Baba Ganoush. It was very different from what I thought. It was delicious! Then came the HUGE PLATES of food. Greek Salad, Chicken Kabob, Jerusalem Kabob, Lamb Chops and Rice Pilaf. Wow! Everything was delicious and flavorful. The chicken was seasoned well and tender. The Jerusalem Kabob was perfectly seasoned and the Lamb Chops were cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. The rice was different than I was used to, it had raisins in it. My husband doesn't like rice but couldn't stop eating it. The young man helping us was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!!! read more

I got some food to go. I tried the falafel with tzatziki instead of tahini and the Beef Shawarma which came with fries. The fries were excellent and I devoured them in the car before I got home. It's a small spot but does have tables if you want to eat there. Service was friendly when taking my order and giving me the food. I visited this café with my sister. Before going, we checked the menu prices online, and when we arrived, the board displayed the same prices. The menu clearly stated that the sandwiches came with fries. I ordered a small side of hummus with my sandwich. However, when my sister checked the receipt after we had already waited for our food, she noticed that the total was much higher than expected. She asked the manager about the price difference, and he claimed that we were charged extra for the fries. She pointed out that the menu explicitly stated that fries were included with the sandwiches, but they didn't offer any explanation or correction. By the time we realized the issue, we had already started eating, so we just let it go in the moment. Still, I don't think it's right, the prices should match what's listed on the menu. We were charged $42 for our meal and two drinks. The sandwiches with fries were $11.99 each, drinks are $2.50 each. Something wasn't right... The photos I uploaded show exactly what we received, and in my opinion, it wasn't worth the price. It also seems like they charged $8.99 the price of a full hummus appetizer instead of a side portion of hummus. As for the food, the fries were crispy and well-cooked, but the chicken shawarma was lacking in flavor. The garlic aioli was not good at all, very oily. My sister enjoyed her gyro sandwich, but overall, the experience left a bad impression. I don't think we'll be returning. They overcharge customers, assume no one will notice, and when questioned, they come up with excuses to justify the price hike. If you visit this place check that your total is not different from what's listed on the menu. If it is I strongly suggest not ordering from this establishment. As much as we love this place, we were very disappointed in last night's meal. I don't if owners have changed or they are distracted by the renovations going on. We ordered take out of 2 chicken Zorbas & had beef added on top for an additional $4.99 each. When I arrived home & opened the box, the beef was sliced & chopped like what is used on Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, some of the rice was undercooked & the spices overwhelmed the entire dish. The chicken was rubber in texture with a gagging gravy sauce that was cold and bland mixed in there. It was cut up in tiny child sized bites. I can tolerate all kinds of odd, nasty flavors and textures, but this one actually made me nauseous. My husband tried it and told me to throw it away. It was that bad. Im no quitter though and was pretty hungry. The menu displayed that this meal and several others come with fries, hummus, pita, but that was apparently incorrect. A little grammar could go a long way in communicating this to the customer. The portions were ridiculously small. My husbands mixed plate was so sad and small. The pricing did not reflect the tiny portions. I ordered my littles big meals as myself and we were all hungry afterwards. Im not a big girl and it doesn't take much to satiate. My children's gyros were the worst Ive had, like ever. I would be shocked to find if they were actually cut from the rotating spit, theres no way the chicken shawarma was. Our total was over $62 for very poor quality and quantity. I regret not snapping some photos of the tiny portions on the styrofoam plates.
