My family loves Asian buffets with an insane passion. We've probably been to every one in the NYC-Long Island area. Just wanted to shout-out this place because the chefs are almost all Cantonese and they know know to use that wok. My church (SAG) came here this month for a trip. A group more than 100 people. There were many selections of food to choose from, each one had very good quality. The customer service was also great each table was attended regularly (taking plates we were done with and asking if we needed anything). The buffet had a decorative and inviting look to it, it was kept clean and maintained.The price was not too expensive so it is great for big groups. Great food and service. Seafood selection is excellent and all others choices for an international buffet. Everything is clean and well kept. Courteous signs are posted to prevent waste and it is a good reminder. The quality of the food is good and fresh. I have been coming to the area for many years this is a good addition. I have been to this buffet with my fiance many times and we always have a good experience. The food is delicious and the staff is always polite and efficient. The last time we were here, and the reason I decided to write the review, we had just paid or bill and we're preparing to leave when the manager came over and said that he remembered the last time we were there we were charged for drinks and that he knows that we only ever drink water and he refunded us money for the drinks. The place is located in an area with some lower end stores like harbor freight tools and ollie's but plenty of parking. The inside décor almost resembles the buffets in Las Vegas, including the gold leafed tiles in the bathroom. The food was far superior compared to other buffets in the Harrisburg/Lancaster area, large made to order hibachi area with delicious looking ingredients. Loved the cold tripe salad, squid salad, sesame okra, sushi was great, even had nice salmon sashimi. Kids loved the chocolate fountain. Definitely would go again, highly recommend. read more

Nicely decorated, layout was just as nice. Service by the hostess, seemed like we were troublesome, however the waitress was better. There is a great variety of food. What I found is that my palette deemed the food bland missing spices and food perhaps from sitting out are a bit overdone. The rice, fried dumplings were really tasty, the hibachi was nice touch. What I didn't appreciate is the location of raw chicken versus the Raw veggies in the next tray. Cross contamination, would easily happen. Hey, for the middle of Amish Country, this Chinese buffet is not bad. The sushi selection is decent and they have island after island of other Chinese takeout classics and even a row of "American" food for the unadventurous. Not to mention a made-to-order Hibachi grill, carving station, and nice sized salad and dessert bar. Chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, and other seafood. There is something for everyone. I don't think tourists have found this place yet. It is hidden in a shopping center and from the outside you won't know what to make of it, but inside is gorgeous. We got here late in the evening so understandable that some of the food trays were not as filled. But had a excellent variety of foods that you don't even find in NYC. All you can eat included a carving station (which changes based on the day of the week) as well as a pick your own fixings Hibachi bar. Price was excellent for what you can eat ($14.95 for adults, $7.95 or $11.95 for kids). Has a raw bar as well though I didn't try it as it was late in the evening and you can't be sure how long the oysters have been sitting there. Definitely would go back. read more

This is a great Chinese/Japanese buffet close to Dutch Wonderland and Amish country...and a really great alternative to all the smorgasbords out there in this area of Lancaster. Don't get me wrong, the smorgasbords are the heart of Lancaster...but once you have been at one, they are pretty much all the same! American comfort food, steamed vegetables or cooked in butter, and minimum seasoning. Manor Buffet had perfectly seasoned dishes, sushi/sashimi, a chocolate fountain, and ice cream, cakes, and fruit for dessert. Notable dishes: different shrimp preparations (not just the typical fried shrimp), Chinese soy sauce duck, fish entrees, crab, crayfish, bbq ribs, good selection of sauteed vegetables, and a hibachi made to order buffet. I ate there with my 5 children and our bill was under $30 and everyone got their fill of Mac & Cheese, French fries, General Tso, and their boneless spare ribs were delicious. Well where to start.... Having passed this place up many different times for other buffet restaurants I can say that it was a BIG mistake. Having been to almost every other Buffet Restaurant in Lancaster county and finally trying here I'm actually sorry for passing it up previously. I will say that all Buffet places have their own specialities but the Manor has it all. Good, plentiful items that are continually being restocked because it's that good. From all the appetizers to your final plate it's all fresh foods that you choose from. Then the ending dish the desserts from fruits to the creamiest soft serve ice cream I've had at a restaurant are top of the chart and if you leave feeling disappointed it's your own fault. The inside décor makes you feel as though you are sitting at an outside venue. They are always cleaning the service islands so everything looks so good you don't know where to start. To close this review out I will say we will have Manor Buffet on our Eat Out Night Place and do yourself a favor and try here. I hate to think that this place will soon be so liked lines will be there. But I will say for what you get for the very modest price will have you there and already planning your return visit like we have done. Our Pizza night out has now taken a back seat to Manor. Reviews are like people, each has their own opinion, someone has an issue and instead of bringing it up to your server you write a negative point. Then, if that weren't enough, they make BBQ pork and fried chicken that's the best I've had since living in the South! Variety was extensive. My wife missed having "fried rice", but other than that we all found things we liked. I loved the garlic shrimp & the roast beef from the carving table.
