Great assortment of good! Food almost always hot and delicious. Like the non- Chinese food they also offer on the buffet.

So I haven't been to a buffet in quite a long time but this place really impressed me! They are extremely clean, disinfecting the seating area after guests leave, plenty of hand sanitizer, gloves by the buffet displays and masks if needed. The food was good and the prices were extremely reasonable for a buffet. If you bring a child, the cost is based upon their age. Each adult was only $21 for dinner on Christmas! You can't go wrong with that! They have an abundance of soups, cold food, appetizers, and entrees. They also have a huge hibachi area where chefs make any combination of what you desire. And you get to choose exactly what you want with whatever combination of sauce, an added bonus. They have a ton of sushi and fresh seafood as well. The desserts were plentiful too, with pre sliced cake, delicious fresh fruit, a chocolate fountain and ice cream machine. You couldn't ask for anything more! So, maybe we were here on an off day, but the food wasn't very good. Now for the positives, though, it's a nice place, a lot of options and selections, and service was good. The food just was lacking. 4 of the 1st six items my wife picked weren't good at all. And the other two weren't great. My food was OK but again, I've been at other Chinese buffets, and they've been much better than this. We really wanted this to be good because we used to go to the Chinese buffet near Tanger outlets that's no longer there. Disappointing to say the least. Plus, it wasn't cheap. I really wish you had the option of zero stars. My fiancé and I both got ill after this meal. I believe things were not kept at proper temperature. If you like yodels and other packaged desserts and cookies opened and placed on a platter then you'll love the dessert. To top it off, on a recent visit next door, to ollies (which I would recommend if you like a bargain!) when we came back to the car someone had thrown up right next to our car... they got sick so quickly they couldn't make it home! read more

I was wowed the moment I walked in. The ambiance reminded me of Las Vegas theme casinos somehow - over the top decors in a good way. And it's huge, at least 5 main seating areas. Great varieties of dishes categorized into countless stations. Very spacious. A lot of thoughts were put into presentation of various dishes. One example was the Cookie Station - very nicely set up (see pic). Most of the buffet offerings were the usual suspects, but the sheer number of them was simply overwhelming. Among them the cold appetizers stood out as rather unique - featuring spicy tripe, cilantro beef, jelly fish, egg plants, sea weed, mussels, and crab leg salad. I loved them all. Chicken quesadilla was another dish rarely seen in an Asian buffet. The deep fried chicken wings and drum sticks were the best fried chickens I've had - hot, juicy, and crispy. Yum! The price had apparently gone up over the 3 years according to Yelp, but $9.45 was still a steal. Service was descent. Ambiance was great. Food was better than average. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine establishment. A must stop in Lancaster - even for tourists who have a full list of itineraries ;-) read more

The selection of food was fabulous! Unfortunately the food suffered from sitting and was not great. The shrimp in the shell was by far the best thing we ate! Shopping and eating.. that's what Lancaster County does! (Oh.. and admiring the Amish.) There are plenty of options to get yourself into all you can eat food trouble and the Manor Buffet is good change of pace from all the other Good, Plenty and Fancy places around. There is much to enjoy at this buffet coming from NY since the price/quality ratio (currently $15.95 for dinner) is pretty damn good. There were many well stocked seafood options - oysters, clams multiple ways, mussels multiple ways, shrimps multiple ways, freshly made sushi and full steamed crabs (no crab legs when we went during the week), salmon and other fish dishes. They have a hibachi in the back to get made to order dishes - plenty of steak, chicken and shrimp with other side items. They have a carving station and the guy running in this area is full of energy and funny! I think the service was very good with the wait staff constantly clearing plates. I saw someone always cleaning the serving stations throughout dinner. The place is fairly large with plenty of seating and they even have "to go" options. For dessert they have plenty of fresh fruit, cookies, cakes, a chocolate fondue fountain, soft serve ice cream and sundae bar. The strawberries I saw here were a little funny looking - thin and pointy, but most items were good. I came with a group of 5. They easily honored the senior discounts and everyone ate plenty while being impressed by the selection of the buffet. This place is really rather unique in the Lancaster area. In a sea of Pennsylvania Dutch smorgasbords, Manor Buffet is a grand Chinese Buffet. The interior is reminiscent of a Las Vegas-style joint with faux buildings, sectioned off seating areas and high ceilings, but the approximately $18 per adult price point felt decidedly budget friendly. The buffet stations are huge, and while the majority of it is typical Chinese buffet quality, they do attempt to make up for that with quantity. Not only is the selection massive, it is not filled with very much "filler" food. In fact, vegetarians will have a harder time finding much variety than would be expected at a place this size. Carnivores will have no such problem. Besides the static stations, there is a made-to-order noodle station, a carving station and a sushi station with employees constantly refilling the selection. The sushi is of fairly low quality, and the selection is limited, but this is buffet-style sushi, what do you expect? The dessert section is somewhat limited, and most of what they did have was not very good, an almost unforgivable sin in Lancaster, but if you satiate yourself on heavy, filling, protein laden entrees, maybe cutting back on dessert isn't the worst idea. All things considered, this is a plus representation of the venerable Chinese Buffet, with a wide variety of entrees available, both Asian inspired and otherwise. The choice and the price point earn Manor Buffet 4 stars from me, but I would sooner return to some of the better Pennsylvania Dutch places over this establishment in the future. read more

First thought walking in was that the place is beautiful and well kept. The food was fresh and hot. it was a 45 minute wait since we where a party of 14. We waited about 30 minutes though, like I said the food was great service was good to even tho the waitress double charged us by accident lol. Came here before hitting the outlets. My husband and I came at around 1130 and we were seated promptly. The buffet was decent. Sushi, American food, Asian hot food, hibachi, cold appetizer, fruits and desserts. Before you get food from the buffet you have to use hand sanitizer and wear gloves. This is a nice precaution but I saw some folks not follow the rules or wear their like gloves into the buffet. The food was okay. Another Buffet that was once Great is now just OK. The quality of the food has decreased along with some top items that were eliminated. [They no longer have Duck.] I actually had my wedding party reception here as it used to be my favorite place. I have been back 3-4 times in the last 6 months and see the continuous downslide of this place. When buffets refuse to add new items and get stagnant, I know it's time to go elsewhere. This place is awesome! Spacious, new, courteous, wide selection of food. It's great to have a Chinese buffet in the area, so close to many attractions. There are your usual Chinese takeout style options, like the General Tso's which was really crispy and delicious. Sushi bar, salads, soups, seafood, carvery, hibachi, ice cream, frozen yogurt, fruit. The chicken wings are also very good! The interior is reminiscent of the Vegas hotel buffet aesthetic with hints of an Asian manor. Everything is bright and clean, and the food is refilled at a decent rate. There is also a chocolate fountain for strawberries, marshmallows and pineapple chunks. Ok, you guys might notice a trend in me always writing reviews for AYCE places/buffets... there's something nostalgic for me about a Chinese buffet. It's DEFINITELY not the most authentic with chicken nuggets and chicken quesadillas as options at this particular buffet, but i just have memories of my family and I going to Chinese buffets for dinner growing up. Anyway, my family and I came here after a day of shopping at the outlets. I found it on Yelp with decent reviews and thought we'd check it out. It's a large, clean restaurant. The vibe is kind of funny bc you can tell it probably wasn't a Chinese restaurant before. Food selection is what you'd expect. They have a nice hibachi and decent sushi selection. Staff were continually refilling pans. The chocolate fountain, just... yes. If you're going into it expecting a good quality Chinese buffet you'll be happy! We had a great 2 meals here, both times were for dinner. The first time we had much better attentive service. We were seated in the back where it was all tables (not booth) and we tried everything! Drinks were replenished, plates were cleared. I took off one star because on our second visit, we were seated in a corner booth where the server was less attentive than our first visit. In fact it was the opposite - he rarely came over to clear plates. Never once replenished our beverages - we had to ask. We felt that the variety of food offered and for the price point - this can't be beat. Plus when you're dining with a 5 yr old child who likes a little of everything, this is a no brainer. The past two visits resulted in some food poisoning unfortunately. Steak that was still raw inside , chicken (?) that was cold and mushy ...ugh . Also , the fresh fruit wasn't even ripe ! After a century bike ride (metric century, about 64 miles) I felt the craving for some greasy food, so I came to this place, and WOW! They have everything you can imagine, staples like BBQ ribs, sweet sour chicken, crab meat, mussels, and other seafood, sushi, salad bar, fresh fruit. Since we were in Lancaster for the Memorial day weekend, we wound up going two nights in a row!! The price is pretty reasonable at $15.99 for adults. Kids are charged by age range. On the menu are the cooked foods such as meats, chicken, pork, Chinese food, etc.. There is also other dishes such as pizza, quesadilla, mac and cheese, etc for the kids to enjoy. A carving station has roast beef, sausage, small steaks and ham. Raw bar section includes oysters, clams and mussels. The sushi section has tuna and salmon for sashimi. The others are either nigiri sushi or a variety of handrolls. Their stone crabs are definitely worth trying! A hibachi grill is there for your picking. Just fill up your plate with all the ingreidents you want and the chef cooks it for you! Don't forget to leave room for dessert! Went last Sunday after visiting the Amish farm nearby, our party of 9 got seated immediately and we were greeted with a smile. Yes, i know its basic but for an asian restaurant, u know what i mean. The buffet area is clean, no crumbs on food stations, no dirt on floor, first impression was great. Then we saw soft serve icecream machines.... how often do u see that in buffet :) Theres a raw bar which got refilled in a timely manner even though it was not a busy night. Sushi rice was too hard and sashmi was just ok. Hibachi on the other hand was good! Lots of variety & the outcome dish smells really good! One highlight was the boiled fish... so tender, so tasty!! cookie was good (more on the hard/crunchy side) and choco icecream was amazing!
