I paid $2800 to prepare and install sod Marathon 1 to my feont yard. The sod was installed without full cobyact with the ground in 1/3 of the area because the groind needed tilling and leveling. Manuel's Gardening also covered our main water shut off near the curbside with sod. Lol. The gaps between the sod pieces were 1/2 inch or more therby evaporating the water that is on an aitomatic sprinkler. I had to rehire another Landscaper to Re Install the grass after preparing the ground and leveling with 25 bags of 2 cubic yard of potting soil. Until today, Manuel has not returned my calls. Not recommended to hire this business. It was good I had to get another Landscaper to check the lawn, otherwise my investment in the grass installation could have all been lost. read more

Appreciate the quick reply and efficiency in coming to my house to give price quote. His son called me after my initial conversation and we agreed to do the job on Monday. Originally they gave me quote for $150 front yard clean up and $550 for backyard clean up. When I confirmed the price, I got a reply that with hauling will be additional $100.No one showed up on Monday, got text on Wednesday that they had family emergency. okay, maybe I should have read some more recent reviews before contacting this father & son business. They were professional in the beginning and gave a competitive estimate but I should have known better. The competitive rate that was given definitely showed in the quality of their work. They worked on my parents yard and let me tell you, it does not look like anything was done to it at all. I'm realizing they basically stole my 65 year old parents money and laughed themselves to the bank with how it all turned out. My parents can't pull their own weeds out and their yard needed a trimming from trees to grass. Well, the trees look like they weren't trimmed and the weeds are only half pulled out and their yard remains a mess. I didn't request for a house cleaner but I'm pretty sure a non experience house cleaner would have done better than these two hack jobs. read more

So we hired these people based on their ratings on yelp. What was supposed to be a clean up of my back yard, turned into them breaking my glass sliding door with a weed whacker into a million pieces. Very disappointed in the job they did. I asked to have rocks, weeds and plastic that was placed underneath to be removed. They only removed the rocks and top layer of grass/weeds. All the plastic is still under there. They were also supposed to plant white hydrangeas...they planted all blue. AND in under a week the plants are already dying! I hired him to check a new sprinkler timer that I connected. He checked the timer and said it was working properly. Insisted the the issue was a water valve. The water valve is a new and was working with the old timer. I asked to at least secure the timer to the garage concrete wall. He refused to use the screw anchors. He said they were not needed and that the timer would be secured to the wall. He ran of before I could check his work. I opened the door to the timer and it immediately fell. Requested garden clean up and communication was fine, even showed up for the job. When the job was not completed as originally discussed, Jesus and Manuel became very difficult to work with. Property damage was involved and the pair initially held themselves responsible. However, when time came to fix their mistakes, they did not. They have not completed the job, and have created more damage and I am now having to spend more money to fix their work and the damage they have caused. They intentionally postpone maintenance so that they can charge you more. I've been trying to contact them for over a month about my sprinkler programming. The only way to get them to come was to ask for my monthly maintenance. They respond to text message days later. They say they will check their schedule and get back to you like a week later. They say they will come next Monday. They no show. Then my appointment was pushed to Thursday. They initially quoted me $50 for my monthly clean up, but when they showed but they said it's more because I waited too long. I told him I've been trying to contact them for weeks. I said I can show the texts. He says that he contacted me weeks ago but I refused service. If that were remotely true, I would have had them come. Again, I tell him, I have texts showing I've been trying to contact him. He ignores me and continues to talk about how he will charge me more. These people are con artists. Dealing with them is not worth a second of your time. They are unreliable and think they can bully their customers into paying more than what was quoted. read more

Contacted them to get a quote and we've agreed on a price. The verbal agreement was I pay them half on the day they first start and the other half when they finish the job. They called me that they can start a day early which I was okay with and paid them half through Zelle. They did a portion of the job and said they would be back the following day to complete it. They showed up the following day and I told them that I will leave my property open for them to complete and I will be in and out throughout the day. They sent me a text about an hour after saying that they are almost done but they left without finishing it because I didn't respond to their text for half an hour. I sent them a text as soon as I got home. They came back about an hour after that and told me that they want the full payment before finishing the job. I said no, the agreement was the rest of the payment was given to them after the job is completed. Manuel got mad and left. I get a text from the son, Jesus asking for 50% of the balance but they are not coming back to finish the job. Then I realized that they broke our water pipe without telling me which cost me more. I would've paid him the balance regardless of what the cost of plumbing had he been honest with me and finished the job. DO NOT HIRE THESE guys. read more
