This was my first time here and it was absolutely outstanding. They do have odd hours though so if you go, make sure you call to see if they're open. This location easily has the best sandwiches. You will find anywhere in this part of Florida as far as I'm concerned.

When you walk in, it just feels like they would make a good sandwich. It's a small shop, smells incredible and feels like you were transported to a deli up north somewhere (I wouldn't know from personal experience- just taking a wild guess based on assumptions. The sandwich is solid, being a Florida native my sandwich vocabulary only goes so far (Publix is top tier- the rest is muddled with firehouse, jersey mikes, etc.) but this sandwich right here is exceptional! The bread is amazing, crispy on the outside, nice and chewy inside. The Balboa is our go-to sandwich.

Woooow, these sandwiches were delicious. I tried some Stetson Hatter which had a more classy combo with the roast beef because of the roasted red peppers & onions. The quality of the meat is great. I did enjoy the panini but it wasn't my favorite. However, the star of my lunch was the roast beef panini! Super simple ingredients, just roast beef and horseradish cheddar, but what a combo! I definitely recommend getting this panini if you are into roast beef. The place was packed so the wait time might take a minute. The ambience is really cool, you can hear the heated conversations between the employees which makes this place feel authentic to the NYC style sandwich shops

They are the best deli style sandwich shop I've found since leaving NY. It's literally the best sandwiches, filled with meat and flavor but that's not even the best part!! The bread is the star and phenomenal (you can just buy a loaf separate). I got the girls to try a black and white! They loved it cause they split flavors and a potato knish (their new fav snack)! There isn't a lot of seating inside but a good amount outside.

I don't think this was worth the price and wouldn't be going back anytime soon. $16 for a panini the size of a bagel, I don't even know if this bread could be called a panini? Paid extra for pesto and that's how much they gave me? Underwhelming all around

Small counter but they have tables outside as well. Here are some their drink choices in front of the counter.

Excellent choices of Hearty fulfilling sandwiches. A perfect go to shop. I ordered the Roast beef Panini

I can't stop thinking about this sandwich. I was in DeLand for an appointment around lunchtime and just happened to eat at Manzano's. Now I'm planning a trip back mostly to get another sandwich haha. Note that the inside is a bit small and may not have enough seats during the lunch rush. When I went, they were having issues with their payment system so paying cash is preferred.

The place is small but the sandwiches are not. The special was stake with cheese z, peppers and onions. Wow was it big on on their home made roll. The pastrami on home made roll was also large. There is some seating inside and there are tables outside. Hot sandwiches are only half orders and you will see why

    It's a sandwich, you Chickin' $h1t Jerk!

Take it like a man...zano. You want an authentic NY sandwich shop in the heart of De-Land? Fughetaboutit! What you got my friend, is a little gem I like to call, "Be a F@$4'in Manzano!" This place has all that you need to be a real wise guy from the greasy-fried atmospheric aroma wafting past your nose that clings to your clothes like a needy 3 year-old, to some great import beers chillin in the fridge begging to be accompanied by a frosty mug (supplied by the beautiful sultan of sammies). You wanna know about the food? You talkin to me? Settle down, chisel-chest, I'm gettin to it. I got somethin that reminds me of you & your smart mouth; the Jerk Chicken panini. This thing is beautiful: poetry in fu@$'in motion, alright? You got your spice, you got your tenda' chicken, you got your fresh baked bread...what is there not to like? Alright, now it's time for the ugly- First, get some more outdoor seating. Nobody wants to smell like a greasy piece of trash after they eat inside. Second, start makin some fries or something other than a bag of chips. I went to 7-11 for lunch yesterday & my expectations were a lot lower, if you know what I'm sayin.' Finally, wait a minute. There is no finally. Go man-up and eat here, unless you're from Jersey. And in that case, there's a sandwich shop down the road for you, j@ck@$$.

Craving a real handcrafted sandwich? Then you definitely need to stop here... I had the Jerk Chicken sandwich and Liza had the Manzanos Chicken parm. Both sandwiches were delicious, so good that I didn't have time to take a picture of Liza's before she started eating, lol... Place looked like a small NYC Deli and it was packed so order ahead if you can...

To be frank, this is the only place in DeLand worth eating. Great selection of sandwiches both hot & cold and the bread is incredible.

Amazing food, hilarious cooks. Very true to being a New York deli. Then clubber Lang is hands down my favorite.

Great subs and salads. Reminds me of one of my fave places in Jersey. A bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Our drinks came out quickly. I ordered a vanilla bean cold brew. It was okay - I'd give it a 3/5. I did order it sweetened - maybe I should've ordered it unsweetened. It tasted a bit watered down from the start. My husband ordered the Rocks Berry Cooler. (Roxberry? - it's listed both ways). With the mix of Hibiscus and berries - we expected it to be fruity-esque. It tasted like cough medicine. I would absolutely never order it again. This won't be my first choice in coffee shops but maybe when I'm in the area.

Boston Coffeehouse's new drive-thru location is open and now by far my favorite location. The drive…read morethru is 3 lanes and could use a menu at each one but that's about my only complaint there. The far left is where the menu and ordering speaker are and it's for drink only orders while the other two lanes are staffed with walking servers with tablets. This was the first BC location that ever understood "light syrup" and "less sweet" when it came to my drink! All the others still load it up with syrups but my mocha was perfect here and I could still taste mostly coffee with a hint of chocolate. Our breakfast sandwiches were still hot and fresh even after a 20 min drive to our destination. The ciabatta on the chipotle breakfast sandwich was soft and not hard and dry like some places can get with that type of bread. The fillings were fresh and well balanced. My egg/bacon/cheese croissant was buttery and hit the spot with a big layer of fluffy scrambled eggs and bacon cooked not too crispy but not too floppy so you could bite through it nicely. Given that they do sandwiches to order they were smart and have 10+ numbered parking spaces to pull in to and wait for your order on busy days.
