I tried the Italian beef burger; it was very juicy, it was placed on the perfect bun, With mozzarella cheese, Homemade fries seasoned to perfection. Burgers are the bomb here, if you do call your order in make sure to check it before you leave as they sometimes get something small wrong. Also no real parking unless you park on the street in front of the store which is only a couple of spots due to the bus spot. read more

I don't eat hamburgers often (trying to be moderately healthy!) but I got a hankering yesterday that lingered through this evening. Several months ago, I noted the "burgerie" in question for just such a moment. The eat-in/take-out space is simple and clean. When I approached the counter, I was greeted by the friendly cook as well as cashier who took my order. I was asked several quick questions and in less than 10 minutes, I was served just what I had been hankering for PLUS a side of fresh, hot fries with my own bottle of ketchup. I had a burger with grilled onions, mozzarella cheese and mushrooms served on a fresh, slightly grilled pretzel roll. Total gastronomic satisfaction with well-priced ($8), better-than-average food products, clean premises and a friendly staff who made the occasional indulgence completely worth it! Stopped by today to try the infamous Hangover Burger ...an allegedly huge reference level sandwich well worth it's weight in gold. It's a 12.50 bacon double cheeseburger...So it's expensive even when applying Portillo's slide rule. The burger is essentially two different sandwiches....a grilled ham and cheese and a bacon double cheeseburger. It's a decent version of both, much stronger in the grilled ham and cheese area, and sadly a master of neither as the burger lacked any real flavoring. Maybe the burger is supposed to derive all of the taste from the various toppings? It's a shame if that's true...especially for a burger that ticks in at 17 bucks when paired with a small portion of very good fresh cut fries and can pop. This place charges 1.25 for a can of pop! Horrible pricing strategies...If you go through the roof on the burgers you have to offer relief somewhere...If you value your customers that is. Hope this review helps someone out as this is in my opinion another overpriced spot I'm never going back to. read more

When it was Pacific Sub, it was a great place. Friendly, very reasonable prices, large portions, just a nice mom & pop place to get something to eat. Now that the original owners have retired and sold the business, it is not the same at all. Despite them claiming to keep most of the original menu. Prices have gone up, portions are much smaller, and the food is not good at all. This use to be my go to spot to get a gyro, but not anymore. I couldn't even finish it, as it was disgusting. Burnt, bland, even the fires were burnt and bland. Guess I'll be going back to Nicky's down the street.... R.I.P. Pacific Sub. read more

Went into Manzo's today for the first time. We were very impressed the place was clean and well set up the staff was friendly helpful and pleasant. We told the young man at the counter we hadn't been there before and he gave us menus and walked us thru a few of the items pointing things out and then told us to take our time no hurry . I ordered the jalapeño burger with fried pork and bacon jalapeños and guacamole absolutely delicious. My wife being a little more health conscious ordered a turkey burger with guacamole, fresh greens and a chipotle aoli which she said was quite good . With it we got fresh cut fries and drink for $20 bucks . We will be coming back again good food good pleasant service and reasonable prices. This place is excellent - super fresh and lots of options. I don't even eat meat and I loved it. The veggie burger - patty made with black beans, served with fresh spinach on top and a spicy sauce - was amazing, and my son raved about the cheeseburger. AWESOME! I got a double cheeseburger with barbecue sauce, grilled onions and bacon and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was extremely fresh and the bun was extremely soft (I can't stand when you get a burger and the bun sucks. It really makes all the difference in the world!)
